Chapter One Hundred and Nine - Defend yourself like a man

At the construction site, Jason’s eyes were still glued to the architect's office. As he looked at the door, he thought about how this all needed to end soon, and all the proof he needed could be behind that door.

“What’s wrong with you?” Danny’s voice startled him and interrupted his thoughts. He turned to face Danny’s flinty glare.

“Nothing” Jason shrugged his shoulders and went back to work.

“I’m not done talking to you,” Danny snapped.

Jason inhaled sharply, then looked at Danny and said, “Go on.”

“Why were you looking towards the office? I know you don’t want to be an architect. That kind of job isn’t for people like you.”

“You have no idea what kind of person I am,” Jason said as he walked away.

“I know exactly who you are, Trash. You’re a piece of trash who has no respect for authority,” Danny yelled as he followed Jason.
