Welcome to Skull Island
The sun was slowly sinking beneath the horizon, painting the vast ocean in shades of orange and crimson as darkness began creeping across the waters surrounding Skull Island. The waves crashed against the sides of the approaching boats, their engines roaring through the otherwise quiet evening. One by one, several dark vessels cut through the water, moving swiftly toward the island with their lights deliberately kept off. The men aboard remained unusually quiet, their weapons already prepared as they watched the distant silhouette of Skull Island grow larger with every passing minute. These were the Iron Wolves.Kade stood at the front of the lead boat, his expression cold and unreadable as the wind swept through his hair. Beside him stood Victor Crane and Michael, both fully armed and dressed for battle. Behind them, dozens of Iron Wolves members occupied the other boats, their faces tense as they prepared themselves for whatever awaited them on the island. They had deliberately avoi
Welcome to Skull Island 2
The Iron Wolves jumped from the boats one after another, boots sinking into the wet sand as they quickly formed several groups. Weapons were drawn, and the men moved with surprising discipline as they followed Victor’s hand signals. The other boats reached the shoreline moments later, unloading the remaining fighters.Within less than a minute, more than a hundred men stood on the beach.Kade stepped down last. His shoes touched the sand.He looked toward the dark interior of the island.“Stay together,” he said. “Don’t make unnecessary noise.”“Yes, Boss!”The men responded almost simultaneously.Victor moved beside him and raised his hand, signaling everyone to prepare. For a brief moment, nothing happened. The island remained completely silent. The only sound was the crashing of waves behind them.Victor slowly lowered his hand.“Let’s go.”The Iron Wolves began moving. They had barely taken several steps when—BOOOOOOOOM!A deafening alarm suddenly erupted from somewhere deep with
I’ll kill Myself if you touch me!
Inside the fortress, Elara had been cleaned and changed into a simple white silk robe before being brought back to Jackson’s private chamber. Her wrists were still bound, and although the robe was meant to make her appear presentable, she felt nothing but disgust and fear as the guards shoved her into the room and locked the door behind her.Jackson was waiting. He had changed out of his earlier clothes and was wearing only his underwear, lounging as though he were preparing to enjoy an ordinary evening rather than holding a hostage inside his fortress. The moment his eyes landed on Elara, an ugly smile spread across his face.“So,” he murmured, rising from his seat. “Much better.”Elara immediately stepped backward.“Stay away from me.”Jackson chuckled and took another step.“You really should stop making things difficult. You already know why you’re here.”Elara’s eyes darted around the room desperately. She needed something—anything—that could give her a chance to defend herself.
Why do you choose Kade?
“Please…”Elara’s voice trembled as she stared at Jackson, the knife still held tightly against her neck. “Don’t hurt him.”For a moment, Jackson simply stared at her as though he had misheard. Then he laughed.A deep, mocking laugh escaped his throat as he slowly shook his head. “Why should I listen to you?”Elara’s expression tightened.“Because I’m asking you.”“You think that means anything to me?” Jackson stepped closer, his eyes narrowing. “Kade has already killed two of my most valuable men. He destroyed part of my organization and has now marched onto my island with an army. You expect me to simply let him walk away because you asked nicely?”“I’ll give you anything.”The words escaped Elara before she could reconsider them.Jackson stopped. The amusement disappeared from his face.“Anything?”Elara swallowed hard. She knew exactly what she was offering, and even thinking about it made her stomach twist with disgust. But the thought of Kade dying because he had come here for h
Plan B!
Meanwhile back at the shoreline where Kade and the iron wolves arrived with their boats. The moment the realization settled in, Victor Crane’s expression became grim. They were surrounded.Every direction was occupied by members of the Black Serpent Organization, their weapons glinting beneath the harsh lights that had suddenly illuminated the shoreline. Machetes, axes, steel pipes, and various other weapons were raised as hundreds of men slowly tightened the circle around the Iron Wolves. The element of surprise they had counted on was gone, and with it went the advantage Kade had hoped to exploit.Victor glanced around before turning toward Kade. “Boss, what do we do now? They knew we were coming. Our entire plan has been exposed, and there are too many of them. If we try to force our way through together, we’ll lose too much time.”Kade remained completely calm. His eyes swept across the battlefield, taking in the number of enemies, their positions, the surrounding structures, and
Is Elara Voss here?
Without wasting another second, Kade charged toward the fortress. The massive black structure rose above the rest of the island like a monument to the Black Serpent Organization’s influence, its dark walls reinforced with thick steel plating and surrounded by several layers of security. Floodlights swept across the courtyard, illuminating the numerous armed men stationed around the entrance. Unlike the ordinary members fighting the Iron Wolves outside, these men were clearly part of Jackson Skull’s personal security force. Their weapons were already raised, their fingers resting against the triggers as Kade approached without the slightest hesitation.“Stop right there!” one of them shouted. “Another step and we open fire!”Kade didn’t stop. His eyes remained fixed on the fortress ahead.Several of the men exchanged confused glances before one of them stepped forward, his rifle pointed directly at Kade’s chest. “Did you hear what I said? Get on your knees and surrender! You’re surroun
Target in the Fortress!
Kade stood calmly in the middle of them.He hadn’t even bothered to look at the man he had struck. His eyes were already moving toward the fortress.“Where is she?”The remaining guards finally snapped out of their shock.“OPEN FIRE!”Gunfire erupted.BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!Dozens of bullets tore through the air.Kade didn’t retreat. He simply brought his hands together.Clap!A tremendous burst of Aether erupted from his body. The air itself seemed to explode.BOOOOOOM!A violent gust swept across the courtyard, swallowing the incoming bullets and sending them tumbling harmlessly into the distance. The armed men were caught in the same blast. Their bodies were lifted from the ground and thrown backward, weapons flying from their hands as they crashed against vehicles, walls, and concrete barriers.Several men tried to regain their footing.Kade was already there. His fist drove into one man’s stomach.BAM!Another attempted to attack him from the side, only to receive a backhand acr
Mysterious Man
Meanwhile, inside Jackson’s private chamber, Elara remained standing near the center of the room, her wrists still bound as she watched the man in front of her with barely concealed hatred. Jackson had been studying her for several minutes, but his questions had little to do with her. His interest was entirely focused on the mysterious man who had somehow become important enough to make her risk everything.“Tell me about him,” Jackson said again.Elara frowned. “I already told you. I don’t know what you want me to say.”“Everything.”“I don’t know everything about Kade.”Jackson’s eyes narrowed.“How can that be?”Elara shook her head. “Because he doesn’t talk about himself. I’ve known him for just a short while, but even I don’t know much about his past.”That answer only made Jackson more curious. He leaned forward slightly. “His family?”“I don’t know.”“His parents?”“I don’t know.”“Where was he born?”“I don’t know.”Jackson stared at her.“And his real surname?”Elara hesitate
You’re going to die for this!
Tears rolled down Elara’s cheeks as she stood trembling before Jackson, her mind already made up. She hated the thought of what she was about to do, hated the humiliation and disgust twisting inside her, but none of it mattered anymore. Kade had come to Skull Island because of her, and she could not stand by and watch him die because he had tried to save her. If sacrificing herself was the only way to keep him alive, then she was willing to pay that price. With trembling fingers, she slowly reached for the hem of her dress, her eyes lowered as she fought back another wave of tears. Jackson watched her closely, an ugly smile spreading across his face as he waited for her to surrender to the situation he had created.“That’s right,” he muttered, his eyes filled with anticipation. “Maybe you’re finally beginning to understand the difference between us.”Elara said nothing. Her fingers continued trembling as she struggled to maintain her composure, but before she could take another step,
The Disciplinary Team
Jackson suddenly burst into laughter. The sound echoed through the damaged chamber, loud and almost hysterical, as he slowly pushed himself away from the broken wall. Dust slid from his shoulders while several pieces of shattered stone fell around his feet. Despite the destruction Kade had caused throughout the fortress, Jackson didn’t look frightened. If anything, there was an unmistakable excitement in his eyes.“So you finally made it.”His gaze locked onto Kade.“Kade.”Kade’s expression remained cold.Jackson spread his arms slightly, almost as though welcoming an old friend.“I’ve been waiting for you.”He chuckled.“The man who dared challenge the Sovereign. The mysterious bastard who appeared out of nowhere and destroyed an entire faction of the Crimson Syndicate. The same man who killed my precious Cain and Abel.”His smile disappeared.“And now you’ve marched straight into my den.”Kade didn’t respond. His attention was on Elara. She was standing several meters behind Jackso
