Chapter 39
“Shit, you motherfucker, how did you let them catch you?” Eric cursed as he clutched on the bars of the gate that were separating him physically from Greg.

He came as a visitor, and Greg was in jail in the meantime, waiting for his fucking fate.

The way Greg looked was dreadful. Eric had never seen him this scared and hopeless. Eric was feeling thankful in his head because he didn’t accompany Greg when he abducted the girl.

If not, he would have been behind bars as well, but his betrayal smile kept flaunting on his cheek as though he could do something to help him.

“It’s been two days, and Grandma Lisa hasn’t even come to see me.” He murmured, his head down, facing the ground.

“What if she thinks you really did it, or maybe she was still in shock that you could do something like that to ruin your family name?” Eric's words were beginning to piss him off.

“If you fucking don’t have anything good to say, then get the fuck out of here. I don’t even need your sympathy.” He growled at him.
