The Tribal Mages
Rein awoke slowly, a dull throbbing pain pounding at the base of his skull. He groaned as he sat up, rubbing his temples. He sat on his bed and removed his blanket. He squinted his eyes and then thought. "Damn… felt like my head was about to crack," he muttered under his breath. His vision slowly cleared as he blinked a few times. Shapes formed around him......faces. Dozens of them. Warriors and Mages alike, all of his underlings gathered around, their expressions filled with concern."Master! We are glad that you're awake!" Kuro said, stepping forward."Master, you collapsed so suddenly," Rein added, worry thick in his voice. Anna's father bowed slightly, his hands clenched in worry."Anna was worried too," said Mary, her voice soft."Big brother… are you okay now?" Anna asked timidly, her large eyes shimmering with tears.Rein forced a small smile and gently patted her head. "Yeah, I'm fine now. Thanks for worrying."As he looked around, he noticed something different. Everyone espe
Raining Slimes and Mimics
The army was positioned just outside the shimmering portal. The main defensive force consisted of the seasoned Warriors, hardened by two prior battles, while the Mages were fresh recruits still new to war, stood at the rear, preparing to rain magic from afar. With their temporary team composition, they leaned heavily toward offense. There was no dedicated tank yet, no shieldbearer or guardian to absorb the brunt of the assault. It was a glaring vulnerability, and everyone knew it.Still, they had little choice. The portal had to be protected at all costs. Behind it were the innocents: the children, the mothers, the elderly. All nestled safely inside the Soul Realm. A single breach could mean disaster. The saying rang in Rein's mind again and again: "The best defense is a good offense." It wasn't ideal, but it would have to do.Rein stood apart from the rest, hovering several meters above the ground, scanning the horizon with a stern gaze. He was still searching for a way to temporaril
The 2 Class Generals
"Battle has come! Everyone, brace for impact!" Reynald's voice thundered across the field, firm and commanding. The moment his words echoed, the battlefield trembled under the weight of the incoming horde. A black tide of undead surged forward, their shrieks and roars distorting the air. The defending army stood their ground, their bodies tensing, teeth gritting, and hearts pounding. Even the bravest among them could not help but swallow hard at the overwhelming sight before them.Yet amidst that storm of fear, two figures stood calm....Reynald and Frein. Generals of their respective forces, the warriors and the mages. Their eyes did not falter; they read the battlefield like a book, absorbing every movement with the poise expected of seasoned leaders."Mages! Now!" Frein's voice cut through the chaos like lightning.A surge of magic pulsed behind the frontline. The mages raised their glowing hands, and within seconds, dozens of magic missiles launched into the undead ranks. Explosion
Undead General - melee battle
"The undead are being pushed back! Everyone, advance!" Reynald bellowed, his voice carrying like a war horn across the blood stained battlefield. The warriors roared in unison, a guttural cry of fury and renewed strength. Their blades, dulled with grime, raised once more. They surged forward with Reynald at the helm, cleaving through the scattered undead with a vengeance born of desperation and hope. Their momentum surged. The tide was shifting.Morale coursed through their veins like fire. The despair from earlier was gone, replaced with sharpened instincts, heightened reflexes, and eyes blazing with battle fury. Reynald led the charge like a stormbreaker, his strikes opening a path that his men followed without hesitation."Go, go, go!" Rein's voice rang from the rear lines. "Unleash everything!"The mages responded with precision. Spells burst from their hands like fireworks, raining arcs of flame, shards of ice, crackling lightning, and blasts of wind down on the enemy ranks. The
Summon evolved monsters
The battle was in high flares of holy damage to the Undead General. Making it shriek to the pain. Rein thought that it would be the end but to his surprise, it was not. It was only the beginning. He observed the enemy and then concluded. Its skin was seeping with a reddish aura that has been regenerating him."Huh, he has that? He has a skill that far surpassed mine!?" He concluded. With that, the enemy used ultra regeneration...faster regeneration than his skill fast regeneration. He needed that skill so he would need to absorb him. [Enemy regeneration is faster than "Absorb" skill][Regeneration consumes mana and his mana is not unlimited] [Suggestion of course of action][Make his mana dry up and then use absorb skill]"But first we needed to weaken him." He concluded and so he made a plan...his regeneration needs huge mana to maintain so he needs to whittle down his mana first. Then Rein used elements. Fire burned his hands and then shot it to his enemy the Undead General. The
Ultimates
The battle raged on and Rein felt a huge amount of mana surge into his soul realm. He managed to integrate the mana molecules into his mana well and a significant amount was added. By far, it could lead to an evolution. But he postponed it as he was still in battle. He immediately made adjustments that Wise Sage will take care of himself. By making him deal with the evolution himself, he was now in the bottleneck of evolving. The process was arduous and perilous as he had to divide his soul to process his evolution while fighting. Luckily, Wise Sage was there in the soul to handle such a case. He immediately managed to process the mana of the Undead General to integrate into his soul. Meanwhile, Rein was panting and he managed to win in a grueling battle. He wiped his sweat then sighed. "That was close! The enemy has Flesh Eater skill and I have a hard time fighting it. Luckily, my absorb skill was superior to his." Rein muttered. It was a great luck and luck was on his side. He
Lich Overlord
"The Lich Overlord..... I should be wary." Rein was now sure of his enemy's capabilities. It was a dreadful enemy that could tear apart his clones like that. Thanks to him not putting some magic barriers to them. They were ripped like a good old newspaper. Though their regeneration was active, they were not all immune to damage. If they were protected with a multi layered barrier then they could have at least survived.Rolan chose quantity over quality. He made a mistake in that. And so he learned his lesson. He was not all powerful at the moment and still has to grow. With that, he now has an idea. He made his mana molecules to be spent on a skill. "Wise Sage, create a defensive skill in physical and Magical damage."[Physical damage barrier created][Magical damage barrier created][Attempting to merge both skills][Physical and Magical Barrier Created][Creating more layers to the barrier strength][Creating Barrier Regeneration][Success!][Skill Multi Layered Barrier Created][S
Battle of Summoners
The sky darkened once more. Clouds twisted in unnatural spirals as if reality itself bent under the weight of what was to come. It was a bad premonition from his allies' perspective. It was by far dreadful and spine chilling. They managed to deal with the problem and now, another one arrived. It felt luck was not on their side. Especially this enemy that was a bringer of the bad luck. They immediately gulped their saliva and then they gritted their teeth. They braced for another impact of the enemy's attacks. From the fractured shadows of the forest and shattered ruins, new terrors stepped into the battlefield. Each clad in necrotic armor, their weapons dripping with cursed flame, their auras oppressive and steeped in death.[Undead Knight Commander – Level 100][Ghoul Summoner – Level 100][Wraith Executioner – Level 100][Warning: Combined Threat Level – Catastrophic]Sigh, another one...When will this battle end?How can we win this one? They were now muttering and then watched
Ultimate Summoning
Rein stood silently on the scorched battlefield, the wind carrying the scent of ash and death. His eyes scanned the aftermath. The undead forces had been eradicated and his army stood victorious. The Undead General had been vanquished by his own hand, a hard-earned victory. But his thoughts were already consumed by the greater threat, the Undead Lich. That entity was no ordinary foe. It was a calamity given form.He could not afford to half-heartedly respond to any move it made. Every decision now had the potential to become fatal if mishandled. One wrong command, one miscalculation, and all could fall to ruin.Rein clenched his fists. Two new ultimate skills had awakened within him. They pulsed with raw power, each brimming with potential, yet incomplete. Ultimate skills needed vast amounts of mana molecules to evolve into their true forms. And he had just burned through every last bit of his stockpile. He had poured the soul essence and mana of the Undead General into [Summon Evolve
Summoning Clones with Job class
Rein sat atop his mimic clone, quietly observing the battlefield while recovering his mana reserves. In front of him floated a shimmering display of data of his summoned clone forces, neatly divided by class.[Mage Clones]1 Elementalist2 Conjurers2 Priests3 Telekinetics1 Telepath3 Enchanters3 Support1 Teleporter[Warrior Clones]1 Swordsman2 Berserkers3 Lifestealers2 Brawlers1 Offensive Knight2 Staff Masters2 Spearmen1 DuelistEach clone stood ready, crackling with mana, weapons drawn and eyes sharp. Rein wasn't idle either, he was preparing to unleash the spell he had painstakingly crafted alongside Solomon."Evolve skill: Gluttonous Devourer," he commanded firmly.[Affirmative][Evolving skill…][Failed][Not enough mana molecules detected][Sacrificing mana molecules from Stamina Skill...][Mana threshold met][Evolving skill...][Success!][Catastrophic Gluttonous Devourer Created]A ripple of overwhelming energy spread across the battlefield. Then, all at once. "A
