Chapter Two Hundred & Sixty-Seven

He drove back to the house feeling down and dejected. He could not explain why everything was beginning to turn against him.

He got home and noticed that the domestic staff were not there. He called out to them but did not hear anyone answer. He went around his house and saw that no one was around.

He called the security man at his gate and asked where his domestic staff had all gone.

“ When I asked them, they answered that you asked them to leave, I had to let them go”
