011: Stole
Everyone in the room paused. All attention had shifted to the scene between Dylan and the woman. The atmosphere was tense as Dylan stared at her. “What are you talking about?” “Humph!” The woman scoffed. “I can’t believe this. I thought only high-profile and distinguished people attended this event, but who would have thought they also let thieves in?” “What are you talking about?” Dylan repeated. The woman raised her finger. “My ring. My golden ring I got for $100 million! It was on my fingers just a few seconds ago. But when you bumped into me, it suddenly went missing!” As soon as she said that, everyone began muttering aloud, staring in shock. “What? He stole the ring?” “How shameless! I can’t believe someone would come here to steal.” “Wait, isn’t that the young man who was with Mr. Yama? The one he praised. How is he stealing around now?” A lady scoffed. “I thought as much. Perhaps he’s just a knock-off and a show-off who actually came here to steal around.”
012: Face.
They knew that face. The one that belonged to the man they had ganged up against and betrayed months ago. That was the face of Dylan Vin. Emily stared at Oliver in shock. "That's him..." she muttered. Oliver was stunned. "What the hell is he doing here... how is this possible...?" Emily became scared. She couldn't believe her eyes. "What do we do...? It's definitely him..." Oliver calmed himself and then said, "Calm down. Instead of panicking and wondering how he's here... let's just eliminate him immediately." Emily nodded. "But... how did he get this...? How did it all happen? Wasn't he poor in jail or something?" Oliver convinced her. "Maybe he's faking it. Seeing how he stole something, he's obviously a fraud. Let's use this opportunity and take him down once and for good." They agreed on this and stared at the scene again. --- "Ma'am, you don't have vital information to prove this point. If you keep making malicious accusations, I'll have to take action," Dylan insisted
013: Guts
Everyone was muttering about how Dylan was probably walking around with a knock-off. But Dylan simply kept his eyes on Oliver and Emily. He couldn’t believe their guts. The first time they met him after months, the first thing they could think about was disgracing and eliminating him again! He smiled. “You speak as though you’re so sure of what you’re saying. What if you were wrong?” Oliver scoffed, folding his arms. “I’m never wrong, and I’m sure of anything I say. So I’m extremely certain about this because I’ve worked in this line long enough to know.” The lady who lost her ring agreed. “Yes, that’s true. My husband also told me about a richer man getting the ring, not someone like you.” She stared in Dylan’s direction and spoke confidently. “So there’s no way a nobody like you could have gotten this ring! It’s probably fake, and you also stole my ring.” Dylan stared at the woman. “I don’t really have much to say to you. Whether my ring is real or fake, shouldn’t you confirm
014: CCTV.
Emily stared proudly. “What evidence could you possibly have? You’ve been caught red-handed, so stop making excuses.” Dylan smiled. “Why are you so anxious? We should see the evidence to determine if I really stole it or you all are just slandering my name.” The lady snapped defensively. “Sure! Let’s see what you’ve got!” Dylan smiled. While Zane was speaking, Dylan had actually contacted his system. He had informed his system that he needed a copy of the CCTV in the room sent to Zane’s phone. [Ding!] [This is certainly doable!] [$1,000 for retrieving and transferring the needed video from CCTV to Zane’s device!] Dylan casually agreed to it, and immediately the system transferred it all. Now Dylan stared at Zane confidently. “Why don’t you show the CCTV video clip you retrieved? I’m sure it should be able to shut them up for good.” Zane panicked! He didn’t remember having any CCTV video clip at all. But Dylan gave him a confident stare, and immediately he believed him and too
015: Fake
Oliver couldn’t believe that he had lost the ring to Dylan of all people. He couldn’t even believe it was possible. This left him shocked, speechless, and filled with utter shame. Emily just stood there praying to disappear. And in that moment, Dylan stared at them. “So? Do you still have any loud and proud claims to make?” No one said anything. At that moment, his system beeped. [Ding!] [New extra Cheat information detected.] The system filled Dylan in about the new detected information as he casually smiled. Dylan stared at Emily’s fingers and saw the ring she was wearing. She had proudly claimed that it was the SEA ring that Oliver had bought for her for $300 million dollars or something. It was a luxury piece of jewelry, so she was flaunting it casually to make every lady jealous—which she achieved. But the system had just given him information that this SEA ring she was flaunting was basically fake. Dylan smiled as he said, “I wonder how you could call my ring fake when
016: Credit
Dylan let out a calm smile as he watched them leave. He could feel the joy running through his veins. The joy of seeing them shattered. It was exactly what he wanted, and he couldn’t wait for much more. This was just the beginning. [Ding!] [Congratulations! The host has made a mega face-slap!] [X5 value!] [Credit Alert: + $50,000,000!] Dylan smiled. Just then, the lady who had lost her golden ring decided to speak up. She had been embarrassed all this while about what happened. But seeing that Dylan was a big shot, she decided that it would be nice if she got on his good side. She smiled sheepishly as she said, “Ah, about what happened. I guess it was all a misunderstanding.” She laughed nervously. Dylan stared at her as she continued. “You see, I’m really impressed to know at a young age, you’re already this successful. It’s really impressive in this day and age.” She went on. “My husband does some foreign work, and his business is really blooming. You should consider meetin
017: Thoughts
Emily tried to convince herself. "I'm sure he's getting that money from fraudulent means. Or he's using someone else's money." Oliver agreed. "Of course. There's no way he can be that massive!" He sighed and said, "But that doesn't matter. The only resolution now is that we must take him down by all means." Emily nodded firmly. "We have to find a way to end him as soon as possible. We can't let him have his way at all." She sighed deeply, her frustration boiling over. "And we have to get back at him for what he did to me. For humiliating me like that in front of everyone! We have to make sure he pays for it." Oliver calmed her down and assured her. "Don't worry. We will make sure he pays for it. I'll make sure of it." The two of them were simply speechless over what they had encountered. And they had instantly made a decision to find a way to take Dylan down before he came for them. They knew that if they didn't act fast, everything they had built could come crumbling down.
018: Amy
The young lady, Lea, lived alone in her small apartment. After losing her job at the city hospital for saving a young girl, she had been fortunate enough to secure work at a smaller hospital that agreed to employ her. Though the pay was modest and the environment far less prestigious, Lea didn’t complain. To her, it was enough to get by. Lea was no longer truly alone. She now lived with the young girl she had taken in. The child had grown attached to her quickly, clinging to Lea with a quiet dependence that soon blossomed into affection. Over time, the girl began to see Lea as her mother, and Lea, in turn, found herself embracing the role without hesitation. Their life together was simple, but it was filled with warmth. For the first time in a long while, Lea felt a sense of peace. However, that fragile peace had recently been shaken. The little girl had fallen ill again. It had come suddenly, her condition worsening overnight as if something dormant had been triggered. Lea had
019: Lea.
At that time, Mr. and Mrs. Walter had broken the news to Lea. “You’re our illegitimate daughter,” Mr. Walter had announced. Lea had stood still, her mind going blank as the words echoed in her ears. “Your mother is already dead,” Mrs. Walter added coldly. “I’m not your mother. And you were born out of wedlock… from a mistress.” They delivered the heavy truth all at once, without pause, without care. And in that instant, Lea’s world turned upside down completely. It wasn’t just one revelation—it was everything. She had not only realized that she hadn’t been living with her real mother, and that she wasn’t the legitimate daughter of the family, but also that her real mother was gone… dead long before she even had the chance to know her. The weight of it crushed her. Still, a part of Lea held on. She thought things would somehow remain the same. She believed she could continue living there, still loved, still accepted as their daughter. But she was naive. Very naive
020: Warning.
She continued, “At least show some shame! How can you be staying with a child without being married? People will talk, and it’ll eventually backfire on us!” Ella lifted her chin proudly. “You might think you can act shamelessly just because you’ve left the house, but control yourself. Whether you like it or not, you still carry part of our image until the day you die.” She sighed dramatically before adding, “So you should remember that we are important people. Protect our name by all means, okay?” Lea simply stood there and listened without saying a word. Ella gave a small, satisfied nod, as if she had said everything that needed to be said. “My father also said that if, in a few days, you still don’t listen, we’ll take the child ourselves and send her to an orphanage,” she added coldly. “So consider this your warning.” With that, she turned and walked off. She walked on her tiptoes, as though the ground itself disgusted her—like she was stepping over something filthy.
