Chapter 11: The Breles city investigation
Crowds of people could be seen on the street, walking around the markets, stalls, and many more. It was still broad daylight, with the sun at its zenith. A cloudless sky reigned upwards while winds blew gently, this was the season of summer, it gave high temperatures to most places which made heavy labor work and especially farming rather difficult under the rays of the sun. Inside of a certain shop, a middle aged man grunted angrily while he stared at a particular few customers. Two young girls and a weird looking young man in tow. The three of them had been disturbing him ever since they had walked into his shop with their endless questions. "Like I said, a lot of children have been missing but that is a usual thing in the slums! Who cares about those stinking, poor rats? I have no one nor anything to feel suspicions of!" bellowed the middle aged man in an annoyed tone. "Come on, old Bobby. You are always the one who is interested in gossips like this the most. My friends here n

Chapter 12: The Underground.
In the middle of the night, Mon’Ter stood before the opened entrance of a staircase which led beneath the city. The reality of the fact that Elyenora was already inside was still sinking in, as he wondered. ‘Why did she go down without me? Is she safe...?” A bit worried over the prospect that his new found companion might be in danger among the people they’d call enemies down there. Mon’Ter quickly rushed down the staircase with high speed, his visage having the semblance of a shadow. ‘Need to catch up to her... Could be bad...’ Mon’Ter thought, running down to the bottom of the excessively long staircase and into a wide maze. This underground maze was nearly fifty meters down beneath the surface, which seemed like an overkill even to Mon’Ter who didn’t understand much about these things like underground hideouts or cities and their buildings. The walls of the dark hallways were old and mossy, many cracks showed to have spread across each surface over the long years since

Chapter 13: Elyenora's side.
Approximately Ten hours ago, before Mon’Ter stumbled onto the large room inside of the underground hideout. … Mon’Ter had just left in search of clues on his own, he had wanted to help contribute somehow since all he had been doing till then was just walk along together with the two girls, Elyenora and Shana. After he told them that he’d go look around, his visage quickly vanished among the crowds and the two girls went on along their own way. Shana had advised they go visit one of the shadier people among the brokers, it was a ways away from where they stood now however within an hour or so they managed to reach their destination. They walked down a few old murky alleyways which got progressively dirtier the more they walked through them, in the end it led them to a cover made out of some old dark red rags made of fur. Upon moving past the cover, Elyenora and Shana stumbled onto a small clearing between the city buildings. There seemed to be a small market place here, with a de

Chapter 14: The Red Night of Bliss
Having spent the better half of her time waiting for the clock to hit ten around food stalls, Elyenora had a happy smile on her face as she chewed on some barbecue skewers. ‘It’s almost ten o’clock now, I should head towards the red-light district.’ Elyenora thought, munching on the last part of her food as she shifted her gaze towards the turning streets. The night had already fallen and many magical street lights had begun shining to illuminate the surroundings, the crowds around the main streets lessened significantly however the absence of people didn’t last long. After walking for a while across the streets, Elyenora finally entered the red-light district which was filled with its many night time activities. The people there were once more abundant and there was a bountiful number of loosely dressed women vying for the attention of the passing men, seeing them as potential customers. Walking through the thick crowds, she hummed in a low tone since she was pleased at th

Chapter 15: Blood Contract
“T-The crown...?” Nadia stuttered, shock filling her visage. Why wouldn’t she be shocked? Elyenora was not only the second born, but also a princess. So how could she possibly dream of taking the crown for herself? “Yes, the crown. Due to some circumstances my brother cannot be allowed to officially ascend to the throne, he cannot be crowned.” Elyenora spoke in a determined voice. “W-What do you mean?” Nadia questioned, the situation having risen by several dozen levels. “Let’s just say that he would make for a terrible ruler.” Elyenora answered, pushing the contract paper closer to Nadia. “Go ahead, read it.” “Okay then...” Nadia said, grabbing the paper while trying to regain her composure. ‘Is this woman nuts...? How does she ever plan on taking over the kingdom?! Is that why she’s travelling alone...?’ Nadia thought as she carefully read through the contract. Nothing was wrong with it, Elyenora would help her ascend to the position of city lord by killing her father

Chapter 16: The Raid begins
The raid assault group which had been formed from Nadia’s endeavors and Elyenora’s ‘light’ push now numbered seventeen people, they all had good equipment on them and gazes that radiated with confidence. While walking down the steep staircase that slowly lost any semblance of light which the moon had been providing, Melissa raised her finger and wrote a couple of Runes in the air. Shortly after, a ball of light shone and moved in front of the group, acting as a sort of lantern for them in the dark. “Nice spell Melissa, definitely beats using torches.” Trygg, the leader of the knight group commented. “Yeah, and it paints us as a big bright target in these dark hallways.” Jorky added with an annoyed tone. “So, you’d rather we trip over holes and stones or smash our heads in walls? Get ambushed from the dark from missing a turn filled with enemies? Yeah, no thank you.” Melissa countered, sneering at the comment. “Just stay on guard at all times, we need to be ready for anything.” El

Chapter 17: Assassin's guild strikes back
During the combat against the remaining seven enemies, three knights each occupied one assassin, pushing them back long enough for someone else to swoop in and decimate them. Three such cases ended with Drull, Siya and Jorky ending an assassin each. The other four fell at the hand of Elyenora and Trygg, three to the princess and one to the knight leader supported by arrows. It was a swift victory despite facing powerful adversaries. “Booyah!” Jorky exulted excitedly. “Good job everyone, nice fight!” Trygg heaved, wiping some sweat off his forehead. “These guys are from the assassin’s guild, no wonder they were so tough.” Drull commented. “Aye, but we got em good!” “Assassins or not we showed them who’s boss!” “Ain’t nothing like a good ol’ round of team work, ey guys?” Some of the knights bantered, proud of the achievement. Assassin guild members were no joke, their speed and agility in combat is second to none amongst the other factions, they’re feared as silent killers tha

Chapter 18: Raid Party VS Hired Assassins
Elyenora held the emerald orb in her free hand, looking over the battle as she did so. Eight of the peak Rare Class assassins were currently battling against eight of the knights as well as Trygg, Jorky, Siya and Drull. Two knights faced off against one assassin while the aforementioned four fought one each. “What’s that supposed to be?” The short assassin with the jagged dagger asked. Elyenora gave no reply, simply firmly grasping the orb and readying herself to use it by pouring her magic power into it. Despite that however, she was abruptly stopped by the assassin leader who rushed towards her at top speed. He pulled out a pair of twin daggers, their blades were as black as night and seemed to have a black shadow like line going along their edges, the assassin leader slung them both in quick succession towards Elyenora’s vitals. “Tsk!” Clicking her tongue, Elyenora could only move her free hand to the side along with the orb as she blocked the man’s attack with her rapier.

Chapter 19: Last One Standing
“A berserker you say?” Jerrion mused, seeming to have gotten excited. “I haven’t fought one of that ilk in quite a while! Bring it on, you bald bastard!” He bellowed as he entered his stance. “Bald this, bald that... Are you all this unoriginal up in the assassin’s guild? You cockatrice sh*t stained rat?” Jorky roared, pointing his axe at the assassin. “Drull,” He gazed to the side, “Go ahead, I’ll murder the F*** outta this guy!” Nodding his head, Drull replied, “I’ll hold you to it then, be sure to survive this Jorky.” He said and ran towards Siya and Elyenora. “Heh, I’ll be needing some booze after this one, so you’d better be paying Drull...” Jorky murmured, swallowing the berserker pill while Jerrion waited in anticipation. The berserker pill was practically considered to be a poisonous substance that winds up putting anyone who swallows it at a severe risk, only the most clinically insane individuals would dare to even consider it as an option, those who do use it are always

Chapter 20: Elyenora's battle
Elyenora’s wind covered visage brought fear unto the assassins, even the Noble Class Leonard had to admit this was above his capabilities to handle. This girl who had a wounded leg could move this quickly? This is already bordering on the higher ends of Noble class... To put her speed into perspective, the words, “You’re next.” only sounded when Elyenora had already appeared before Crux with her rapier pulled back and ready to pierce through the short assassin. Crux tried to counter by putting his dagger in front of Elyenora’s trajectory, however after a few strikes his small blade shattered to pieces. He, much like Leonard, had been using a Dwarven crafted weapon with a rather disturbing enchantment that made people blow up into bloody puddles upon contacting it, despite that Elyenora’s blade was far superior in all terms when compared to it. Korgen, the head blacksmith of Benulis kingdom’s royal court, was no short of a miracle worker even amongst dwarves after all. His crafts w
