Prof smith stood at the entrance of the warm house, his feet glued to the front of the door. Kris unlocked the door and invited him in with a bright smile but he shook his head at her, staying fixed at the entrance.

"You should at least stay for lunch, I need to show my appreciation" She said persuasively, but Prof smith smiled and shook his head again.

"Eric" she called him by his first name looking displeased.

"I'm sorry Kris, maybe another time. I have to get back to work" He said.

Insect, also Isaiah, passed his baby to his brother, smiling softly at him and then turned to Prof smith who still stood at the entrance of the door.

Isaiah cleared his throat awkwardly "Thank you for everything"

Prof smith smiled with his eyes and patted his left shoulder gently. "You should appreciate your aunt, she's a great mother for not giving up on you" Prof Smith said, turning his face at Kris to beam at her. She also smiled back.
