Chapter two hundred and twenty one
His eyes flickered each time as the dead came to haunt him. Jason could see the faces of people who gave him his life. Tears flowed freely from his face as Jaosn's eyes snapped wide open. " Where am I?" Jason said slowly. His eyes darting around. The last thing he remembered was some men kidnapping him. He tried to see where he was but everything was foggy and he could hear the mumbling noise of some men. They were cloth in black clothes. Jason tried to stand but he saw he was fixed to some IV treatment. " You need to rest now Mr Walker. You are in safe hands." The voice said slowly staring at his face. " Ra..v..en....is he alive?" The word left his lips as he fell into another deep sleep. ****************************************************************** [ AWAKE ! ] Jason felt his imb numbs as he tried to get up from the bed. He landed on the floor crawling toward the door. " He..l..p." he said slowly, his breath etched. The door opened and Aleesia rushed towards him.

Jason's eyes nearly popped out of their socket when he was shown the clear image of him. He looked at Aleesia and then back at Raven. " You are joking right?" The room was silent. Everyone looked at Jason, trying to allow him to process what he just saw. "This madness! Have you seen him? Tell me you have seen this fellow that looks exactly like me." Jason snapped, getting to his feet. "You need to calm down, Jase." Alessia said gently, trying to calm the nerve of a beast. " You want me to calm down; do you know what this is?" Jason shouted. "Is Clark now cloning more people like me?" Jason looked at Doctor Zack, who had been quiet for a while now. "Is that possible?" "I don't think you were cloned, Mr Walker." Zack replied. His gaze fixed on Jason. "I think we need to deal with the fact that you might be a twin." Raven said finally. "A twin, huh? Then why didn't Felix tell me? Why doesn't anyone tell me I was a twin all this while?" Jason asked. The room was qu

Jason looked at Raven as he led the way. They got into the mansion with every man staring at Jason. "Is this all of them?" Jason asked, staring at Raven in surprise. " Were you expecting more?" Raven asked. "Do you know how many men Clark has got? Thousands. Men who are loyal to his cause and will see my head on a spike." "Well, we busted our ass to save yours, Mr Walker, and if you think we are unworthy, then I and my brothers are going to leave." One of the men who Jason presumed to be the leader said, looking at Jason. "Did you hear that? Didn't you say these men were ready to die for my cause?" Jason snapped. "Yes, but you don't talk down at them. These are men who have kept the legacy of the Walkers for a very long time. I think they deserve some respect." Raven looked at Jason. "Fine. I think we got off on the wrong foot. I am sorry. My name is Jason…" Jason was about to finish his words when the leader stopped him. "We know who and what you are, Mr Jason Carter, or should

Jason stared at the man—Skull. His face was gaunt, carved with battle scars and time-worn lines, but his eyes… his eyes burned with a ferocity Jason had only seen in war-hardened soldiers. He didn’t look like a savior, but neither did he look like a liar.Jason reached out, clasping Skull’s hand. “Then teach me. Whatever it takes, I’ll do it.”Skull nodded. “Good. Because once we start, there’s no turning back.”Alessia stood, her fists clenched at her side. “Wait. I don’t trust this. Jason, listen to me, you don’t even know what this man’s been through, what he’s capable of. You can’t just—”“I don’t have a choice,” Jason interrupted. “If Clark gets his hands on me, on my blood, it’s over. Not just for me—for all of us.”“Exactly,” Skull said, voice sharp. “Clark doesn’t want to kill you, not yet. He wants to consume you—to use your blood to strengthen himself..”The room was more quiet now. Everyone was ready to listen to whatever Skull had to say. He was the man who knows everythi

Clark was not only recuperating but was also planning the biggest event of the year. "We need to have him come to us. Aleesia is going to come for her sister's wedding, so Jason is definitely going to come." Sophia looked at him. "Jason wanted to have his wedding without letting any of us know about it. Do you think he is going to show up? And besides, we don't even know if he is alive or not. It has been how many months now?" Clark arched his eyebrows and looked at Irene, who was seated with her legs crossed. "You said you know Jason very well, if I am correct." "Very well. What do you want me to do?" Irene asked. "Nothing. Do nothing but just make sure Jason comes to the wedding. Use any trick if you must, but I would like to have him down at the wedding." Clark looked at her. "And how do you suppose she does that?" Nikoklause said finally after being silent for a long time. "Remind me why you are here again?" Clark raised an eyebrow. "I am here because we are talking a

A playful smile appeared on Irene's lips. "Thought you might never ask."She rose from the couch slowly, walking toward the glass window that overlooked the dim courtyard below. Her silhouette stood framed by the pale moonlight seeping through the curtains. “Jason Walker is a ghost now, but even ghosts have weaknesses. And I know every single one of his.”Niko watched her, his jaw tight. He didn’t trust her, not entirely—but something about her voice, the confidence in it, made him listen.“You said he’s going to come for the wedding,” he muttered. “What if he doesn’t?”“Oh, he will,” Irene said without turning around. “Aleesia may have stolen him, but he’s still a man ruled by guilt, by a need for closure. He will come. And when he does, we strike—not just to capture him, but to break him. He doesn't know what you are and I bet he has not seen you up close. Jason is going to come to get a visual of that and when he does, we take him down." Niko frowned. " You mean kill him?" " What

" So you are okay with the idea of having Jason killed?" Niko looked at Eric. " Aren't you supposed to be like his Uncle?" " What part of her sent to me prison don't you understand? My father chose him over me!" Eric spat in anger. " Do you know how long I have served the old man? Ever since I was a boy, Niko. And when I thought I was going to be the next in line, he sidelined me and brought a nuisance to be the heir to the Carter empire. Do you honestly think I was going to seat and watch?" " So? You killed him." Niko said grabbing his forehead. " Is there no way about this? There should be a way from all of this. I don't want to kill anyone to get what I want." Niko said looking at them. " And how many has Jason killed in his quest for revenge? Do you know how many had to die for him to get his beauty peace? He killed Henry Carter." Eric said sipping his drink. " And who is that? Am I suppose to know him?" " I don't have the time to go into details, Niko. But I can see you wan

The room was thick with tension. The words hung in the air, a challenge, an invitation to a game none of them could back out of. Irene’s eyes flickered with a hint of approval, while Eric’s gaze sharpened, as if weighing every word Niko had just spoken. "How do we kill Clark?" Niko repeated, his voice steady, but his heart pounding beneath the calm exterior. The weight of the decision felt heavier with every passing second. Clark had been a figure of power, the patriarch of a dynasty, someone whose very name struck fear into the hearts of many. To kill him wasn’t just a matter of strategy; it was a declaration of war. Irene raised an eyebrow, a slow smile creeping across her face. "You’ve been thinking about this, haven’t you, Niko?" she said, her voice smooth, almost teasing. "You know what this means. We all know what it means. But the question is—what kind of man are you? A man of action or just another pawn caught in someone else’s game?" Niko remained silent for a moment,

Alessia walked into Jason's room. He was laid on the bed after the blood have been drained off his body. " How long do we have to wait before he wakes back to life? Is he dead?" She asked after Jaosn had been asleep for days.Skull looked at Alessia, " I know that you are scared and afraid to lose your husband.l but then, Mr Jason is in safe hands and I will never let anything happen to him."Raven placed a hand on Alessia's shoulders. " Let's just wait for a little while. I am sure Mr Jason would wake up from this."Doctor Zack walked in, he check his vitals and looked at Alessia." He is breathing and he is alive." he said with a smile on his face. Alessia let out a gentle sigh and looked at Jason again. " You need to come back to me, Jason. Come back."" You do know he is not dead, right?" Skull said smiling. " We are only preparing him for what is coming next. Mr Jason needs to be ready when he finally has a face off with Clark. We need him to be ready."Alessia's phone beeped and
