Chapter 11 : The End?
[THE BOSS HAS APPEARED!] The skeleton had an arch back and was short just like every other goblin Arthur saw. The skeleton had a dark robe covering it and a wooden stick that looked like a tree branch in its right hand. CLACK CLACK The skeleton moved its mouth as if it was trying to say something but the only thing Arthur could hear was the clacking sound that came from the skeleton’s mouth. “Status.”_______________________________[MOB STATUS][CURRENT STATUS: NONE][NAME: UNDEAD GOBLIN MAGE][JOB: MAGE][RACE: GOBLIN][LVL:2][HP:20/20][MP:30/30][SPEED: 1][AGILITY: 2][STRENGTH: 1][STAMINA:1][DEFENCE:1][DESCRIPTION: TALENTED GOBLIN MAGE.]_______________________________[SKILLS][PASSIVE(NONE)][MAGIC:999+][ADVANCE BLACK MAGIC: SSS+]_______________________________ “Amazing…a skeleton goblin mage…but is this even a stat of a boss?Seems pretty weak to me.”Arthur immediately dashed towards the goblin mage and attempted to throw a punch to destroy the goblin boss and finish

Chapter 12 : Only A Hammer?
Death. An unexperienceable experience for the living. Many think that you would be void of any consciousness or feeling. Some believe that your soul goes to a place higher and greater than the land of the living, the believers of hell and heaven. And there are the ones who fear death believing that death would be darkness while your consciousness still exists to suffer and regret your memories for eternity. Arthur was a believer in heaven and hell. ‘Nothing, I feel nothing. I see nothing. I know nothing.’ There was no darkness, no color, no sensation. He wasn’t breathing, but he wasn’t choking. He could feel that he was moving, it was not his body that was moving, only his soul. “Arthur, wake up.” A familiar voice said. Suddenly he could feel his heart beating, and the need to breathe existed. He breathed in and out heavily, opened his eyes widely, and stood up. “I died?” “You did die. But don’t be scared, for you are now alive.” The tutorial staff said. Arthur looked around but

Chapter 13 : Magic?
In front of the red portal, Arthur stood. So far, non-humans and a small number of humans have been the only ones to enter the red portal. The vast majority of humans who entered the solo portal did not appear normal to Arthur; they appeared "ancient" and spoke strangely. They also appeared to be knowledgeable about ancient warfare and non-modern weaponry. “Bah! "I'm overanalyzing everything!" He thought. He didn't want to get carried away and endanger himself. "For the time being, let's concentrate on this." Without hesitation, he entered the portal. He felt the same way he did when he passed through the previous portals: cool and minty. “Hooo, this sensation never gets old.” He was now on the other side of the portal. And the second tutorial was not what he initially expected. He thought that he would enter another cave or something similar, but this place was more normal than he expected. 'This looks like an old hotel.’ Arthur knew that this place was similar to a hotel that

Chapter 14 : A Cursed Tale
(A/N : This story might be scary. And there a lot of dead bodies.) “Hot! Hot! Hot! Ahhh! ” Arthur got burned while playing with the fire he had just made. ‘I still can’t believe it... actual magic... Arthur had always wanted to be a magician, but he never imagined he'd be able to do so. “But what am I supposed to do now?” Arthur now had the fire, but what should he do with it? He looked at the paper again and lit a fire near it. An image of a door appeared on the paper unexpectedly. He approached a door and used fire to warm the doorknob. CLICK! The doorknob made a noise as if the door had been unlocked. When he opened the door, he found himself in a simple room. There was a single bed, a dressing table, and a cabinet in the room. Arthur flipped a switch on a nearby wall. ‘Fluorescent light?’ Arthur could hear the buzzing sound made by the light. The light revealed the imperfections of the room. The room was disorganized and dusty. He looked around the room and discovered a

Chapter 15: Nightmare Ending
Arthur walked towards the next door and unlocked it by warming the doorknob just like he did with the previous door. It was a room that looked like a storage room. It had a shotgun with ammo. Arthur immediately recognizes the shotgun model. “A Remington 870!" Arthur picked it up slowly and safely, practicing basic gun safety protocol as a good Amerigon should. But that was it. There was only one shotgun and boxes of 12 gauge shells. He put all of that equipment into his inventory and went on to the next room. But the door wouldn’t budge. When he melted the handle, it revealed a keyhole that could not be melted anymore by his magical flames. He went on to the fourth room and found a bathroom with nothing but a small hand-held mirror on the floor. [MEMORY GLASS] [DESCRIPTION: RECALLS EVERY PART OF THE MOMENTS OF THE TIME RECORDED.] “I don't get it.” No matter how many times Arthur read the description, he couldn’t figure out how to use the mirror. Until he realized that the mirr

Chapter 16: Class Change
The humanoids that were gathering around Arthur were bigger, and their mana count was so high that Arthur could see the blue-ish gas that mana would manifest around these people. They were all similar in strength to the previous titan that scouted him. “LET ME THROUGH!” A titan shouted, pushing everyone that stood in his way like nothing. “We came too late!” "That dang 14th titan of strength is stealing another talent!" “Magni Quoatdasha! I came here first! You’re not going to take him from me, are you? ” A strong human that looked like a character that came straight from a Chinese martial arts film. “HAHAHA! Chong-Yol! Are you trying to scout someone 2 ranks above you? ” Magni laughed. ‘Ah, so he is Pu Chong-Yol, the third-ranked human... ’ Arthur caught a glimpse of his name while checking the human rankings. “Rankings don’t matter! I, the Flame Dragon of Murim, can’t be defeated only by being outranked! ” Chong-Yol said. Chong-Yol then turned to Arthur, “Arthur, the great t

Chapter 17: A Hopeful Dwarf
Everyone arrived on the first floor almost simultaneously. When Arthur arrived, he recognized the young man he had seen in the first tutorial cave. “Sir! I made it through and passed all of the tutorials, as you requested! "Can I now follow you?" The young man asked. ‘Crap! I didn't think he'd pass the tutorial!' "Uh, sure, sure. Just don't forget to be safe when following me. ” Arthur promised the man that if he passed the tutorial, he would let him follow him, and since the man had done just that, he couldn't go back on his word. “Of course, sir!” The youngster followed Arthur from behind. “By the way, my name is Billy! Billy Murray! ” "Nice to meet you, Billy," Arthur said, not looking at him. He was so preoccupied with his thoughts that he didn't realize Billy was speaking to him. "You appear to be very popular here, Sir!" "Uh, it's a long story." "You'll figure it out eventually," said Arthur As Arthur looked back to talk to Billy, he saw people staring at him and approa

Chapter 18: A Useful Ally
“What the…” Arthur wasn’t expecting to meet one of his father’s allies this early. ‘This is bad…’ Arthur realized that his father’s allies were the ones that plotted the betrayal of his father. ‘This dwarf might be one of the traitors. “This picture was taken when you decided to climb to the second floor… At that time, the tower was in its Beta 2 version, and you were the last of the Beta 1 players who started climbing. You were a coward too… Who would have thought that the kid who would sweep floors and work as a cook to survive would eventually complete the tower and come back to repeat the whole process!” The dwarf said to Arthur. ‘This dwarf…’ Arthur looked at his movements and the way he spoke. ‘I dont think he is one of those traitors. ’ Arthur concluded. The way the dwarf looked at him was like how a loving father would look at his son. {It seems that you have met the old dwarf Odal. He will be a useful ally. He is not the best blacksmith, but he is talented nonetheless.}

Chapter 19: Panic In The 30th Floor
“Cheers!” The 30th floor Behemoth Guild headquarters higher-ups were celebrating the 71st anniversary of their guild. But they were also there to celebrate their extension of power thanks to the new players that had just arrived in the tower. As the biggest guild in the tower, they would naturally get most of the players on their side to help them reach the end of the tower. But their celebration was quickly interrupted by a sudden mana hologram that appeared above them. And in the hologram was the elven manager of the 10th floor. “Eroan! Hahaha! What do you have to tell us? Do you have good news about recruiting the players?” An old bearded man with a cloak laughed. But Eroan was looking depressed and worried. “I have bad news, Mastria Gilbert… Arthur has returned, The Behemoth has returned…” (A/N: Mastria has the same meaning as Magus and Mage.) “Hahaha, I knew you would bring us goo- wait what???” Mastria Gilbert yelled. Everyone in the room who was celebrating a few seconds ag

Dear readers, I will have a short break of two days. I will have my car examination and will have to focus on it for a while. I also have multiple tasks I must complete during that short break. And although I don't have many readers (yet), I'm still sorry for the inconsistent upload rate and will strive to do better after the break. I will also start stockpiling chapters just in case I need to take breaks in the future, so rest assured that you won't be seeing many breaks after this. Also thank you for reading my novel, It means the world to me. Sincerely, ChadGuy45.
