The twin tried to pull his hand back instinctively. He couldn’t. Kyle’s grip tightened slowly around his wrist. CRACK! The sound echoed sharply through the room. The twin’s expression finally changed for the first time as pain flashed across his face. “What—” Kyle twisted his arm violently and flung him across the room. BOOM! The man crashed through a glass table before rolling across the marble floor. Silence. Absolute silence filled the mansion. Even Kelly’s breathing stopped for a moment. Frank’s eyes narrowed immediately. The second twin reacted instantly. He moved like lightning. BAM! A kick flew toward Kyle’s skull. Kyle blocked it with one arm. The impact shook the air around them, but Kyle didn’t move an inch this time. The dark glow inside his eyes flickered again. Stronger and more dangerous. The second twin immediately sensed it. His expression hardened. Kyle slowly turned his neck toward him. “You hit hard,” Kyle muttered. The

The entire mansion fell into complete silence. Not one person moved. Not one person breathed properly. Glass fragments still rolled slowly across the marble floor after the violent shockwave Kyle released. Frank’s guards stood frozen with their guns trembling visibly in their hands. Because the shadow behind Kyle had moved. No… It had breathed. Kelly’s body shook uncontrollably as she stared at the dark figure stretching unnaturally behind Kyle like a living creature crawling out of hell itself. “What… is that…” she whispered fearfully. Kyle himself remained standing motionlessly. His head lowered. His shoulders rising and falling slowly. The dark aura leaking from his body was becoming thicker now. More unstable. Clark immediately sensed danger. Real danger. “Kyle…” he called carefully. No response came. Frank’s eyes narrowed dangerously as he observed him. Then suddenly— Kyle lifted his head. His eyes were no longer human. The faint dark glow h

The red emergency lights painted the entire mansion in a terrifying crimson glow. WHOOOOP! WHOOOOP! The alarm continued screaming through every corner of the building. Kelly’s hands shook violently as she looked around. Steel doors had completely sealed every exit. Even the windows were covered by thick metal shutters now. “What the hell is going on?” she whispered fearfully. Frank calmly adjusted the sleeve of his torn suit. “You ask too many questions,” he replied. Kyle’s dark eyes remained locked on him. He let out a chuckle. "You really think you can stop me after everything you have just witnessed?" Frank laughed. "I am not scared of you, Kyle. Your father was more powerful than what you are and he is dead. What makes you think you are above him?" Kyle flashed his eyes again. Anger surged inside of him. He clenched his hand so tightly that his nails tore through his flesh. "I am not my father!" he barked. Frank laughed again. He looked at Kyle, "

The glowing circuit lines beneath Kyle’s feet expanded in seconds, crawling across the ground like living veins. The entire driveway was no longer stone—it had become a luminous grid, pulsing in sync with a deep, mechanical heartbeat coming from beneath the mansion. Clark’s voice cracked through the chaos. “Kyle, that’s not just a seal… it’s a full neural lattice. It’s syncing with your energy output!” Kelly clutched the seatbelt so tightly her knuckles went white. “What does that mean?!” “It means,” Clark snapped, struggling to keep the car steady as the system resisted ignition again, “it’s learning him.” Kyle stood still in the center of the glowing grid. For a moment, everything went quiet. Even Adrian didn’t move. The red-black lights overhead dimmed slightly, as though the mansion itself was holding its breath. Then Frank’s voice returned—not from speakers this time, but from everywhere at once. “You always did have too much pride, Kyle.” Kyle tilted his head slowly.

The car screeched forward, tires biting into the glowing lattice like it was burning rubber into glass. Adrian staggered back a step—but only a step. Then he straightened. His eyes narrowed as the hood of the vehicle dented slightly under his grip. The entire frame trembled as the mansion’s systems reacted to the unauthorized movement. “Still trying to run,” Adrian said coldly. “Even now.” Inside the car, Clark’s hands were already moving. “No… no, no, no,” he muttered rapidly. “The grid’s re-sealing the perimeter. If we stay in motion, it’s going to lock us into a feedback loop.” Kelly turned toward the backseat where Kyle lay slumped against the cracked door frame. “Kyle!” she shouted. “Get up!” Kyle didn’t respond immediately. His body was still half-lit—faint traces of the glowing lattice patterns flickering beneath his skin like dying embers. His breathing was uneven, each inhale heavier than the last, as though the system Frank activated was still echoing inside him.
DEFEAT!
The drive back home was silent. Kyle was bruised and his face hardened. Kelly looked at him countless times, hoping that he was going to say something, but he was silent. Kyle stared out of the car, his mind in a far-distant place. "Are you alright?" Clark finally asked. His gaze fixed on the mirror in front of him. "I am good." Kyle replied absent-mindedly. Zack was right outside when Clark drove into the compound. He rushed towards the car, seeing the damage done to it. He was surprised to see Kelly with them, but he slowly looked at Kyle, and his eyes lit up with rage."I knew it! I knew this was a bad idea, and I warned you about it. I fucking warned you!" Zack said with anger as he yanked open the door of the car. "You should always warn him against doing things like this!" he said, staring at Clark in the face. "But no! All you cared about is your pretty revenge, and once again, you drag my friend into it." Clark inhaled sharply. "No! I didn't drag him into shit! Kyle h
BACK TO SCHOOL
Kelly moved towards Kyle gently; her gaze fell on his wound. She drew his face closer. And for a moment, Kyle felt at peace. He felt at peace not because of everything, but because of her gentle touch. Her lips slowly fell on his, and in that moment, time froze. They both kissed passionately without holding back. After a while, Kelly withdrew from him. "So do you still think I am kidding?" she asked.Kyle smiled. "Sorry if I had been too harsh on you. I have..." "You don't need to explain what you went through, Kyle. I would have done the same thing if I were in your shoes," Kelly replied.Kyle looked at her for a while. "I am happy you came with us." he said "Yeah. Me too." The two held hands and walked into the mansion forgetting they had a lot to overcome as a couple. **********The following day came with many paparazzi. Zack was back to school, and Belinda's supposed boyfriend was now attending the same school as the rest of them."Are you ready to do this?" Kelly looked a
TEMPTATION FOR KYLE
Kyle kept his eyes forward. He heard Adrian's footsteps closing the distance between them, but he refused to turn around. Not today. Not after everything Kelly and Zack had just told him.Not after what happened at the mansion. Not after nearly losing control."I asked you a question," Adrian said.Kyle continued walking. A few students nearby immediately slowed down.Everyone knew Adrian. Everyone knew Kyle. And everyone knew trouble followed both of them.Adrian laughed. "What's wrong? Cat got your tongue? Or are you scared now?"Still, Kyle said nothing. The smile on Adrian's face slowly faded."You think you're too good to talk to me now? Don't you?" Kyle stopped walking. His fists clenched. Then unclench your fist.He took a deep breath."Leave me alone, Adrian. I am not in the mood to play." The words were calm.Adrian frowned. That wasn't the response he expected.Usually Kyle would explode. Usually Kyle would throw a punch.Usually Kyle would make things entertaining. That w
THE BATTLE BETWEEN THE BIG BOYS
The whole school stood still trying to understand what was going on between the half brothers. "Don't tell me you are too scared to throw a punch? You were eager too, the last time we fought." Adrian said with a jest. But then, Klaus walked into their midst. His gaze landed on Kyle before shifting towards Adrian. "I bet you two think you run the show around here." he said with a snicker. Most of the girls were taken in with the way Klaus talked and how stylish he was. "Can't believe Belinda would stoop so low for someone like you." Kyle's eyes darted towards Klaus and he laughed. "I am not here to pick up a fight with either of you. I am here to study and the last thing I want right now is getting engaged in a baby fight." Klaus's eye flashes with anger. His muscles flexed slightly. "Baby fight? Did you just call me a baby?" Adrian laughed. "He was not referring to you when he called us baby. This is a family fight, Klaus. You don't need to get yourself involved. Why don
WHO IS THE SCHOOL GOING TO SIDE WITH?
The walk to the dean's office was painfully silent.Hundreds of students watched as Kyle, Adrian, Klaus, and Stephan were escorted across the courtyard by security personnel. Whispers followed them everywhere. "Did you see how Klaus destroyed them?""Stephan looked terrified.""No, the weird part is why the dean called Kyle too.""I heard Kyle and Adrian are brothers. Is that true?" "Half-brothers.""No way..."The rumors spread like wildfire.Kyle ignored them all.Adrian walked beside him with both hands shoved into his pockets.Klaus looked completely unconcerned, occasionally whistling to himself.Stephan, however, looked ready to explode. The moment they entered the dean's office, the door slammed shut behind them.Dean Harold slowly sat behind his desk. His sharp eyes swept over each of them.Nobody spoke. Nobody dared. The old man suddenly slammed both palms against the desk.BAM!"ARE YOU ALL IDIOTS?!"The four boys remained silent."Fighting in broad daylight!""Destroying
