Chapter Two Hundred & Seventy

She quickly told Dave about the man that had met her at the pack.

It sounded surprising to him at first but was no longer funny when he remembered that someone was following Mitchell as well.

“ Maybe it is just some coincidence,” he told Paula.

Paula was not satisfied with it. She went to her bag and brought out the card he had given her. She called him up.

When Richard saw her call, he smiled.

“ Such an easy catch,” he said as he picked it up and answered.

She wanted him to meet her up in a place, that same place. He teased her about missing him already.

He got dressed and drove out of the house. He got to the place and saw that she had already gotten there, and even had a drink on the table.

He walked to her.

“ Wanna give me a hug?” He spread his hands at her.

“ Not today” She waved at him to sit down. He had a disappointed look on his face.
