Whispers spread across the lobby, each comment carrying surprise, all eyes piercing on the young man who had just walked in, his dressing completely out of place among the expensive suits and flamboyant gowns, and yet he spoke with the guts of someone who owned the whole land.Who's the boss really?"I expect you to be on your knee now, crawling at my feet like a good kid maybe I'll have that mercy you spoke about on you. Because once my brother, the manager of the whole hotel is here, your life is done!"She spoke with the entitlement of a spoilt baby sister."You'll spend some good time in prison.." He kept glancing at his old wrist watch like a bomber expecting the detonation of a hidden bomb."Five minutes." He mumbled. The receptionist poked finger at his chest, jeering as Rowan's silence made her look like a fool. "

Power tastes like victory. He crouched slightly, holding Mr. Henderson on the shoulder to pull him up. His late mother had nurtured him to be kind, never to intentionally punish the innocent, and to forgive when necessary."Mr. Henderson," Rowan called gently. "Please stand. You shouldn't be the one apologizing when you're innocent."Mr. Henderson shook his head frantically, sweat balls dancing off his face."No.no..Mr. Rowan..I know you're angry. She's just du
