Chapter Sixty-Four

Natasha strolled through the lines of clothes filled in the mall. Everyone would expect her to wear a pretty smile as she shopped for a dress to wear on her birthday, but to Natasha, there was nothing to be happy about.

It was just some dumb birthday party that had been thrown by her parents for her. She wasn't interested in the party, and one of these days, she would lie in her room sleeping while her friends and family attended the party alone.

She was tired of being forced to attend a dumb party that she didn't care about.

A day that brought back old memories. How was she expected to celebrate and smile?

"Ma'am," her maid called out as she tried out the third dress. "This looks good on you!"

Natasha rolled her eyes at the compliment her maid just voiced out.

"Of course, everything looks good on me," she responded sarcastically.
