BRONZE BASE SCROLL.
“Bro, I want to stay here… and think about it. With how our world is going, anything concerning Elyria that we do is a risk,” Maya said.“You’re crazy,” Micheal replied in annoyance. “The world being in danger is none of my fucking business. You’re the only family I’ve got left, and you’re talking such trash.”Maya went quiet. She only wanted to stay with her brother; she hadn’t expected him to react that way.Kelvin frowned at Micheal’s statement. Not caring whether the world was in danger? This guy was far too audacious.“But I… I… can’t stay here. Where do you want me to go? I still want to take the risk,” Maya said.“Fuck that.” Micheal threw his ticket toward Kelvin. “We’re leaving.”Kelvin was astonished. He hadn’t expected Micheal to decide so suddenly.“Guild leader?” the core members who had been watching the drama called out.“Ageless, I hope you know what you’re doing. With your talent, you would really go a long way in Elyria,” Kelvin said. He had been keeping an eye on Mic
ACCEPT OR ACCEPT.
Micheal immediately opened his phone. Thankfully, there was still network even though they were underground. He opened his group. He quickly realized he was already late. There were messages in the group already. Leo: This place is insane.Gina: Maya, how do you survive here? You’re not even on Terminal 1.5 yet.Maya: I guess I have to quicken things up then and maybe get my bracelet converted before the converting day.Vanishing Clouds: Seems like we all have to help her train in Terminal 1. From the information I got, registration starts in 5 days. We have to ensure she’s at least level 20.Alex: This place is real shit, damn.Ageless: I’m not too bothered about Elyria battles. Her ability to make opponents heavier is already a big boost. But she didn’t register with us for Firewall Dojo, and I’m more concerned about her physical fights.Selene: Guild leader? Where have you been?Logan: Guild leader, I have a suggestion. Among all of us, Dinna is the only martial arts expert. I thi
CAT-LIKE HUMANS.
Why can’t I refuse this damn fight? Micheal thought in annoyance.Selene, who stood close to him, could already see what his interface displayed and could more or less guess what he was thinking.“The scroll said that if you haven’t battled in a new week, then the first challenger must be accepted.”Selene said. Micheal frowned, clearly irritated. What kind of messed-up rule was that?As he stared at Henry, his expression hardened. Without hesitating any further, he accepted the fight. At this point, he had already decided he was going to teach this guy how to behave. The moment he accepted, his normal blue Elyria bracelet turned a deep red, clearly signaling that a fight was about to begin.People around them immediately noticed the commotion, and the instant they saw the red glow, they began to step back, creating space.“A fight is happening already?”“Who are these people trying to fight so soon?”Micheal felt annoyed. He had wanted to keep a low profile, yet somehow this Henry of
ASAAM
Micheal ran as fast as his legs could carry him, but it was all in vain, he was quickly caught. A wave of dread quickly washed over him, he wondered what his fate would be now. “Hey kiddo, did the humans send you over to be eaten? Haha!” one of them laughed.Micheal looked at them more closely now, because before they were far away and he could make out how they looked. They resembled mutated animals or maybe humans. They had human bodies, the sapiens trait, but that was all. Their skin was slightly hairier than a human's. Their faces were feline, with cat-like fangs, lion tails, and the claws of tigers.Soon, they carried Micheal into a city. It bustled with life, but unlike any human city he had ever seen, the activity came entirely from cat-like creatures. As they marched him through the streets, Micheal felt the gaze of every passerby, all staring at him with predatory curiosity. He actually felt like if he was dropped now, he might actually be eaten alive. They brought him to
MAGRA.
When the guard finally left, Micheal stared at the vast field in exasperation. He started methodically uprooting the plants. Each one held exactly twelve Elyria crystals. He worked quickly, stuffing the crystals into the cosmic bag. There was no time to hesitate, any delay could cost him his life.As he moved through the field, he practiced ASAAM—A Step and a Mile. But it was difficult. His level was too low, and to increase it, he had to connect something called soul beads within his abdomen region..In his abdomen three beads rested, all brown in color. To ascend to Silver level, he needed to use his spirit qi to form a thread connecting the three beads. Only then could he progress. Each bead was bigger than the last, representing the low, middle, and high tiers of Bronze level. Each tier increased the difficulty enormously. But here lay the real challenge: spirit qi wasn’t solid. It was invisible energy, barely perceptible to the naked eye, and controlling it was a monumental task.
I JUST SIGNED MY DEATH.
Micheal staggered backward, clutching his chest. The pain felt real, too real. It was like his own attack had been turned against him completely. He gritted his teeth, forcing himself to stay standing. If he lost focus now, he was dead.“So… that’s your trick,” Micheal muttered, breathing heavily.Magra smiled, taking a slow step forward. “Its not a trick. It's simply talent, Something you clearly don’t understand.”Micheal didn’t reply immediately. His mind was racing.Attacking directly won’t work… every hit comes back to me.He tightened his grip on the golden guns. He stopped firing, he had to look for another way to win. Magra frowned slightly. “What? Already giving up?”Micheal exhaled slowly. Then he took a step.Just one step. But in the next moment, he was gone.Magra’s eyes widened slightly as Micheal appeared several m
DRAGON SPIRIT.
“How did you know?” Micheal texted Aina back. He couldn’t help but wonder how both the necromancer and Aina had found out that he had trailed off.“It’s easy to know with my connections. We have informers in the cat base, and they reported that a human trailed into their base. They even mentioned Ageless. It wasn’t hard to guess it was you.”Aina replied almost immediately.“I have been marked by forced login,” Micheal wrote to her.“Fuck, that shit is crazy. How did you get yourself into such a mess? Well, hang in tight—I’ll see what I can do,” Aina texted back.“Thanks,” Micheal replied.Just as he was about to switch off his interface, another message came in. It was from Kaida.“You better not die, reckless boy.”Micheal finally smiled.“I won’t, my love,” he texted back without a second thought.Far away, in a large lounge within the Silver Base, Kaida snorted when she saw Micheal’s message.“Foolish boy,” she thought to herself, though a slight worry lingered in her heart. How h
FIGHTING THE DRAGON SPIRIT.
The dragon spirit roared the moment the net tightened around its body. Its muscles expanded, and the ground beneath it cracked from the pressure. The guards moved immediately. Two rushed forward with curved blades, slashing at its legs in quick, controlled strikes. Their movements were sharp and aimed at the joints. Sparks flew as their weapons scraped against the creature’s thick scales.A spear wielder stepped in from behind them and thrust forward. The spear glowed blue as it shot toward the dragon spirit’s side, striking hard but only sinking in slightly before stopping. The dragon spirit reacted instantly. Its tail swung in a wide arc, it was fast and heavy. One guard tried to block with his shield but was hit directly and sent flying into a tree, his body going limp on impact.Another guard used a chain weapon, swinging it forward and wrapping it tightly around one of the dragon spirit’s legs. He pulled hard, trying to restrict its movement, but the creature jerked its limb with
FIGHTING TO THE DEATH.
“Finally… Bronze level, mid-tier,” Micheal muttered as he opened his eyes.He didn’t return to the cat base immediately after escaping the dragon spirit. Instead, he had moved to a quiet corner at the edge of the outer forest and cultivated in silence. Slowly, carefully, he guided his energy until he was able to form a thin thread in his abdomen, finally connecting the mid-tier bead to the smaller one.Only then did he stop. Now, as he opened his eyes, he looked down at his lap and shook his head lightly. The small white cat was still there, curled up and sleeping peacefully. He had tried to leave it behind several times, but each attempt failed. The moment he moved too far, it would wake up and follow him again.Seeing that there was nothing he could do, Micheal picked it up and carried it with him as he returned to the cat base. The cat let out a soft “meow” as they entered, its eyes moving curiously over the standing cat-like people around them. When Micheal reached the palace, Lor
CORPSES.
Micheal didn’t wait. The moment he saw all of them looking at him, he acted.A golden light flashed in his hand, forming into a sword. It was his Elyria weapon, the golden sword, but almost immediately, it changed shape. The blade split and reshaped into two golden guns, one in each hand.He stepped back quickly, putting distance between himself and the others. The cat men spread out as they rushed him, trying to surround him from different sides. But Micheal noticed something. The Silver-ranked man didn’t move.He stood at the edge of the field, holding his dagger loosely, watching everything like it had nothing to do with him.Micheal didn’t understand it, but he didn’t have time to think. They were already closing in.He immediately raised his guns. But for a second… he froze. His heart was beating too fast. His hands felt tight. Everything was happening too quickly. But then, he immediately tightened his grip on the gun and fired. If he didn't fight he was going to die. He had to
