Chapter 121
"I need to ask you something, Fedco." Saint said, sitting behind the grand dining table that was made for a banquet to feast. Saint could feel the emptiness in the dinning while he ate the meal that was presented before him; the crushing of the food in between his teeth echoing off the walls. The meal was unlike any other he had ever tasted. While he raised the spoon to his mouth and spoke in between mouthfuls, he looked forward to his next bite. He was certain that the food he ate could not be prepared by anyone else on earth, he could taste the flavour in each bite, although he could not recognise nor the spices that was used in cooking the fold. "What is it master?" Fedco asked patiently, watching his master haul the food in, "I can order the maid to bring more for you, if you want some more." Fedco suggested, seeing the speed in which he rushed the food. "Oh is there? That would be wonderful....the food is really good!" Saint commented, reaching the his glass of water to wash t
Chapter 122
Han went over and sat just where Fedco had been, her eyes still fixated on Saint, staring as if she was seeing him for the first time. Saint shifted uncomfortably in his chair, adjusting his gaze to the plate. He suddenly lost the appetite to devour the food in front of him, although he still wanted to eat a little more portion out of it. "I should have come earlier, but I was kind of busy attending to other things." She finally broke the lingering silence. Saint couldn't tell why but for some reason, it seemed as though Han was lying about what she just said, but he decided to sweep it under the rug. "Do you care to join me?!" He asked, gesturing toward the food. "Oh no, thank you, I already had something to eat before I came." Saint could tell she was lying again. He wanted to press the issue but just shrugged and let his cutlery fall down to his plate. "Is everything alright with you, Han?" Saint couldn't help but ask her. Han blinked rapidly, as though the question had caug
Chapter 123
"I need to know everything, Fedco, so tell me, when are they getting married?!" This was the only question Saint kept on repeating after tons of questions had rushed out from his mouth. "You need to answer me?!" Saint didn't know what he was getting worked up over. Maybe it was due to the fact that he couldn't bare to see Han married to a person like Jain. She was too sweet for him. An angel getting married to a monster like him? No, it could never work—he would never let that happen, not while he was still here. "I'm afraid it's in three days time." Fedco replied, he sounded as if he too knew what Han was getting herself into. He had intentionally withheld valid information about Jain until this moment. He had done so because he didn't want his master to go after Jain, knowing how dangerous it could get for him. "In three days?" Saint asked, holding up his fingers as he counted how much time he still had left, "that means that, something can still be done about it."Fedco transfo
Chapter 124
Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary when Saint arrived at the wedding. Although it had taken him quite the effort for him to navigate his way around, since Fedco had still been hesitant on sharing the location of the wedding with him.But then, he remembered that he could use the screen Fedco had introduced to him at his disposal. He had been unsure if the screen would provide answers since Fedco had informed him that the screen's main purpose was to keep track of everyone in the realm including Saint since he had joined them.It seemed as though he was attending a wedding back on earth. He was just in time to see Han walking down the aisle to meet Jain who was at the other end. The only difference was that, there was no priest or religious individual who was to grace the event.Never had he seen any other woman as pretty as Han. His breath hitched in his throat when he saw her. He almost did not recognize that she was the one, but the gloomy look she wore on her face tore Saint'
Chapter 125
"Don't worry gentlemen, I can handle him, I just need to have a word with him." Jain let out when he saw that Saint still kept his attention on the men, and unless he dismissed the men, he wouldn't be able to pass his message across to Saint. "You can take your leave now." Jain said to him, signalling to them to take their leave, but as they were about to leave, the woman who had ushered Han in intercepted them. "Jain, please, let them take him away so the wedding can commence." The woman sounded desperate, it was as if she knew that if they wasted any more time, Han could escape and all her plans for Han to get married to Jain would be ruined. "Oh there's no problem, Letitia, he can stay. He's a wedding guest, but he's new around here so he's not quite familiar with a lot of things." Jain let out and once again signalled to the men to take their leave. They did and he gladly waited for Saint to give him his full attention. Times like this in the realm was rare—very rare for Jain,
Chapter 126
"Thank you for coming to my rescue, Saint, but you know that you would have gotten yourself killed. This is highly unlike Jain, but I'm guessing that his urge to feed his ego is greater than the need to fulfill his devilish desires with me." She waited until Saint had taken her back to his mansion before she spoke. "You're welcome and what do you mean by devilish desires?" Saint turned to her to ask. "I heard the things he whispered into your ear. It's disgusting to know...""I'm really sorry that you have to go through all of this.""No, it's totally okay. At least I'm fine now. I thought by now, I would have been made to kiss that jerk....he doesn't deserve me!" While shaking her head fervently, she repeated. "He doesn't deserve me at all."She yanked her veil off her head and tossed it to the ground. "I will be needing you to burn that while you can...." She gestured to the veil and then to the wedding dress she was putting on, "....and this too."Suddenly, there was a long paus
Chapter 127
Just as Han had predicted, Jain was at the training center and it seemed he had been waiting for him. "Saint, what took you so long, brother?!" Jain called out to him. "Brother?" Saint scoffed. He tried to follow Han's advice and avoid Jain at all cost but Jain was making it very hard for him to. "Saint, you're not good to ignore me, will you?" Jain asked him, getting closer at every word. "No, I'm not ignoring you Jain. I have only come here to train, just like you have."Jain chuckled slightly, "you really think I came here to train?" He asked sarcastically. "Now, tell me, what do you think there is to train?" He asked again, but Saint didn't answer. By this time, almost everyone at the training had their attention drawn to the duo. Some of the members who had made it a full time duty to be at the training center had recognized Saint from the marriage, because they had come straight from the event to the training center. Most of the men could not believe that Saint could look
Chapter 128
The air shimmered with golden mist as Saint walked through the vast and quiet plains of the demi-god realm. Every step he took felt lighter than air but heavier with purpose. Now, if he was going to face Jain in battle—not just any battle, but a battle that would decide Han’s fate and possibly his own, he needed more than resolve—he needed mastery. He didn't know how he transitioned to the where he found himself. All he remembered was that he had heard his name being called and when he responded, a bright light blinded him. He hadn't realized that his thoughts had been heard and had been granted. His request to have a better trainer had been fulfilled. Suddenly, He found himself walking towards an inscription painted on a wall in front of him. "....but first, You have to be found worthy." The inscription read. Saint repeated what the inscription said out loudly, his brows creased into confusion as he read it over and over again. He reached out and tried touching the wall, but it
Chapter 129
Saint stood still as he listened to the celestial winds of the Demi-God Realm howling like a chorus of ancient spirits, singing hymns of forgotten glory. He stared across the vast golden plains that shimmered under a sky with no sun, no stars—only a warm, eternal glow. His clothes were torn from earlier trials, with his knuckles bruised. He had passed the initial tests. The first few elders had challenged him with riddles, illusions, and feats of strength, each one of them pushing him further to prove that he belonged. Now, his real journey was just beginning. He was summoned once again, but this time, it was to the temple of Shifting Echoes, a structure that pulsed with divine energy, changing its shape every few minutes. Inside, the walls hummed with whispers from other realms.Waiting for him was the next trainer.A tall, bald man clothed in translucent robes, stood by a reflecting pool that mirrored not the outside world, but Saint’s deepest memories.“Saint of the Mortal Flame,”
Chapter 130
The air was dense with golden mist as Saint approached the edge of a forest. It was unlike any that he had encountered so far in the Demi-God Realm. The trees shimmered with silver leaves, and the ground was covered in grass that hummed like a low melody. Everything was alive here—not just with magic, but with intent. This was the Sanctuary of Equinox, the realm where balance ruled above all else—balance of mind, body, spirit… and power. It was said to be the most unpredictable test in the entire Demi-God Realm, for those who walked through it either emerged enlightened… or never emerged at all.Saint paused at the edge, with his heart thudding loudly. His training with Soryan, Arlena, and Kael had prepared him in ways he couldn’t yet comprehend. But this… this was different. The moment his foot crossed into the forest, the world went silent. Even his thoughts seemed to hush.A voice echoed from the trees, smooth and serene._"Welcome, Seeker of Flame. You are here to face your imbala
