31: The Smith's Plan
"Sir, are you going to the banquet," Tiger asked as Max laughed from the car right before Fiona's company."Well, that would depend on their attitude, I might attend and I might not, I don't really care actually," Max shrugged, turning around preparing to walk into the company."But sir, are you going to help the old man?" Tiger inquired again. There was no way to know or guess what sir was thinking. The only safe way out was to ask him..And one thing about Max was that he was very straightforward and thus would tell them the truth."That depends on his attitude and sincerity, let's see first," Max shrugged, placing his hands into his pockets."Also, that depends on Maya," He added walking into the company leaving a dumbfounded Tiger who wondered what this had to do with Maya. What could the old man want? No matter how he thought about it, he just couldn't wrap his fingers around it.Well, the master knew best and he was sure he already knew what the old man wanted, so he didn't wor
32:Donald Thompson
In no time, the taxi pulled up before the Smith's family Villa. Alighting from the taxi, Fiona took a deep breath. She could already guess what was waiting for her.But then, she could only hope the other party was going to be lenient with their demands, afar all, she didn't know what they really wanted."Don't worry, it would be fine," Max smiled gently, squeezing Fiona's palm as they walked into the Villa."Here you are Fiona," Ethan's excited voice came the moment the two stepped into the Villa."Max?" He frowned, seeing Max walk in with Fiona. He wasn't expecting the other party to come along with her. Well, he didn't care, his presence wasn't going to change the outcome of anything. He couldn't help but smile lightly remembering Max's warning. However, everything was fair in war, so no one could say he had cheated."Nephew, come have a seat," Dan's enthusiastic voice came as he pulled Fiona away from Max, making her sit right beside an unfamiliar figure who was already in the sit

Demands
Fiona's brows narrowed, her expression turning dark as she stared at the supposed young master of the Thompson family. If it were not for her grandfather and Uncle giving the idiot a chance, she was sure there was no way she would let him talk to her."I've heard a lot about you," Donald soon broke the silence, staring at Fiona who was still standing."I'm aware of how stubborn you are, but before me, you can't afford to be stubborn, cause if you do, then I'm afraid you'd be in a tight spot," He grinned, carrying on, not caring to hide the lust in his eyes.He also knew of the plot Ethan and Dan had made and thus was pretty confident.Besides, according to Ethan, there was no way Fiona with her pride would agree to his demands. So it was better to make it outrageous, so that later when she was kicked to the curb, she wouldn't have any problem rejecting it.The more outrageous the demand was, the better. This would give them a better assurance that she would refuse."So what are your d
34: Brewing Trouble
"Reasonable?" Fiona hissed, her expression dark. What the heck did he think he was talking about? Did he think she was too helpless to do anything? Or who the hell did he think he was? There was no way she was going to agree to any of his terms. Not only did he demand she divorce Max, he also wanted her to cut ties with Rose? Was the other party senile, or were they just trying to mess with her mind. Taking in a deep breath, Fiona glared at Donald and forced a smile, "I'm sorry, but I can't accept those terms of yours, so I don't think this cooperation would work out," Fiona responded, her voice resolute. "Are you sure about that?" Donald's lips curled up into a smirk, staring at Zoey. "Yes, and I'll be taking my leave now," Zoey nodded and turned around, grabbing Max's hands preparing to leave. "Zoey, it would be better if you just accepted this right now, I think this would produce the best outcome for all of us," Dan's voice came just as Fiona was about to leave. "

When Are You Going?
(Nighttime)"Master, should we go in now?" Tiger broke the silence, glancing at Max who stood before the building staring at it.They had been standing for a while, staring at the building and he had been wondering why his master had been staring at the building for such a long time."Not yet," Max shook his head, his gaze still on the building. The banquet had started, but there was no way he was going to go in early.Though he was there early, he still had to delay a bit. Besides, he was waiting for that idiot to come.He was sure he would also be here, so it was better to teach him a lesson.Tiger glanced at Max and didn't say anything. The master had already told him what happened. He was actually more pumped to beat up Donald more than Max was. After all, in his eyes, whoever dared to covet the master's wife deserves death."Dylan," Max suddenly spoke, his voice low, but loud enough for Tiger to hear.Tiger's body jerked hearing Max call him. He knew Max was serious at the moment
36:Ignoring Him
The two turned around, narrowing their brows, wondering who was so brave to interrupt them. Tiger was known for his fierce temper. In the army, no one could interrupt him while speaking and get away with interrupting him while talking. The last person who did regret it so much he swore he was never going to try it again. As for Max, he was so calm, but he was unapproachable. The only ones who could come close to him were Tiger and Maya. And even before Maya could come close to him, that was after she got together with Tiger and Max had acted as the wingman. Only then did she know how approachable Max was. But before then, she didn't know and thus had always been afraid to approach him. "And who are you?" Tiger growled, his voice rather unpleasant, glaring at the figure before them. "That's the idiot I was telling you about," Max smirked, staring at Donald who seemed to be angry. "Ohhh," Tiger muttered, relaxing back on the chair realizing who it was. Though he wanted

Tiger's Thoughts
Donald froze, his eyes nearly popping out of their sockets. It seemed like these two were lucky. There was no way he would do what he had in mind to them right now. He couldn't let his grandfather see them.Else, he would be in trouble. Thinking like this, he took one final look, then hurried to his grandfather's side. This way, he would be able to stop Max and Tiger from coming over. As long as they didn't meet him, then there would be no problem. With that motion set in mind, Donald finally relaxed and let out a sigh of relief.Tiger and Max on the other hand glanced at Donald who had gone to meet the old man. They couldn't care less about the old man not talking about Donald."Sir, what should we do?" Tiger broke the silence, his eyes on the head of the Thompson family."Worry not, the old man will find his way towards us," Max shrugged, turning around acting as though he didn't see the commotion.Tiger nodded and did the same. There was no way he was going to care about this too.
38: Donald's Fear
Max glanced at the old man who stood before him humbly, not daring to look at him and couldn't help but chuckle.Seemed like he was far more respectful than he had thought. It was just Donald who was a scumbag."Sir, how about I take you in," The Old man suggested, staring at Max who had quite a gentle smile on his face."There's no need for us to talk," Max shook his head, standing up from the chair. The old man was here, it was time to warn him about his grandson, else he feared he might not have his grandson anytime soon.Donald on the other hand was sweating bullets. What the heck was happening? How did his grandfather know Max?And why was he being respectful to him? No matter how much he tried processing it, he just couldn't understand what was happening.Taking in another deep breath, he tried to say something, but the next moment, he felt the butler's hands clamp tightly to his shoulders.Butler was the closest person to his grandfather in the entire house and he was well resp
39: Offending The Heads
(The Next day)"Call Riley, I have work for her," Max instructed, stepping out of the house alongside TigerFiona had gone to work, Rose and Amelia had gone to work. So Tiger came to visit. He had nothing to do, so he wanted to be with Max."Alright master," Tiger nodded, pulling out his phone to call the person Max requested.Riley was also a soldier in the army. She was not part of any of the groups. Rather, she was the head of the intelligence team and was strong in her rights. She hardly participated in battles like the others, but she was an indispensable part of the team. Also, her strength was not much weaker than the leaders of the five other groups just right after Tiger.Max was the strongest. Though they had no idea what Realm he was in."Hello, Riley," Tiger began, seeing that the person at the other end picked up the call."Sir!" Riley's voice came, sounding rather respectful."The Master wants to have a chat with you." Tiger didn't care about this and just directly passe
40: Bargain
"Hello, Old man!" Max chuckled as he said to the person on the other end."Max!" An angry old voice came from the other end of the phone"Old man, you don't need to get annoyed at all. You're old aren't you?" Max taunted."You...." The old voice sighed helplessly. On the other end of the phone was a man in his early fifties dressed in military attire holding the phone like he was going to break the phone into pieces.Inside the room were four other men just like him, all trying to hide their laughter. Though these men looked old, they were not to be messed with. They were the five heads of the Army Heads. Their decisions held great weight in the army."So what do you want, old man?" Max's rude voice sounded, not giving the other party any face."Do you know what one of your men did?" The voice of the man finally got serious."Yeah, she called me." Max shrugged like it was nothing serious."So, are you going to hand her over?" The voice probed, knowing well that Max was not going to co
