Chapter 8 He is mine

The next day, Mandi made preparation towards the party.

She put on her best dress, she was like a vixen whom no one could take his eyes of. She had round face with sexy eyes. Her Coca-Cola’s shape with her slender legs makes you want to look at her twice. The driver drove him to the Brian mansion.  

When she got to the party, the men were drooling on her while the ladies were jealous of her beauty. She was satisfied with the result.

“No man could take his eyes of me, with my beauty Alaric would fall for me. There is no need to seduce him.”

Few minutes later a godlike figure got out of the car. He was Soo handsome, he was tall and well built. He has a sexy eyes with a pointed nose. His skin was very pale that you could almost see yourself in it.

“Damn it,! This man is going to snatch our girls, said one of the male guest.”

“Wow he is so handsome, I don’t think he is from this planet. 

I think he wasn’t born by a woman, he was molded.

He is so perfect.

How I wish he could have been my boyfriend, I would have locked him in a room.”

The ladies fantasize on him.

 Mandi was chatting with her friends, she realized they were not paying attention to her. She followed their gaze. 

“Oh my gosh I never knew this guy is very handsome. Aww wow why didn’t I see how handsome he is when he was my husband. Hmm Alaric let the girls drool on you, very soon you are going to be mine and no one can take you away from me,” She said with smirk.

“Mandi have you seen him before. Wow Mandi if he were to propose to you, would you have cancelled your engagement? Mandi why are you lost in your thoughts?” she tap her shoulders.

“ Sorry I was a little distracted, what were you saying,” she came back to her senses.

“Never mind, the MC is on stage, let’s listen to what he has to say,” said her friend.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have all gathered here in one accord to celebrate the old master of the Brian’s family. Let’s give him a round of applause as we invite him to the stage.

“Good evening ladies and gentlemen, it my great honor to celebrate this happy day with you. I am really blessed today as I have found my grandson Alaric Brian. I would like him to come on stage.

Alaric walked to the stage. All eyes were on him.

 

This is my grandson Alaric Brian the son of Reagan Brian, he is also the new CEO of Brian’s company. Please you all should guide him as he just took over the company.”

The people clapped and were all whispering.

He looked through the crowd and guess what???

He met Mandi’s hot gaze but there was no emotion in his eyes.

“Gosh why is he staring at me like a stranger.

She smiled at him but all she got was cold stare.

He has become as  cold as ice after he inherited his family business”.

“Why must grandfather give the company to a stranger, we have lived with him for decades but he just chose someone who abandoned his family and fled with his lover's son.  What’s so good about him.” Alaric’s Uncle said with deep hatred.

“I  will make this boy disappear. The company belongs to my son. He shall follow his father’s lead. Nobody can take away what belongs to me.” His aunt murmured with a wicked smile. 

Every body went to congratulate Alaric, people wanted to befriend him, some wanted to lick his boot. Seeing how the people  were trying hard to gain his favor, he was a little hurt.

People didn’t respect him when he had nothing. They treated him like trash. He reminisce how he was treated in the Hans family. 

He promised to take revenge on every living soul who made life difficult for him.

The party was still ongoing. A servant whom the old lady has incited gave him a glass of juice. He took it without any delay because he was thirsty.

 He startedfeeling uneasy so he told Fredrick to drive him to the nearest hotel. Alaric has never felt comfortable in  the old mansion, he can see most of his family don’t like him so he doesn’t get along with them. He would rather spend the night in a  hotel than spending the night with the family. 

“ Fredrick drive faster,” he roared to his personal assistant. Fredrick almost collided his car into someone when he heard him roar like that.
