Law be damned

“Hello,” Harrison said as soon as the call was answered on the other end and then a grumbling voice came in.

“What do you want now? You are a free man now so why are you calling me?” Maxwell couldn’t lower the anger he felt after seeing the call. As much as he hated Harrison, he was unable to bring himself to ignore the call, or else the consequences would be worse.

“Ramon is dead,” Harrison said and went silent for a while. Maxwell felt his words and his anger died down quickly.

“What? What happened?” He gasped in shock.

“He was murdered, and I am going to take revenge for him. I don’t care what the cops would say or if this means breaking the law. The law couldn’t save Ramon so why should I mind the law when I’m taking out vengeance.” Harrison said.

As much as he wanted to go on a rampage, he wanted to tell everyone his reason so they wouldn’t see him as a monster. The world has to know that it wasn’t his fault for taking such action as he was suffering in pain.
