Chapter Two Hundred & Seventy-Two

She got downstairs and could not see Paula. She looked around the place.

“ Where is she?” She asked Sam who stood there looking shocked as well.

“ She was right here when I left this place”

Michelle was not having any of it.

She charged at him.

“ Where did you keep her?”

“ This was all planned by the both of you, you saying you wanted to pee, and then I left her here, you two planned this” He left Mitchell there and went upstairs.

Mitchell ran to the door that the maid had pointed. She got to the door and saw that it was locked. She tried to hit it open but it was not working.

” Who is there?”

Mitchell heard a faint voice coming from the room. She leaned in on it.

“ Anyone there?” She asked.

“ Mitchell” That was Reuben calling faintly.

He had woken up and could not recognize where he was. He tried to stand up but could not do so. He was weak.
