Chapter 351
Once the team understood just how dangerous the corridor truly was, they moved closer together and proceeded with extreme caution.Every step had to be considered carefully. They did not want to trigger another trap, especially after everything they had already encountered. Under that nerve-wracking pressure, they slowly made their way toward the halfway Volt. The halfway Volt was marked by a statue of a blind goddess, its eyes covered by a strip of silk tied around its head. However, the moment the team passed around the statue and continued down the corridor, something strange happened. The statue slowly turned its head backward. The silk covering its eyes slipped slightly.ShingggA pair of unnatural red lights appeared beneath the cloth. From that moment, the illusions affecting Rhys and Kratos became far more intense. The statue was an ancient runic artifact designed to amplify mental magic and illusions. Once the team entered its range, the effects became significantly stronger,

The last book has been studded. The next book follows Kael, a final year student who enters the hugely popular VRMMORPG Legendfall and chooses the one class everyone considers obsolete: archery. While players and NPCs favor powerful magic and other advanced classes, Kael is determined to prove that a bow can stand at the top. With his own hands, he plans to master everything related to archery, from crafting bows and arrows to developing his equipment and skills. Facing countless challenges, defeats, and victories, Kael sets out to become the Supreme Archer and revive archery to its former glory.
Chapter 1
[Welcome to Legendfall!][You have skipped the character creation process.][Your nickname, Perrin, is available.][You’re about to be sent to The Tutorial Island #369][5…4…3…2…1…][You have entered The Tutorial Island.]Rainbow colors filled Kael’s vision before slowly parting like a curtain, revealing the world waiting before him.Just like the first players who had entered the game three months earlier, Kael stared in amazement at the scenery spread beneath him. A dense forest stretched across the land like an endless green carpet, while a massive mountain rose in the distance, its sharp peak piercing through the clouds. Beyond the coastline, the vast ocean stretched toward the horizon, its untamed waters crashing against the shore.A small wooden cabin stood behind him.Kael barely noticed it.He was too busy taking in everything around him. Before he realized what he was doing, he had turned around his starting point several times, completely absorbed in the scenery and unaware
Chapter 2
“Where can I try shooting a few arrows? Also, do we have an unlimited stock of them?” Kael asked after getting familiar with the longbow.Garrick shook his head. “I have five stacks, each of thirty arrows. You’d have to learn how to make arrows yourself.”“I hope you can teach me that… it sounds like it’s best to get a subclass related to armorer, too. Could you help me with that?”“I’m here to help! Of course I can,” Garrick cheerfully replied. He walked past Kael toward a storage area at the back of the wooden cabin. A moment later, he returned carrying five quivers filled with arrows. Each quiver was roughly the length of Kael’s back. At one meter and eighty centimeters tall, he was not a small man, and the thirty arrows packed inside each quiver made them look as though they should be fairly cumbersome.Yet the quivers themselves were surprisingly compact. They were made of leather and seemed to have been enhanced with some kind of magic. Despite being narrow enough to fit comfort

“I missed,” Kael said, looking at the arrow buried in the soft mud.Garrick chuckled. “Keep going.”Kael nodded and tried again. He placed another arrow against the bowstring, drew it back, and released. The arrow missed the effigy again. This time, however, Kael had put more strength into his arm. The extra force gave the arrow greater speed, and although his aim was still off, it landed closer to the target. The effigy stood nearly fifty meters away, yet Kael had already missed ten times.Even so, there was clear progress with every attempt. He was gradually getting used to the bow, learning how much strength he needed and beginning to understand how difficult it was to turn that strength into accurate shots. In fact, the harder he pulled, the worse his accuracy became.Kael was putting so much effort into getting the arrow to the target that he was forgetting the more important part, actually hitting it.Garrick kept his thoughts about Kael’s potential to himself and continued enco
Chapter 4
“Welcome back! I’ve been waiting for you!” Garrick called out the moment Kael logged in.He had been looking forward to taking Kael into the forest and seeing how far the young Archer could develop once he finally faced real monsters.Kael had spent the entire previous week training his Archery and building his muscle memory. He had been so disciplined about it that Garrick found his dedication almost frightening.Kael did not simply stand in one spot and fire arrows until his stamina was completely drained. He took proper breaks at regular intervals, allowing his body to recover before continuing. He also avoided stuffing his mind with too much information at once, keeping each training session focused and efficient.Garrick had not needed to remind him about any of that. His opinion of Kael had only grown throughout the week.“Morning, Garrick,” Kael said with a smile.“Good morning!” Garrick laughed. He made no attempt to hide his excitement or pretend to be patient.Kael was a bre

The forest’s outer edge was far denser than it had appeared from the cliff.Thick roots pushed out of the earth and tangled together with the roots of neighboring trees, creating a natural barrier around the forest. Some of them were so large that Kael could climb them, while the gaps between others were wide enough for an adult to squeeze through.“From the cliff, those trees didn’t appear this big,” Kael said.He hooked his fingers into the rough crevices of one enormous root and pulled himself upward. At certain points, the root was wide enough for him to rest his forearms against it and use his upper body to haul himself higher. After reaching the top of the first barrier, Kael looked down through one of the gaps. The inside of the forest was much darker than the area outside. The thick canopy above blocked most of the sunlight, leaving the forest floor covered in shadows. The trees seemed to form a vast maze that stretched toward the base of The Unconquerable Mountain. And somewh

Monster corpses naturally turned into particles one hour after death. When a monster died, an item drop would also appear. Most new players usually waited a few seconds to see whether anything dropped. If an item appeared beside the corpse, they would inspect it through the system. If nothing appeared, they simply moved on and continued leveling. That was an obvious mistake.Kael already understood that the wolf he had killed could be turned into various useful resources. The problem was that he had no idea how to extract those resources properly, much less skin the animal. He could have tried anyway. There was nothing stopping him from attempting to cut the hide away with whatever he had available. He could even have tried opening the wolf’s mouth and removing its teeth. If he somehow managed to do it properly, the system might reward him with basic survival skills. But Kael was smart enough not to gamble with the corpse. He had never taken a survival class, and randomly cutting into
Chapter 7
Kael’s plans did not go quite as expected. He had originally intended to spend his time hunting wolves, but after asking Garrick to teach him some basic survival skills, his schedule quickly became much fuller. Garrick, who had gradually started to feel more like a big brother than a tutorial helper, seemed eager to pass on everything he knew. He looked to be in his late twenties at most, while Kael was only eighteen, and the difference in experience between them made Garrick an excellent teacher. What started as a few simple survival lessons soon turned into detailed training that covered both wilderness skills and parts of the game’s system that could greatly help Kael during his hunts.Garrick first taught him how to use friction and dry leaves to start a fire without relying on modern tools. Then came the less pleasant lessons. Kael learned where to cut into a carcass, how to remove useful materials without damaging them, and how to prepare tanning solutions by mixing wood ashes w
Chapter 8
Kael lived on the outskirts of the city, far enough from the busy center that most places took some time to reach. The Archery club he had chosen was even farther from downtown, but it was still the closest one to his home. That alone made it worth choosing since he would save several precious hours that would otherwise be spent traveling there and back. The club was only a few bus stops away.“It should be here,” Kael said as he reached the building. From the outside, there was nothing particularly impressive about it. It looked more like an old factory hall than a place where people came to practice Archery. The posters around the entrance were the only obvious signs that Kael had found the right place.Inside was a small reception area with a desk positioned near the entrance. A woman sat behind it, apparently having spent the last few hours with very little to do. Her blue eyes were fixed on her phone, and a pair of headphones covered her ears, completely cutting her off from the
