Chapter 33: Naval battle.
The next day, all the best soldiers of Naviel's navy stood at attention at the port, their expression stern as they all waited for their commander.Admiral Adrian Cole was at the forefront, flanked by his trusted bodyguards.Arthur, dressed in his knightly armour, rode his new war horse, Destrier jr, toward the Stormbringer, the finest ship in Naviel's navy.Upon his arrival, all the soldiers immediately performed a military salute to welcome him onboard."Good morning, your highness." Admiral Cole greets the young prince, immediately he got to where he was standing.Arthur nods his head as a reply."Immediately dispatch everyone to their stations, we depart in a few minutes time." Arthur commanded."Yes, your highness." Admiral Cole replied, and immediately began barking orders to the soldiers.Arthur in the main time, boarded the royal ship and went straight to the command center.Meanwhile, outside, soldiers stood proudly on the decks of their ships, waving farewell to their loved
Chapter 34: Naval battle 2.
Cortex staggered as a second explosion ripped through another ship. Boom!Splintered wood and fire rained down upon the decks. Men who had survived the initial impact were now being shredded by flying debris, their screams swallowed by the infernal roar of battle. But the Navielian navy did not stop. With hardened precision, they cleared their catapults, reloaded more fire stones, and fired again. Within a few seconds, the next batch was already in the air.By the time they struck, the Decresh royal fleet had not even fired one single shot in return.Cortex turned his head, his heart pounding. Most of his ships was ablaze with fire, with sailors leaping into the water as flames consumed their vessel. "Ah!" a nearby scream from one of the burning ships caught his attention. He saw a soldier, his uniform burning, screaming as he desperately tried to smother the fire with his hands. "Hiss!"The image would haunt Cortex for the rest of his life."By the gods." he muttered. Then, he
Chapter 35: Battle for Blackstone fortress.
Arthur observed a while, then lowered his telescope and turned to the captain of the catapult team. "Commence bombardment." The catapult captain immediately snapped into action. He turned to his crew, his voice booming across the deck. "Target distance, load the catapults and get ready to fire!" his voice echoed across the ship. The order was swiftly transmitted to the other ships. Across the fleet, massive catapults groaned, their enormous bulk rolling into position with mechanical precision. "Load the catapults!" the captain shouted once more. Those who hadn't carried out the order, immediately did so. "Get ready to charge!" "Get ready to charge!" the order reechoed across the fleet. Admiral Cole turned to Prince Arthur, standing tall against the howling wind. "Your Highness, all units are prepared to fire." Arthur's expression still remained unreadable. Then, he gave the order that would shatter history. "Fire." Admiral Cole raised his hand, then slammed it down
Chapter 36: Taking over the fortress.
On the beach, Greg Williams, commander of the Navielian army under Prince Arthur's command, peered through his telescope. His face remained calm, emotionless. Then, he saw them.A tide of white-armored knights, charging with fury.Greg exhaled slowly. He had seen charges before. He had studied centuries of battle doctrine. But these knights… they were charging into a war they did not understand."Hold," he ordered. His voice was steady.500 meters…The knights thundered closer, faster than any infantry could hope to react.400 meters…The Navielian army adjusted their weapons.300 meters…200 meters…"Fire!" came Greg's command.Almost immediately arrows shot out. They ripped through the front ranks of the cavalry. Horses shrieked as arrows punched through their skulls, their massive bodies crashing into the earth, sending riders tumbling.Julian, galloping at full speed, heard the crackling sounds made by the arrows, but he did not look back. He did not see the knights behind hi
Chapter 37: Arthur's grand plan.
As Prince Arthur rode toward the fortress, his royal guards flanking him, his eyes were drawn to the battlements above. Talbot and a little group of soldiers had gathered at the highest point of the walls, where the Decresh royal flag still flew, tattered and beaten. Arthur gave him a knowing look, which Talbot replied with a nod of his head. Moments later, the Decresh royal flag was lowered, it's royal golden crest disappearing into history. In its place, the Navielian royal flag was raised, its crimson and gold colors snapping in the wind, a symbol of victory that would be remembered for centuries. Arthur passed through the fortress gates, his horse's hooves echoing on the stone-paved streets, still stained with blood and gunpowder. The air was heavy with the metallic scent of spent cartridges and burned flesh, and the bodies of fallen Decresh knights lay scattered in the rubble-strewn alleys. The dead had not been cleared yet, their armor twisted and broken. Some of the
Chapter 38:Battle at Zarriea plains.
Back at the plains of Eldon, the war between Naviel and Decresh raged on, with neither side able to gain a decisive advantage. Decresh was at a serious disadvantage, taking several beatings, but Naviel wasn't exactly faring much better. The armies were stuck in a bloody stalemate, with losses mounting on both sides. Then, like a bolt of lightning, news reached King Harrison Delong's ears: the Leviathan Sea and the Blackwood Fortress, two crucial strongholds, had fallen to Naviel. The king's face turned beet red with rage. "How did this happen?!" he thundered. But even the messenger who delivered the message couldn't give a proper response. In a fit of anger, he summoned General Valkor, a seasoned but lesser-known commander, and tasked him with taking reinforcements to the Blackwood fortress to crush the Navielian army under Prince Arthur's command. "You are not to return until you've driven them back completely." he growled."Yes, your majesty."Just as General Valkor was about t
Chapter 39: A war between superior gods and mere mortals.
The Decresh army, confident in its overwhelming numbers, began a full-scale assault with a singular objective: to scatter Naviel's defensive line with sheer brute force. At the head of the charge, Felix Dante rode astride his warhorse, his keen eyes dissecting the enemy's formation. What he saw only deepened his confidence.Arthur's battle line was thin, too thin. For an army so outnumbered, the only logical course of action should have been to extend the line wider to avoid flanking. Yet in doing so, Arthur had sacrificed depth, making his formation fragile. A smirk tugged at Dante's lips. This was folly. A child's attempt at war. His knights, clad in plate armor and mounted on powerful horses, would crash into that feeble line like a tidal wave against sand.He raised his sword high."All forces advance!"A great roar erupted from the Decresh ranks. Thousands of heavily armored knights surged forward, their banners snapping in the wind, their lances gleaming in the sun. Th
Chapter 40: A devastating crushing defeat.

The Solaris River ran red with the blood of the fallen, as the armies clashed in a brutal dance of de
