CHAPTER 11 - Discount Price
“What? Please, please.” Tears streamed down his cheeks, “Security, Security,” Nicolas screamed. Jack and Kelvin smiled, seeing how the table had turned around against Steve. The customers mocked Steve and even had him thrown out of the boutique. Everyone praised Jack for standing up for Anna. Even Mr. Nicolas Johnson was happy and even pleaded with Jack to follow him to his office, he offered Jack a five-year contract which would allow his boutique to supply him with different outfits at a discount price. Jack refused the offer, he only did what he did because of his friend Anna. He stepped away from the office with a smiling face, he picked everything he ordered and stepped out of the boutique. Meanwhile, Anna was still in the restroom with her eyes filled with tears. The scenes of the events were still playing in her head like a movie. She looked at her phone screen, glancing at the transfer from Steve Gray, her expression was mixed with awe and excitement. She couldn't fix t
CHAPTER 12 - Identity A Secret
It’s been a week after the death and burial of Uncle Asher; Jack couldn’t shake the uneasy feeling that had engulfed his mind after the news hit them hard like a thunderstorm. He had known his uncle Asher to be a strong and reliable individual. Someone who had stood by him while he was growing up. The thought lingered as he made his way out of his room towards his father’s home office, where he had been called. He knocked on the door before stepping inside, where he met his father and Kelvin Wang both having a brief conversation. He could see them staring at him and wasn’t sure why he was called, but knew it was something important. He greeted his father and the butler, after which he sat beside Kelvin Wang across his father’s desk. Mr Harrison drew a deep breath as he leaned forward with his palm placed on the desk. Clearing his throat softly. “Jack, I am happy you are here. We were discussing about you before you came.” “About me?” he retorted with his eyebrows raised in curi
CHAPTER 13 - Return To Crestview
That early morning, Jack was seated at the back of the range rover with Kelvin Wang seated beside him. He was dressed in a casual outfit. The car came to a halt on a lonely road. “Master, we are close to the school. Why not allow us to take you inside.” Kelvin intoned. Jack shook his head, with his eyes peering through the window. “No, Kelvin. It’s fine here; I wouldn’t want people to ask questions; like I said, I want to be seen as the same Jack.” He muttered firmly. Kelvin shrugged, bringing out an envelope from his suit jacket and handing them over to Jack who kept a blank and curious gaze. He hesitated for a moment before slowly opening the envelope to deduce what was inside, his eyes wide in surprise when he found another bank card and another was a VIP card. “Your father instructed me to give that to you,” “But why, I still have enough money with me. I haven’t finished spending the last money he gave me.” Jack intoned. “Young master, your father wants what is best for you.
CHAPTER 14 -The Vice Chancellor Apologize
Jack averted his gaze to see Eric Hilton, one of the twins; he clenched his jaw in fury. He knew he wasn’t supposed to be scared of him anymore, knowing he was now richer than the Hilton’s and with just a phone call, he could make them crumble. He walked away, ignoring the cold glance on him by Eric. Eric frowned his face; he felt disrespected by Jack. He hurriedly walked towards Jack, gripping his hand. “What are you doing here? I thought you were warned never to step foot around Crestview again.” He spat. Jack fainted a smile, “The last time I checked, your family aren’t the owners of Crestview, neither are they the ones who expelled me.” He said sarcastically, “I am back to continue from where I stop. The vice chancellor called me back.” “How would the vice chancellor call back a thief like you?” He uttered grinning. Jack furrowed his brow in deep anger, he tried to compose himself from doing something he would regret. He noticed the camera lights that were flashing at them.
CHAPTER 15 - PLAYING VIDEO GAME;
The students’ mouths agape in astonishment and disbelief; if there was someone who was most feared at Crestview University, it was Mrs Stephanie, but seeing how polite and friendly she was to Jack, who everyone knows as a pauper, leaving the students in a perplexed state. “Which way, Mr. Jack.” “Mrs. Stephanie, you don’t have to do this,” Jack muttered, knowing he didn’t want to create a scene and wouldn’t want to trend. ‘No, Mr. Jack. I don’t mind doing it for you.” She voiced softly. Mrs. Stephenie was persistent about helping Jack. He stood his ground and whispered into her ears. “I don't want to create a scene. Let me carry my bag myself, please, ma’am.” She looked at him as if trying to read his mind. She exhaled softly and let go. She then turned to the students. “You all should go to your classes, and remember to check the school group for updates.” Mrs. Stephanie uttered. While the students were glancing at her, they all received a message notification which popped o
CHAPTER 16 - Message From Crestview University.
Chapter 16 “Hello, Mr. Jack Smith Campbell. This is Mrs. Stephenie, your vice chancellor from Crestview.” Jack was surprised, he shifted a bit. He couldn’t help but smile. He cleared his voice, “Yes, I know. How can I help you.” He mumbled. “I am sorry for what happened, it was never meant to happen. I sent a message to your email address; you are to return to Crestview University immediately. You are innocent, you are no longer expelled.” “Really, why the change of mind all of a sudden?” He asked. Jack knew his father was behind the change of her decision, but he wanted to hear from her. He noticed how she was polite and friendly to him, unlike her. He knew she had found out about his new identity, as the son of Harrison Campbell. “Mr. Jack, that is a question for another day. But I am pleading with you to return to school.” “Okay, I will return when I want. You don’t tell me when you return.” He hung up. Mrs. Stephanie didn’t utter a word, she stared at her phone screen.

Before they disengaged. He was amused, he had a mixture of excitement and jubilation. He was desperately looking for a laptop to help him with most of the school work, and now his friend got one for him. “Bro, I must confess you have saved me from stress. I am saving to get a laptop, but here I am looking at one. All thanks to you.” He said as he felt emotional. He was almost moved to kneel, but Jack was fast enough to stop him. “You don’t have to do that, we are friends. You have been the one helping me when I had nothing, this is just a way of thanking you for those times you came through for me.” Jack replied. The two friends were excited, as they shook hands. Jack watched them as they
CHAPTER 18 - Entrance Of Five Star Hotel
Jack staggered backwards, almost falling but he held his feet strong. “You can’t even hold yourself, you look like someone suffering. Why not go to any of these cheap restaurants to eat? I can give you a tip to add up. Fuck off.” He scoffed. Anger simmered beneath Jack’s composure, this was not just embarrassing but infuriating. Jack reached into his pocket, shoved out his phone and dialled a number. “Who are you calling? Do you think you can threaten us with a fake call? We are used to those tricks.” The guard said in disgust. Jack glared at him, without uttering a word. He was about to unleash something they didn’t expect. “Hello, Young master. How are you enjoying your day? Is there anything you want me to do for you?” He asked. “Kelvin, I need the manager’s number. I am at the entrance of the hotel. The guard's refused to grant me access inside.” He said. “What? Are they high? Don’t worry, I am on my way, master.” He said angrily. “No, Kelvin. I want the manager’s number
CHAPTER 19 - Diamond Lounge
Jack gave the cold glance, “I want them gone,” he said to the manager, his voice steady but firm. “I don’t want anyone working here who judges guests by their appearances or disrespects them like this.” “Of course, Young master. They will be dismissed at once, their behaviour is unacceptable.” Elliot Gideon responded immediately. Without hesitation, the manager turned his gaze at the two guards who were covered in sweat, “You are fired, leave this place right now, and never come back. If I ever see you around here, I will make sure you won’t return home the same way.” He snapped. The guards were pale, with their eyes widened in horror and regret. “ Please, sir. We are sorry. We beg….” The manager didn’t allow them to complete their words, he yelled at them angrily, “I said leave, don’t make me call my men to drag you out.” He roared, pointing towards the gate. The guards got up with their expressions covered in humiliation and heartbroken. This was all their fault; if only they ha
CHAPTER 20 - Diamond Is Closed For Everyone
“What nonsense, how can the hotel close the section? Where is the manager? I want to see him, call him out immediately.” The guard stood still and didn’t act like he cared about what was happening before him. “Are you deaf? Call me the f*cking manager? Tell him his presence is needed here immediately. Why can’t we go inside,” “I am sorry, the young master is having dinner inside and he wouldn’t want to be disturbed.” The second guard responded. “Young master.” Clara Grant spat. “Since when has the young master decided to shut the diamond lounge because he is having a meal, I don’t care to know who the young master is. Where is he? I want to talk with him, step aside.” Jesse said furiously, he wanted to see who would dare to ban them from their usual spot. He tried to push the guards aside, but they were too strong for him; he couldn’t stand them. He knew if he continued, he would disgrace himself in the presence of his girlfriend. He sighed heavily backing out. “I am warning you
