Alaric acted as if he didn’t have a visitor. He stayed in his office and continued with his work. 

The old lady had waited for more than two hours, she was running out of patience. She went to the front desk and asked if her CEO is still busy.

“So arrogant and inhumane. He doesn’t even have pity for an old lady like me. Such a ruthless person.” The old lady complain bitterly.

“Sir the old lady is still waiting for you,” his personal assistant told him

“I know”, he replied coldly and continued with his work.

Two hours later Alaric told the old lady to come in.

When she got to the office, her face was blank with shock. 

“Alaric what are you doing here , are you a cleaner, and why are you sitting on the CEO's seat”.  She said with a mocking tone but her heart was in panic.

Alaric sat on the chair lazily and asked,” what do you think I’m doing here. Where did you want me to be?”

“Of course I’m expecting you to be on the street with tattered clothes. Get the hell out of here and call me your CEO!” the old commanded

“Your instincts tell you why I’m here but your heart refuse to accept it. You think it’s impossible for me to be here but you have forgotten time changes and humans are not God “he said coldly and smirk. 

“Old woman, my time is very precious, don’t waste it because you can’t afford even a second.”

The old lady was shaken, she shook her head and stumbled.

“How can it be, no impossible, Alaric is useless, how can he say I can’t afford a second of his time? I need to be strong, I shouldn’t let him see my weakness.”

Alaric watched the old lady expressionless but found it funny how the old lady is faking to be strong.  

She took in a deep breath and said , “Fine it will be much easier since you are the president. My company is in crisis and we were once  in-law's , you must help us after all we provided you with food and shelter. If you want your wife back ,well they are not yet married, you can always come back anytime and remarry her.” She said shamelessly without feeling any guilt.

“Ha! You are really shameless, I can’t waste my energy on you. Frederick!!”

“Take this shameless woman out of here, I don’t want to see her anywhere around this company again”

“Alaric you got the nerves to drive me away, have you forgotten how the Hans family took you in when you had no one. You should compensate the Hans family now  that you’ve make it. We have made you who you are today. If we had not driven you out of the house, would you have been in this position?”

“Ha! What kind of a woman are you , I have seen shameless people but I have never seen a person whose skin is as thick as the pig before. I will compensate you. I will make you loose your wealth little by little, you will know how suffering is .You will go back to your previous life. I Alaric will make all the members of that family live in hell.”

 Alaric said with a chilly voice. The old lady was astonished to see this side of him. She knew he was cold but didn’t know he was a ruthless man. How she wished she had treated him better. 

“Fredrick what are you still doing , drag her out. Remember what I said don’t let her in next time.”

Fredrick drove the old lady out.

“Old madam did the CEO said yes to our request.” her Personal  Assistant asked eagerly after she got home. Are you nuts , can’t you read from my facial expression that it wasn’t successful. This is all because of your foolishness and incompetency , how could ityou give me useless information without doing a background check on the CEO of the company before making me the go ahead to meet him. I got insulted all because of you fool  by that good for nothing useless boy. “

The old woman barked                                                                     “……. Mum could you calm down for once and tell us what exactly happened over there?”

 Mandi inquired.  

The old woman had no choice but to narrate what occurred between her and Alaric.          

“What!! Are you saying you met that pauper in the office of the CEO ,you actually went to the company to see their CEO right? Goodness and he even had the nerve to order for you to be thrown out? Mandi asked 

“No I went to see the cleaner of Brian’s company,  such a stupid question .Didn’t you hear what I just said, I’m telling you I met him as the CEO of the company and you’re here interrogating me instead of finding a solution to the problem at hand “

“Okay I get it that you’re angry but why are you venting your anger on me ? Not like I’m the cause of your problem. Is it my fault that you never treated him well or did I advise you to do so?  “she  scoffed.

“Did you treat him well? You are his wife did he ever touch even your hair. You fool, you could have treated him well, he would have help us for your sake.”

 The old woman scolded Mandi.

“ There is a grand party tomorrow at the Brian’s mansion. The old man will be celebrating his birthday. Mandi prepare, you will be attending the party with me , we got an invite, put on your sexy dress, look beautiful and try to seduce Alaric. I will arrange everything, you need to make him impregnate you. Let see how he will ignore his son. 

“Grandma, what about the Mills family, everyone know we are getting engaged the day after the party. Alaric was very handsome and now he is rich. He is now every woman's dream. It will be a great honor if I become the Brian’s mistress. The problem is how do we explain to the Mills family.”
