Chapter Sixty-One

Linda's phone began to ring again, and she looked down at it and hissed after. The ringing continued for a while and stopped. She sighed when the ringtone went down and stretched out on her bed.

She had been in her room the whole day, trying to avoid everyone. She was aware of the fact that she was supposed to be at the office and not lying here sulking like her whole life depended on it.

She sniffled in and wiped her nose as she sighed out in relief. She thought that the call wouldn't come in again. Maybe Richard had decided to let her be. Maybe he had finally realized that she didn't want to talk to him and had allowed it to sink into his head.

She tried to close her eyes and sleep when her phone began to ring again. Linda hissed loudly as she grabbed the phone and quickly pressed the power button. She didn't want to hear the phone ring, and she also didn't care about it ringing silently.
