Chapter 180
Greg was seated, his legs crossed in a lotus position with Olivia seated across from him. It was just after dinner and Greg was now inside his room. Tired as Greg currently felt, they didn't immediately start his training. Instead, his gaze moved right to the edge of his vision where the small system screen was. Three seconds later, it enlarged to cover most of his vision. The first thing of note was that the mission the system had assigned him when he attained the rank of acolyte of lust was now marked with 2/100. The next thing was that his lust points total had climbed to thirteen million and some change. Greg may have gotten a bit carried away with having a hard-on that wouldn't go soft unless he wished it to. By the time he was done with the Town-head's wife and his daughter, the two could barely walk. Greg had to allow them to rest for an hour before letting them bathe in his house to get rid of the smell of sex. Of course, Greg joined them and had some more fun with them while
Chapter 181
Greg hadn't understood what Olivia meant when she told him to thank the healer. The more he thought about her words, however, the more he realized the truth of her words and how central to his success the healer had been. Without her, even Olivia wouldn't have entered the picture. Greg would have been on his own, floundering as he tried to figure out the system. Not to mention that without the mana from the healer, he wouldn't have been able to access the Magic shop. The more Greg thought about it the more certain he became that he would have most likely ended up dead to his uncle's machinations and that would have been the end of that! "The second reason why you managed to get so many feats of lust, had to do with a hidden rule of the system. And that is; the higher the danger grade, the more feats you will earn as a result. While the Town-head might need you, there is zero doubt that he'd do all that he could to end your life if he ever found out what you did to his wife and daught
Chapter 182
A part of Greg knew that he was spoilt. He was looking at the rewards from the perspective of someone who had managed to become involved with a seventh-tier mage and reaped the rewards of that. Olivia's explanation had opened his eyes to what it would have been like if the healer had been out of the picture. Earning fifty thousand lust points, for someone who hadn't gotten used to earning the points in the millions, would have been quite the boon. His father's send-off party involving over a hundred different women had only netted him about twenty-seven thousand lust points, so fifty thousand wasn't a small amount by any means. Also, if the healer hadn't pumped him full of mana allowing him to access the magic shop, then Greg wouldn't have any way of getting magical items or materials of any kind. The ring of hidden presence would have been a very attractive prize for him in that case. The only reason Greg could look down his nose at it was because he'd had the unbelievable luck of be
Chapter 183
Niya could tell by the slight downturn of his lips that his father found the answer unsatisfactory. "If all the hunters of the town took up arms against us, do you think our hunters would be able to stand?" the man asked calmly. Shaking his head, Niya spoke. "No," He said. It wasn't a complicated question. The house of Valla had almost one hundred and fifty capable fighters. The whole town had close to if not over a thousand hunters in total. If they took away their hunters, there would still be almost six times that number left to contend with. There was just simply no way of them beating those odds. "So then, why do we occupy the position that we do?" He asked. "Why does the house of Aria and Ember stand as our equals and not any other? Why does our town head stand above our three families despite being one man?" he posed. "Enlighten us, father," Niya asked with a bow of his head. Try as he would, Niya couldn't see what his father was driving at. Wasting time by making pointle
Chapter 184
The reason Niya didn't need to guess the answer was because the only time he had ever seen his father scared was when one of his cousins had offended her. This had happened several years back when the healer had still been new to town. Too used to being in a position of honor within the town, the poor boy had thought nothing of the healer and spoken rudely to her. All that the healer had done was turn to his father as if to see what he would do about it. Without hesitation, his father had called the boy to his side before swiping a blade across his throat. As the boy lay on the floor eyes full of confusion as he bled out, his father had been bowing to the healer and not just apologizing, but begging for mercy for their whole family. Niya could even remember the way he'd been shaking at the time. It wasn't an act, his father had truly been feared for the continuation of their whole family. The healer didn't even answer his father's pleadings, she'd just turned and walked away. From tha
Chapter 185
Greg blinked a few times as sleep left him. A slight frown knitted his brows. Something felt different. Try as he would, however, he couldn't figure out what it was. It wasn't until he pushed up off the bed that it clicked in his mind. He was energetic! For the first time in three months, Greg didn't go for a dungeon run the previous night. As enjoyable as the dives were, they always left him feeling completely drained afterward. A feeling that would last well into the next day. Greg had gotten used to waking up feeling like ninety percent of his energy had been drained away and operating on just the ten percent left. He'd gotten so used to this that waking up feeling energetic felt a bit strange to him. Grooming himself, especially with Olivia's help, didn't take that long. Before long Greg walked into the dining room where he'd hosted Shalia and her mother the day prior. His sister, Tayani, was already seated on the seat to the left side of the head seat while his mother was stand
Chapter 186
His mother had only taken a small step away, as such, once Greg was seated, it was all too easy for him to surreptitiously reach down below the hem of her dress and slowly pull his hand up her shapely legs. Greg couldn't go too high enough to touch any of her sensitive spots lest Tayani notice the motion of his hand. Still, Greg enjoyed the warmth of her thighs even as he ran his hand up and down between them. Once again, his mother paused looking torn about how she should respond to his antics. Greg just smiled knowing that with every little push from him, she was getting more and more tangled in his web... When Greg walked out of his house after breakfast, he was greeted by the chill air of late fall. Winter was fast approaching and in a week or so, the first of the snow would fall. Greg didn't know if they were in an evergreen forest or if it had something to do with the magic of this world he found himself in but the trees were seemingly unaffected by the changing season. The le

It was also during this time that the healer proved herself an almost indispensable part of the community. Before she came along, the winter migrations were a bloody affair that saw many of the town's defenders either maimed or outright killed. With the healer around, however, injuries didn't fester or take months to heal, maiming often didn't lead to permanent disability, and injuries that would have otherwise been fatal were often remedied before they took a life. The only exceptions to this were if the beasts managed to take the person on the spot, or if the person was too far gone by the time they got them to the healer. She was powerful, but even her prodigious abilities had a limit. Greg's gaze moved to the gate of his compound and, much to his surprise, Shalia was standing there. Even more surprising was the fact that Niya and Naiya were also there alongside her chatting and laughing with her. After being a bit overzealous with her first time, and running both her and her mot
Chapter 188
Confusion was clear to be seen on Shalia's face as she regarded the two. She knew perfectly well that while they weren't enemies, the two couldn't be called Greg's friends in any sense of the word. Outside of his father's sendoff party, they'd never once interacted before or since. As such, it was clear that all that the two had just said was little more than a charade. On his part, however, Greg was smiling under the mask. "A dinner, huh? Those tend to lead to unexpected outcomes," He said cryptically, unable to hide the amusement in his voice. While a look of slight confusion crossed the siblings' expression at his words, the blush that had almost completely faded from Shalia's face came back full force as she was reminded that 'a simple dinner' is how this all started. Greg continued as Shalia turned away to hide her blush. "I'd be very happy to join you for dinner tonight if that's okay with you," Greg spoke up. "Perfect. We'll make sure you are well received," Came Niya's respo
Chapter 189
Greg asked this and a whole slew of other questions. In truth, the answers didn't really matter to him. What was most important to him was that he cemented the image of a diligent healer in the man's mind. This was the plan that Greg had come up with. There was a whole town full of women that he could earn lust points from. Most of them, however, were hidden behind the social norms and rules of propriety that pervaded the town. Whether it was getting to them or them coming to him, it would require that he create a plausible reason that wouldn't raise the suspicion of either the husbands or fathers of those involved. That's why he'd been going from one house to the next talking to the men of the house and offering his services where needed. On this first day, Greg hadn't even shown interest in any of the women in the houses that he'd visited. Impatience would probably raise the guard of the men and cause his plans to fall apart before they'd even gotten the chance to take off. He'd fir
