CHAPTER 11: WELCOME TO JUJUTSU HIGH
The gates of Tokyo Jujutsu High looked like something from a temple.Tonji stood at the entrance with Hana, both of them carrying their entire lives in two duffel bags. Mom had cried when they left. Happy crying, she said. But her hands shook anyway."This place is huge," Hana whispered. She wasn't wrong. The school sat on a mountain, surrounded by forest. Traditional buildings mixed with modern structures. Barrier techniques shimmered in the air. Tonji could see them through his father's ring."You must be the Zenin kids."A large panda walked toward them. An actual panda. Walking on two legs. Talking.Tonji blinked. "What the hell?""Language," the panda said cheerfully. "I'm Panda. Second-year student. Yes, I'm a cursed corpse. Yes, I can talk. No, I don't eat bamboo. Any other questions?""So many questions," Tonji muttered.Hana elbowed him. "Hi, Panda. I'm Hana. This is my brother Tonji. Thank you for meeting us.""No problem! Principal Yaga asked me to show you around." Panda s
CHAPTER 12: FIRST DAY TRAINING
Five AM came too fast.Tonji dragged himself out of bed, every muscle screaming from yesterday's sparring with Maki. He threw on training clothes and stumbled outside. The training field was already full.Maki stood at the center, looking fresh and alert. Around her were Itadori, Fushiguro, Kugisaki, Panda, and two other students Tonji didn't know."You're late," Maki said.Tonji checked his phone. "It's 4:59.""Early is before time. On time is late. Late is unacceptable. Twenty push-ups.""Are you serious?""Forty now. Want to make it sixty?"Tonji dropped and did forty push-ups. The other students watched with varying levels of sympathy."Rough," Itadori whispered. "She's like this every morning.""Why are you all here?" Tonji asked between push-ups."Mixed training," Panda explained. "We train together sometimes. Gojo-sensei's idea. Says we learn better as a group."Tonji finished the push-ups and stood. Maki nodded."Today we're doing combat drills. You'll spar with each person he
CHAPTER 13: THE SHOPPING MALL CURSE
The shopping mall looked normal from the outside.People walked in and out, carrying bags. Talking on phones. Living their normal lives. They had no idea a curse lived inside.Tonji stood with his team: Itadori, Fushiguro, Kugisaki, and Maki. Gojo supervised from a distance, leaning against a wall with his hands in his pockets."The curse is Grade 3," Gojo explained. "Born from consumer greed and shopping addiction. It hides in the clearance section. Attacks people who are alone.""How many victims?" Maki asked."Three missing in the last week. All found later with their wallets empty. Traumatized. Don't remember what happened.""So it steals money?""And memories. It feeds on the shame of overspending." Gojo looked at Tonji. "This is your show, new guy. You're team leader.""What? Why me?""Because you need practice making decisions under pressure. Your team will follow your orders. Don't get them killed."Tonji's stomach dropped. "That's a lot of pressure.""Welcome to being a sorce
CHAPTER 14: ZENIN CLAN SUMMONS
The letter arrived three weeks after Tonji started at Jujutsu High.Formal. Expensive paper. Sealed with the Zenin clan crest.Tonji stared at it like it might explode."You gonna open it?" Maki asked. They were in the training yard, taking a water break."Do I have to?""Probably should. The Zenin clan doesn't send letters for fun."Tonji opened it. Read. His hands started shaking."What does it say?" Hana appeared, worried. She'd been practicing barriers nearby."They're summoning me. For 'evaluation and placement within the clan structure.' Three days from now."Maki's expression darkened. "Bastards.""Can I refuse?""Legally? Yes. Practically? They'll make your life hell if you do." Maki took the letter and read it. "This is Naobito's handwriting. The clan head himself. They're taking you seriously.""Is that good or bad?""Both. Good because they won't kill you outright. Bad because they want to use you."Hana grabbed Tonji's arm. "Don't go. It's obviously a trap.""If I don't go
CHAPTER 15: AFTERMATH AND RESOLUTION
Tonji woke up in the Jujutsu High infirmary.Every part of his body screamed in pain. Three cracked ribs. Broken nose. Concussion. Multiple bruises."Welcome back," Gojo said. He sat in a chair next to the bed, eating candy. "You look terrible.""Feel worse.""The Zenin clan really did a number on you. Naoya especially.""How long was I out?""Two days. Your Heavenly Restriction healing kicked in, but broken ribs take time." Gojo offered candy. "Want some?""Can't eat. Hurts to breathe.""Fair."Hana burst into the room. "Brother!" She rushed to his bedside. "Are you okay? Maki told me what happened. Those bastards!""Language," Tonji said weakly."I don't care! They hurt you! Threatened us! They're awful!""I know. But I'm okay.""You're not okay. You're broken." Hana's eyes filled with tears. "This is my fault. If I wasn't weak, if I could protect myself...""Stop. This isn't your fault. This is the Zenin clan being who they are. Monsters."Gojo stood up. "I'll give you two some pri
CHAPTER 16: WEAPON MASTERY
Three months after the Zenin clan confrontation, Tonji had changed. He was faster. Stronger. More confident. His Heavenly Restriction had fully manifested. He could lift a car. Sprint faster than olympic athletes. Perceive attacks before they landed. But weapons were still his weakness."Again," Maki commanded.Tonji attacked with his bo staff. Maki disarmed him in two moves."You're relying on strength," she said. "Weapons aren't about strength. They're about technique. Extension of your body. Part of your soul.""That's poetic. Also unhelpful.""Then let me be helpful. Stop thinking. Stop trying. Just move."They sparred for another hour. Slowly, Tonji started to feel it. The staff wasn't a tool. It was part of him. An extension of his arms. His movements became fluid. Natural. The staff whistled through the air with precision."Better!" Maki said. "Now try the chain-blade."Tonji switched weapons. The chain-blade was harder. Required timing. Distance control. Momentum management.H
CHAPTER 17: THE PURGER'S EVOLUTION
The Purger stood in an abandoned warehouse, surrounded by the ashes of fifteen curses.Count: 96,103.Its blue flames blinked. Hot. Intense. Beautiful in their destruction. But something was wrong. The Purger had been hunting for four months now. Eliminating curses. Counting down toward zero. But lately... things felt different. It had developed preferences. It liked hunting anger curses more than sadness curses. It avoided killing curses near schools because children's laughter made it pause. This was wrong. The Purger shouldn't have preferences. Shouldn't care about human emotions. It was a curse. A weapon. A solution to a problem.Yet here it was, *feeling* things."Fascinating."The Purger turned. A man stood in the warehouse entrance. Ancient eyes. Modern clothes. Cursed energy that felt wrong. Layered, stolen, stitched together from multiple sources."Kenjaku," the Purger said. It knew this name. Felt it in the collective cursed knowledge all curses possessed."You remember me.
CHAPTER 18: WEAPON TRAINING BEGINS
Three weeks after meeting Maki, Tonji stood in the weapons room at Jujutsu High. The room was huge. Walls covered in every weapon imaginable. Swords, spears, axes, chains, staffs, and things Tonji couldn't even name."Pick three," Nanami said. He stood with arms crossed. Watching. Evaluating."Three weapons?""You need versatility. Heavenly Restriction users can't rely on cursed techniques. We adapt. Use tools. Master multiple fighting styles."Tonji looked at the walls. So many choices. Too many choices."How do I know which ones?""Instinct. Your body knows what feels right. Trust it."Tonji walked slowly. Touching weapons. Feeling their weight. Their balance.A katana felt too formal. Too rigid. Like the Zenin clan would use.A giant hammer was too slow. Too predictable. Then his hand touched a collapsible bo staff. It extended with a snap. Six feet long. Light but solid."This one," Tonji said."Good choice. Reach advantage. Defensive capability. Next."Tonji continued searching.
CHAPTER 19: THE PURGER EVOLVES
The Purger stood in the ruins of an industrial district. Around it lay the remains of five Grade 2 curses. All eliminated in under ten minutes.Count: 97,234.The countdown continued but something was different, the Purger felt... strange.More aware, more present, more... something. It didn't have words for the sensation."Interesting," a voice said from behind. The Purger spun. Defensive. Ready to attack.Gojo Satoru stood there. Hands in pockets, casual, smiling. Like appearing in an active curse elimination zone was completely normal."You're," The Purger said. "The strongest sorcerer.""That's me! You can call me Gojo. Can I call you Purger? Or do you prefer something else?""I don't have other names.""Hm. That's sad. Everyone deserves a name. How about... Ember? Blaze? Inferno?""I am The Purger. That is sufficient.""If you say so." Gojo walked closer. Looking at the curse remains. "Five Grade 2s. Nice work. You're efficient.""Efficiency is necessary. Many curses remain.""Ye
CHAPTER 20: TEAM MISSION
"Your first real team mission," Gojo announced.Tonji, Itadori, Fushiguro, and Nobara stood in the briefing room. All looking nervous."Special Grade curse?" Itadori guessed."Grade 1. But it's killed three sorcerers already. So we're treating it seriously.""What kind of curse?" Fushiguro asked."Contempt. Born from decades of workplace bullying and corporate hierarchy abuse. Manifested in an office building downtown.""Contempt curse," Nobara said. "Great. Because fighting our feelings of inadequacy in physical form sounds fun.""It gets worse," Gojo continued. "The curse creates hierarchies. Makes people feel worthless. Attacks target self-esteem and confidence. Psychological warfare."Tonji understood immediately. This was dangerous for him specifically. He already struggled with self-worth. A curse that amplified that? Disaster."How do we fight it?" he asked."Together. Support each other. Remind each other of your value. Don't let it isolate you mentally."They geared up. Tonji
