CHAPTER THIRTEEN

I was trying to make sense of what Talon just told me. We left the ship there to be guarded by Twelve. So, how the hell did it vanish from where I left it? Looked at Talon as he looked at our surroundings, Twelve was his friend, so if Twelve really took the ship, then he would know.

And if was a planned thing to dupe me and Maggie, then he would be here to rescue me. So, maybe Twelve didn’t take the ship.

But if not him, who did it? How often do you meet people and they act all good to just stab the crap out of you behind your back? After all she was the daughter of the man that wanted to rule all the galaxies.

But again, for what I witnessed and saw, she might be telling the truth about hurting her father because of her mother’s death. But there was no assurance to that. So, I couldn’t count on it.

“We need to leave,” he spoke looking at me as I caught my breath. Making sure my weapons were intact. Because we might just run into anyone here.
