Eren became Chairman

"These are files of all financial accounts which you have to audit," William replied and called one blonde woman inside," And she's Clara, your secretary. Clara, greet your boss."

Fixing her glasses on her nose, she bowed down giving full view of her blossoms. Eren turned his face awkwardly towards William and asked again,"Why do I have to audit all the files?I have college to attend."

"Yes, as the new chairman of Robertson group it's one of your duties," William replied with a wicked smile and before Eren could ask anything further,he disappeared leaving him alone with Clara.

"Boss, you don't have to worry about these. I'll handle all your work," She assured and scooped all the files in her hands.

Getting seated on her chair, she started with the work while Eren stood there wondering why he got stuck with some woman. To increase his headache, Sophia entered inside his office with a gift box.

"Hey, Eren. Our meeting was such a coincidence that now you are my clan's master," she said, placing the gift box on his desk.

"Yeah how annoying."

Eren sighed and sat down on his chair. He scrolled through g****e news on his phone and found out that he was trending all over the internet. News of him becoming the new patriarch of the Robertson clan was going viral. His photos were shared with three elders of the clan. The news channels were panicking with the Robertson clan's young Patriarch. It was something unexpected.

Then he saw William Robertson giving interviews. The opposition clans were busy criticising the elders of Robertson clan for crowning a young boy like Eren as their new Master. Eren clenched his fingers around his phone before Sophia grabbed it and explained,"Eren, our media management team will handle the scandalous posts and comments. You don't need to mind those people's words."

"You are wrong. I want to know about the spreading rumours," he replied, looking cluelessly at Sophia.

"Huh?" She reacted, feeling embarrassed. She decided to change the topic and said,'' How about taking a tour of the estate?"

Pointing at the device in Sophia's hand, Eren said,"Return back my phone."

She quickly puts his phone down on his desk and apologises. Eren didn't pay attention to her and started reading the news headlines. And as he had thought, the news about him using the Dark spell was mentioned in the report.

People were posting questions on forums about how someone from the Robertson clan was capable of using Dark magic? Dark magic and its spells were forbidden in this world. It was taboo to even mention it. Massaging his forehead , Eren murmured,"I wasn't aware that the book had all types of magic spells. I should have read the details under the spell because casting it..."

He then summons the attribute tabs and opens the information board of the Book of spells which he had bought from the system's shop.

' Then how was I able to read the spells?' Eren thought. His question went unnoticed and the attribute tabs disappeared.

"I will have to read the details of spells before casting it," Eren frowned.

"W-What did you say? You casted Dark spell without even knowing about it?" Sophia overheard his words.

"You can say that. I'm not well versed in recognising the different types of spells."

After hearing Eren's careless remark, Sophia covered her mouth with her palms in shock. She has never heard something like that. How could someone cast a spell without knowing about its type and damage power?But the important question now was how many types of magic spells could Eren cast?

Mustering up her courage she bluntly asked," What is your core mana ability?"

"Means?" Eren reacted.

"I mean like grandfather Mash is capable of using gravity manipulation spells. What's yours?"

Thinking for a moment he indifferently replied," I can cast all types of magic spells. Be it gravity manipulation or Dark magic spells."

Well technically that's his skill according to the system. Sophia's eyes widened in surprise as she got close to him and whispered near his ear," Are you trying to impress your beautiful secretary by lying about your abilities as the clan's master?"

"What? Have you lost your sense of understanding?" Eren got irritated by her stupid assumptions.

Sophia gets back to her place and sarcastically comments," Then accept it that you're Dark Mage."

His limits of tolerance reached its peak. He got up , grabbed Sophia's wrist and pulled her close.

"Listen girl, I have no time to waste on your stupid questions. I can do the same thing I did with your cousin Ryness," he paused, staring down at her coldly and said further," So try to stay out of my business as much as possible. I give no fuck about you or anyone in this family."

Sophia's eyes overwhelmed with tears as she witnessed the merciless personality of Eren. Getting herself free from his strong grasp, she leaves the office hurriedly. Clara who was watching all this felt the shivers down her spines. She hastily buttoned up her shirt, covering her exposed chest. She gave up on the idea of seducing the master of Robertson clan.

"Clara, bring me the family registry of the Robertson clan," Eren ordered, getting seated on his chair.

Clara was quick enough to bring the registry of family. Placing it in front of Eren, she started reading out the names of members mentioned.

"Johnathan Robertson, first master of the clan. Under his regime the clan grew stronger and was recognised as one of the powerful clans in the country. He had three sons and no daughters."

"What about the family history before Mr Johnathan?" Eren questioned.

"T-That is not recorded since the generation before Great Master Johnathan were not powerful and influential in the upper class society."

Eren nodded and asked Clara to continue with the introduction. She further mentioned Mash Robertson, the eldest son of Johnathan. He was also a fiery master like his father and brought glory to the clan.

"But his son Carlos Robertson turned into a spoiled rich young man. He used to spend millions on brothels and even had illegitimate children with one of his mistresses," Clara paused as she turned the page.

"Elder Mash has to be personally involved in his son's affairs. Mr Carlos's credit cards and bank balance were sealed and he was ordered to marry the selected bride. The illegitimate child adopted and was given the name of family while the mistress was assassinated."

"And I guess Ryness was that illegitimate grandson of elder Mash," Eren chuckled.

"Elder Ateez was chosen as the new master of the clan because the spoiled brat Carlos was not worthy of becoming the master of serpent beasts."

"Yes, you are right Master," Clara's eyes sparked in admiration.

She further explained how Ateez's only daughter Roxanne was about to become new master of the clan but suddenly she went missing. After one year, her body was found in a rotten state near the Robertson clan's great estate.

"That's tragic. Is that why elder Ateez has no grandkids?" Eren expressed his sadness for Ateez because he was the only knowledgeable member in the family.

"Yes, elder Ateez was deeply broken by his daughter's death. He tried every possible way to find out the culprit, but till this date her death is a mystery."

"What about elder William and his sons?" Eren changed the topic since he was more curious about his father's details.

Turning the page, Clara replied," Elder William was about to become new master but the clan's serpent beasts refused to make him one. His youngest son was physically weak and incapable too."

" What about his eldest son Xavier Robertson? Why aren't you talking about him?" Eren asked, getting anxious.

"T-That's forbidden," she stuttered, trying to hide her fear.

"I'm not asking you but ordering you to tell me about my father."

Clara noticed the anger building up in her Boss, she quickly turned pages of the registry, searching the information on Xavier Robertson but there were no details under his name. Eren takes the registry from her hands and sees the torn pages.

"They must have torn the pages which included the introduction of my father," Eren sighed, closing the book.

Seeing her Boss depressed Clara decided to help him out as much as she can to gain favour. She doesn't want to lose her job in any way.

"B-Boss, my father can tell you about young master Xavier Robertson as he was his secretary."

"How can I meet your father?" Eren was desperate to know about his father.
