Chapter 9: Increase in cultivation.

Inside the cocoon, Lu Zhen's body was continuously being tempered, both internally and externally. Externally, Lu Zhen's muscles became more refined and durable, it was like he was being forged like a weapon. And if one looked closely at Lu Zhen's body, one would see golden inscriptions although feint. These inscriptions were all over his body, from his head and down to his toes. Every time Spiritual Qi was in contact with his body, the inscriptions would glitter with a golden lustre and this continued again and again without stopping.

Internally, Lu Zhen's internal as well as the five major organs underwent massive transformations. If anyone would disect Lu Zhen now, they would only see treasures. His heart was dark gold and also had inscriptions and the blood pumped also had a tint of gold in it. His lungs, kidneys liver, brain and everything else had turned into a dark gold colour with inscriptions all over.

As the brain turned dark gold, it increased Lu Zhen's senses and reaction. Making him have higher thought processes than most individuals. This also increased his comprehension abilities and fortified his mind. He would now be less vulnerable to illusions even though that was likely less to happen.

Lu Zhen used the Qi and the energy to further strengthen his body. His bones had also turned golden and their inscriptions were more feint, almost microscopic.

Lu Zhen's cultivation started increase, from the First stage of Body Tempering Realm to the Second, Third,...Although Lu Zhen was previously in the Seventh stage of Body Tempering Realm, he lost all his cultivation after killing himself, the blood essence had removed everything including his cultivation.

Lu Zhen's cultivation continued to soar until it reached the Ninth stage of Body Tempering Realm then stopped.

After a a minute or two,his cultivation soared again, from the First stage of Meridians Strengthening Realm to the Second, Third,...until it reached the peak of the Meridian Strengthening Realm. Lu Zhen's meridians were twenty times thicker and wider than how they usually are. If you were to compare them to a normal cultivator, it would be like comparing a page to a book. Meridians were also very important because they could act as life saving treasures in a battle of attrition.

He then proceeded to absorb the Qi cocoon into his meridians. The energy was already depleted from continuously tampering his internal organs. The cocoon then shrunk in size although not in a huge margin.

As days went by, the cocoon kept shrinking until one day, it disappeared. Everything returned to normal while Lu Zhen floated in the air with his eyes closed.

The elders ran to his chambers to look at what he did that caused such a phenomenon and once they opened the doors, they saw him floating in mid air with a deep and unfathomable aura. He suddenly opened his eyes and a golden light shot out from them which went straight for one of the elders. The elder's hairs stood on end like a provoked porcupine. He never felt death so close and before the light could kill him, a figure suddenly stood in front of him in a flash  and blocked the light.

The elders were dumbfounded, although the light was not extremely fast, it was fast enough to kill them before they could even react but Lu Zhen was faster than it. To them, it was an incredible feat.

Lu Zhen then turned to look at them, "What are you doing here? " He didn't think anyone would enter his room without permission, and only one two people were allowed inside which was his uncle and Xiaojian.

"I...We...Well, Young Master, a few days ago something happened. " they then explained the situation to him.

After listening to him, Lu Zhen told them to not worry about irrelevant things. The elders returned to what they were doing. Lu Zhen then checked himself to see if there's anything out of place. After checking for a while, Lu Zhen gave a satisfied smile. The results had exceeded his expectations. The inscriptions were the hardest to obtain since they required massive resources and Lu Zhen would need astronomical amounts of resources to improve them and make them more visible.

These inscriptions would benefit one greatly, from amplifying their power to helping in comprehending the Dao but it depended on which cultivation path you took since there were countless cultivation paths. These inscriptions could enlighten anyone depending on their cultivation technique. Body cultivators or in more sense Body Refiners could use these inscriptions to strengthen their body to unimaginable heights  and Sword cultivators could inscribe these inscriptions in their swords, Pill Refiners could inscribe their pill flames or cauldrons.

The inscriptions had many uses and more were yet to be uncovered since not a lot of people could obtain them and Lu Zhen should consider himself lucky.

"I guess it is possible if I have them. Lady luck is definitely on my side, HAHAHA. " Lu Zhen mumbled something before laughing out loud.

Lu Zhen then calmed himself down, closed his eyes and a moment later, he opened them again but they looked different. His eyes turned amber with black dots in them, they looked quite frightening. His eyes looked like those of lions, cold and indifferent. If anyone was looked at by Lu Zhen now, they would feel like prey in front of an apex predator.

Lu Zhen then put out his right hand and stimulated his bloodline.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

His hand or rather his palm started transforming, white fur could be seen growing  and his palm expanded and changed into a lion's paw. Lu Zhen then released his claws that were hidden within the paws and swung at the air

Whooh!

It sounded as if he was he was cutting the air or something but it was powerful. 'I wonder if I can transform my whole body? '
