*Unknown Location* “How the hell did you guys know?” yelled a man, grabbing Mitsubishi’s collar with both hands. “Yang Xiao’s gut,” Mitsubishi replied. “He has a very good gut when it comes to danger.” “Do you expect us to believe that?” yelled the man again. “Tell us are you spies?” “You are a dumbass. We saved your live, all your lives and you question if we are spies?” Mitsubishi asked with a frown. Dozens of people around kept quiet as he continued. “Tell me, do you even understand what happened there? Do any of you?” No one responded. They couldn’t comprehend what happened. Was it a trap? If so why did their enemies get caught in it? It just didn’t add up. Mitsubishi forcefully freed himself from the man’s grip. With a sigh he faced Yang Xiao who laid unconscious on the floor. ‘Don’t worry, I’ll protect you,’ he said in his head. “In any case we are alive,” a feminine voice said. Everyone turned to the owner of the voice, a red hair lady sitting on a large roc

‘What’s on your mind?’ Taeyang asked. ‘Your mood is affecting mine.’ He brushed Yinyue’s hair while staring at the vortex before him. His ticket out of here stared at him in the face, yet he had no way of getting to it. ‘Ah,’ Hiroshi sighed. ‘I’m wondering how powerful is the one who turned the Lost world into a prison.’ Taeyang brushed Yinyue’s hair in silence as Hiroshi continued. ‘He/she must be powerful and well versed in the law of space.’ ‘Law of space?’ Taeyang asked. ‘Don’t worry about it for now. You are far too early for laws,’ replied Hiroshi. ‘Okay.’ ‘By the way can you feel that pulling force around you?’ Hiroshi asked. ‘Pulling force?’ ‘Yeah, the one that’s been pulling energy towards you.’ ‘I don’t sense it,’ Taeyang said as he closed his eyes. For a few minutes he sensed his surroundings. ‘I don’t sense anything.’ ‘I see. That space is pulling energy towards you. It’s a good thing but it could be dangerous,’ Hiroshi said. ‘We’ll let i

*Three Weeks Later* “Yes! Yes!” Mitsubishi yelled as he got on his feet. “Yang Xiao, I’ve reached the peak like you. Huh?” To his surprised Yang Xiao stood at a far end of the cave studying the array. Too focused, he had not heard a word Mitsubishi had said. He muttered some words to himself as he jolts than on a book with an ink brush. Mitsubishi walked up to him. “What are you doing?” “My goodness!” Yang Xiao yelled. “You scared me.” “What are you doing?” Mitsubishi asked again while glancing at the book. “Huh? Oh, I’m studying the array,” Yang Xiao replied. “Why not cultivate and get to…” “With the amount of Qi here I can break through to the Core formation, but it’s not safe here. If I end up attracting others that won’t be good,” Yang Xiao said. “That’s true.” “Besides, with a good material like this my attainment in the dao of arrays will increase by leaps and bounds,” said Yang Xiao with a big smile and great joy in his heart. “I just need to unders

“Yinyue wait!”Taeyang shot up to stop her, however he was a second late. She had taken action. Her palm landed on the man’s chest. “Ahh,” he gasped and spat out black blood. “Stay still,” Yinyue ordered and placed both hands on his wounds.“This…” Taeyang muttered. The temperature dropped and Yinyue’s eyes turned completely white. Visible white energy flowed into his body. “Ahh,” the man screamed. “DON’T FIGHT IT,” Yinyue said. Her voice echoed and shook the cave room. Taeyang fell to his knees unable to withstand it. ‘Cover your ears,’ Hiroshi ordered. The man bit his lower lips until it bled. “Ahh,” he grunted when Yinyue took her back. Several black centipedes crawled out of his wound. They dissolved into a black liquid as soon as they fell to the ground. The man’s wound was sealed by ice. ‘Did she?’ Taeyang asked‘She did,’ Hiroshi replied. Her eyes returned to normal. She took a deep breath and exhaled. “I got most of it out,” she said. “The rest shouldn’t be a problem for

BOOM! The cave shook and dust rose. Yinyue raised a brow. “Boss Shen,” she heard one of the men say. When the dust settled she found a yellow dome had block the attack. And standing before the three men was their leader, boss Shen. “A giant centipede?” he muttered and tightened his grip on a yellow orb. “Is it a guardian beasts?” “Taeyang, that man’s realm is higher than mine,” Yinyue said. “He is at the core formation realm,” Yang Xiao said. “What about the others?” Taeyang asked. “Same as mine,” she replied. “What about him?” Taeyang asked pointing at Yang Xiao. “We are on the same realm,” he looked at Taeyang and said. “Overwhelm him with numbers,” Taeyang instructed. “Okay.” “What’s your name again?” Taeyang turned to Yang Xiao. “Huh?” Yang Xiao paused as dozens of horned rats appeared. They charged at the yellow dome and smashed their body into it. As soon as they made contact they shatter to pieces and disappeared. Dozens after dozens appeared and did the

Taeyang felt his neck turn cold. A sudden chill ran down his spine. ‘No!’ his heart screamed. ‘It’s over. I… I didn’t fulfill my promise.’‘What did hell are you saying?’ Hiroshi’s voice sounded. ‘Attack him before he does!’‘Huh?’ Taeyang frowned. “This…” To his surprise, his entire body was covered in in a layer of sturdy ice armor. Boss Shen’s sword had struck with all its might, but it was stuck… unmoving.“What the hell is this?” Boss Shen snarled, yanking his sword out. His body glowed a bright yellow, the light running into his sword. ‘Why aren’t you moving?’ Hiroshi asked.‘Because I can’t,’ Taeyang shot back. Faster than he could react, something tore through the air past Taeyang, leaving a hiss behind. The next instance, an ice spear struck Boss Shen in the chest. The force pushed him back, his feet barely able to remain standing. Blood streamed from his lips, it felt warm. Slowly, he lifted his head… and there she stood.Yinyue.Right hand stretched, fingertips tremblin

-Two Weeks Later- Yinyue raised her brow, confused by the unfamiliar environment. “Taeyang?” she called out as she sat up. Jumping out of the bed she landed on the floor and scanned the entire room. Neat, but almost empty with only a mat at one end and a blue box at another. “Taeyang!” She said excitedly as the door opened. “Huh? You…”The unfamiliar face killed her excitement. “Oh, you are awake?” said the young girl that stepped in. In her hands, a bowl water with a white cloth in it. Little steam floated out of the bowl. She flashed Yinyue a bright smile and said, “hold on I’ll let elder brother and senior brother know.”Yinyue raised a brow at her words. She watched her rushed out the room after placing the bowl down. “Who is she?” she muttered and stepped out the room. The air around her became cold. Each exhale came with cold smoke. The sun smiled at her and a sturdy tree waved its leaves at her. “Where am I?” She found herself in a small compound. “Yinyue!” Taeyang voice ma

Taeyang’s breath narrowed. “We are surrounded,” he said. Figures peeled from both ends of the alley. “Fighting among disciples is prohibited, that is the sect rule,” Yang Xiao said.“Who give a damn about the sect’s rules?!” a lady snarled from behind. “My brother died because of you spy!”“The sect master and elders have confirmed I am no spy. Do you question their judgement?” Yang Xiao turned and asked. ‘There’s six of them around us and two at each of the entrance. They are looking out,’ Taeyang counted. Three before them and three behind, Taeyang and Yang Xiao had nowhere to run to. “I don’t care what they say! You are spy!” a bald man roared.“Why are you guys talking with them? We just kill them and that’s it!” another said and drew out his sword. “My son will only be at peace when these spies die.”‘Four top-tier and two peak,’ Taeyang gauged their ranks. ‘What a hassle?’ he sighed. Chains snapped out of the void and wrapped both his hands. Two blades appeared at the same t

*** “Taeyang, Yinyue,” Yang Xiao called out as he rushed into the room. “Is everything okay?” Taeyang asked. Yang Xiao took a moment to catch his breath. “We need to leave now!” he yelled. Xue Yue stepped into the room. “What’s going on?” she asked. “Senior Wu saw Taeyang when he equipped the blades,” Yang Xiao replied. “And he doesn’t believe the ice wall was a talisman.” “Shit!” Taeyang got up. “We need to leave the sect. Xue Yue…” “I’ll get the things we need,” Xue Yue interrupted Yang Xiao and rushed out of the room. “Yinyue, how far away from you can your creatures go?” Yang Xiao turned to Yinyue and asked. “Why do you ask?” “We need a distraction, a big one!” “I see. Are damages allowed?” she asked. “Yes, the bigger the commotion the better,” he replied. Yinyue nodded. She took a deep breath, closed eyes and exhaled. When her eyes opened, they were completely white. “Senior brother, I’ve gotten everything we…” Xue Yue paused as soon as she entered the r

“OH, YOU ARE FINALLY FREE.”A voice echoed in Yinyue’s head. “Ah.” She placed her hand on her head, grunting. “Who are you?” she asked. “DON’T WORRY ABOUT THAT. FOR NOW, GET STRONGER.”“What…” Yinyue slightly tilted her head. Wu Keng eyes widened at how she dodged with minimum effort. She kicked his leg, forcing him down on one knee. “What the hell do you mean?” she asked. A hard punch landed on Wu Keng’s right cheek. Two teeth flew out his mouth. As soon as his face returned to position another landed on his left cheek. “WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT, I WILL AWAKEN.”“Get out of my head,” Yinyue replied. Left, right, left, right, her punch rained on Wu Keng’s cheeks nonstop. ‘Overwhelm him.’‘Kill him.’ ‘Show no mercy.’‘Tear him apart.’Several voices rang in her head as her barrage of punches continued. “HAHAHA! I WAIT!”“Get out of my head,” Yinyue yelled. ‘Kill him!’ all the voices screamed in unison. She stretched her right arm far back. Her fist glowed white and the air turne
