A FRIEND'S POWER
“The freedom is not exactly now but I am indeed here to fulfill the promise. I promise I will free every single human here the next time I come,” he said still staring at the Witch, “so, what is with this Witch?” he asked again.“I am Agnes, and if you want to know anything about me, you don’t need to ask others like a coward. Talk to me directly.” She stated and an amused smile emerged on Ushar’s face.“Well then, what is your mission in the Blood Kingdom, Agnes?” He asked.“Who are you to ask me such, why should I answer you, are you the Vampire King?” Agnes asked back staring right into Ushar’s eyes.“You would rather not know who I am, Witch.” Ushar spoke before turning to Brad, “if indeed you trust the young man, endure just a while longer. I can’t state a definite time but I will definitely come back, and with me, I will bring your freedom.” He declared.“I am sorry Bone Demon but even I don’t trust you now, you took years to come back and still you are not here with the promise
ANCIENT VAMPIRE
“Indeed, it does.” The Leader said nodding before looking at Ushar with a slight frown, “I will give you a month Sir Ushar, if after then you are still not here to help us, we will have no choice but to take the Magician’s help.” Brad stated and Ushar looked at him for a moment before nodding and looking at the Witch who seemed still frozen in shock and she immediately looked away on noticing his gaze.“I hope to see you all in a month then.” He spoke and left. Some moments later…In front of a dark hazy tunnel, two red eyed vampires stood some distance from each other, their gaze staring through the darkness.Suddenly, a faint gust blew by and one of the Vampires turned sharply to the side before looking at his fellow, “hey, did you notice anything just now?” he asked with slight frown.“What?” the other replied looking around in confusion.“The air felt different just now.” The Vampire said still frowning slightly.“There is nothing man, stop hallucinating,” The other said shaking hi
GREAT ONE
In the human world…The Boss sat in his usual seat, staring at a screen which had suddenly lit up on the wall. On it, a man’s face could be seen.“Good day, General Roland. I hope you have good news?” The boss spoke through his mask.“I am afraid not Great One. The Magicians have requested to destroy the Seer Mercenary just like you predicted and they have made it clear that they will be using their own soldiers.” General Roland replied.“Oh, that isn’t necessarily bad news General Roland, have a great day.” The Boss spoke before the screen turned blank.“Huff, I am finally getting a break after all these years, I should tell her now.” The Boss muttered before tapping on a button. Some moments later, Linda walked into the room with a slight frown, “I saw a message from you, boss.” She said.“I sent it.” The Boss replied simply.“You are giving me a day off.” Linda replied.“Is that supposed to make you worried because you sound worried, Linda?” The Boss replied.“I… I wanted to confir
A NEW GUARDIAN
“Are you kidding?” Ushar muttered, looking at the options, each single added stat point provided a considerable increase to his power. This was simply offering a giant leap to what the ancient Vampire had accumulated over several hundred years. He immediately narrowed down to Agility and Perception. While increasing his brute strength might seem important, the increase still paled in comparison to that of Agility and perception. He was however, torn between these two, the increase in Agility was by eleven points and this would no doubt, increase his fluidity and movement speed greatly and make his attacks more swift and chaotic for his enemies. As for the increase in perception, while it might not directly increase his battle strength, it did improve senses like hearing, smell, sight, and even the strange sixth sense which few supernatural creatures possessed.“I choose Agility.” Ushar eventually stated and he could feel some tingling sensations in his muscles.~Stat~[Strength: 45][
HYBRIDS MUST BE RIDDEN
In some far lands within the underworld…High in the sky, Agnes, the white haired Witch stood on her wand shooting forward rapidly.Soon, a gigantic white castle which had crawling plants of myriad colors clinging to its walls in beautiful patterns appeared in a far distance on the ground. In front of the castle she landed kicking up some dust around the place before rapidly walking into the castle through several paths and soon she approached the door of a grand hall. Two guards by the way immediately raised the spears in their hands blocking Agnes’ way.“The leaders are having a meeting.” One of the guards spoke coldly and the white haired witch frowned at him.“This is an important matter, I am sure they will understand,” She said glaring at the guards whose faces hardened even more, “it doesn’t matter what the matter is, no one barges into the throne room without permission.” The guard replied.“What is it Agnes?” A powerful voice suddenly shouted from within the throne room and t
CUNNING KING
“Well, Hybrids have always spelled trouble so I won’t expect this particular one to be different. We should just get rid of him.” The red-haired leader said again.“But, this is a creature who killed the last Vampire Queen, I feel getting rid of him might be easier said than done,” another leader replied.“Indeed, getting rid of him might be easier said than done but what if we convince him to join our side. Our wars won’t stop after getting rid of the Vampires, we will need to cleanse the world of the Werewolves as well, we might need all the help we can get.” The White haired Witch commented.“I feel that would be impossible, Leader Luce. In fact, I think the Hybrid cares for the Vampires just as he does for the humans, he won’t hesitate to defend them” Agnes said and the whole place quieted again. The Hybrid was a being powerful enough to kill even the Vampire Queen, an enemy of such proportion was nothing to scoff at, while these thoughts were going through the leaders’ mind, the
I SET MY OWN RULES
“So what? The humans tried to get you because of your strange power and I saved your life. Even if I really do need your help for some things, it is only right you do it” the King retorted with a frown.“Yeah, it is right I help you if you had indeed rescued me from the humans, but no – you didn’t. You thought I won’t know but what you did earlier wasn’t just checking my soul, you tried to bewitch me so I would not resist your commands. You were probably the one behind my abduction; it wasn’t any human government because how do you know all my information unless you were walking with the government? You simply had the Mercenaries abduct me and put me to sleep. Then, after they delivered me to you, you cooked up the story of rescuing me from them just so I will feel indebted to you, isn’t that so?” Aria asked and the King’s eyes widened.“I did no such thing. Why would I need humans to abduct you when I can simply do it myself?” the King replied, sounding angry.“Can you? I believe you
LONE HIKER
“What? So fast!” the woman shouted as her hand glowed brown light and a large boulder materialized in front of her into which Ushar’s fist slammed and the boulder was violently shattered, sending smaller rocks flying all around.“Strong!” The woman exclaimed again.Right through the destruction, Ushar could see the man’s flaming chain swinging towards his legs.He raised a leg but the chain had wrapped around his other leg and the Warlock pulled with great strength but Ushar wasn’t moved an inch. The flames on the chain however burnt rapidly through his bony carapace before he felt the ground quaking underneath him. He shot towards the warlock just as the ground collapsed where he had stood. The Warlock seeing his charge, punched right towards Ushar but before the punch could connect, a gigantic ball of flame materialized from his fist.Ushar crashed right into the flame which exploded on contact and he could feel searing pain washed through his entire body but quite unexpdetedly Usha
PURPLE
On an icy expanse, Ushar walked on having successfully extricated himself from the group.“What is this?” he muttered with scrunched brows as the strange feeling of being watched by someone stuck to his senses. No matter how he tried to look however, he could not see anyone around, even his nose was not catching any scent, without doubt, whoever was watching him was also distorting his senses.[Will of Stone activated]After activating the skill, Ushar’s face slowly looked to a side and there, he could eventually see it. A purple-haired man with calm gaze looking straight back at him.“Who are you and why are you hiding and tailing me like a rat?” Ushar asked turning fully to face the person.“Rat...” The man repeated with raised brows, this was the Magician King and he had finally found the one he was looking for. “That is the last thing I expected to be compared with, tell me bone demon, are you tired of living?” He asked slowly walking towards Ushar.Ushar looked on at him for a mo
CAPTURED
Ushar’s face however turned grave on hearing Greg’s words, if the report was true then it meant this attack wasn’t even conducted by the government as he had thought. It was instead the handiwork of the Magicians but again, why would the Magicians attack the Seer Mercenaries.“Don’t tell me…” He muttered, as the words of the Magician King came rewinding in his mind, “…you messed with the wrong Witch.”“Was there a silver-haired girl among them? The target you tried to kill.” He suddenly asked and Greg raised a brow.“Oh, why are you asking, do you expect her to be there?” he asked back.“Yes, I…” Ushar paused as a sudden drowsiness assaulted his mind.[Strange substance detected in user’s body!][No resistance able to neutralize strange substance][User’s body going into unresponsive mode]“What have you done?” he thundered, blasting forwards in an instant but just before reaching Greg, he collided into something solid and several cracks appeared mid-air or was it mid-air?There had i
