Sable and Mark had gone to check all the traces of what would be the only things that they had in common with Deo. All the records had something connecting every transaction; it wasn't odd, given that they had ties that could make it hard to find anything that might implicate them. "So you are suspicious as well?" Sable asked as he rummaged through old files; they had both kept their files intact in one location, knowing that they would need to deal with something like this one day. "Naturally, Deo wasnt the type of person who would die saying a few words like that to anyone. Always proud to the end, and I know that there has to be something tying his death to someone we both know..." Mark stood there; his mind was going through everything he had been through. “We have been working together for the longest time, and we have to make sure that we would be able to stick together and see to it that there isnt going to be—” “Hold up…” Sable stopped, looking at him with a crooked smi

Darius and Luther had managed to get into Deo’s phone; they were now going through everything that seemed to be the basis of Deo’s work. “Seems he was a slippery one; this phone isnt even the main device he uses.” Luther spoke, his eyes going through all the files and documents he had seen there, and there wasn't anything that connected anyone else aside from Sable. Darius sat there staring at the screen; Luther was scrolling, and Darius paid close attention, trying to make sure that there wasn't going to be anything they would miss. As they were scrolling, a picture got his attention. He moved from his seat, looking at the photo and recollecting a familiar face long forgotten. “That man,” he said, pointing to the screen. There was something about the man that made his entire skin crawl. Luther enlarged the image, trying to see if Darius would get a clear look at the man who had managed to make Darius break character. “... it's him; he's one of the men who worked with my father

Sable had decided to head to the Lockwood house, knowing there would be much to learn there and that he would be using them for a while. On getting there, he was met with a gloomy house, almost as if the ghosts of the past haunted it. He was not there to be someone who cared about the family; he had come for one thing: to make sure he could get something that would lead him to the answers he needed. Entering the house, he was met with the grim face of Ethan Lockwood. The man seemed rather lost, almost like there wasn't anything left for him to even hold on to. A half-empty bottle of whiskey on his table, piles of paper that seemed thrown off the wrong place. Ethan Lockwood was one of the few men that he knew wouldn't even fail to keep himself looking responsible. But it seemed the loss of his son got to him hard, and from what he could see, there was nothing he would want to see. “Now this is a sight I never thought I would see…” Sable muttered, standing in front of the man.

Darius had gone to Borimi, a city to the east of Thalos. He was going there to meet with the Fifth Heaven, as they were about to discuss his attack. Luther had told him that anyone stupid enough to attack Eren Grindabell was also stupid enough to let himself stay in the open for long.Upon arriving in Borimi, Darius was taken to a mansion. A night structure that he seemed a bit fascinated with. The guards at the Fifth Heaven’s House bowed their heads as they opened the doors for Darius. He walked in to find a well-decorated home, with various weapons on the wall. Each head of every Heaven was given a particular task to make sure that they would be able to handle it. Eren Grindabell and the entire Fifth Heaven were in charge of making sure that there wasn't going to be any slip-up in their plans…Darius saw everything in the house, and it reminded him of the old Winters family Manor, which had a strong resemblance to this house. He tried to keep himself composed as he was about t

The remaining warlords had received word that an unknown man had killed Deo Cabo, and the last people to see him were Sable and one of the Jaeger brothers. "Sable is trying to do something without telling us, and I don't seem to like the way he is trying to go about it!" Baron wasn't in the best of moods; learning that one of the few men that they could control was dead didn't seem to sit right with him in any way possible. "There is no way he would try to do something that would go against the way we have been running things." Faber spoke, trying to control the room, knowing that they were bound to go out of hand; it wasn't going to be something that they would be able to predict how he was going to try to walk. "Sable is also a warlord, and because of that we are obliged to give him the respect he deserves. Even if you think that there isn't meant to be a need for that..." Hortio was silent, knowing that his brother would have a good reason for being with Sable, and it was clea

Darius had gathered the information he needed to find where Eren had been attacked. Even though it was decades ago, he remembered his father coming to Borimi for something, and it seemed there was something in the land that brought him back all those years. Darius would remember his father trying to make sure that there wasn't anything that could help him get to the bottom of what was going on. Eren couldn't let him go to the place without people following him for aid, in case anything went wrong. Darius had said no, but Eren wasn't going to take no for an answer; there had to be something he could do there. "There isn't going to be any need for them. I know that there might be people there waiting for you to come back...""I know you aren't going to get harmed; I'm just worried that Luther would rip my head off if I don't provide you with enough guards. You're the heir of the Nine Heavens after all..." Darius knew then that nothing he said would be listened to; he was going to

Darius stood still, waiting for the man to attack. He knew it was best not to do anything that would set off the signals, knowing they were bound to trigger attacks. The Masked Mist moved, blitzing over to Darius. This time, his attack was serious, and it had every intention of taking his limb off. Darius blocked it, but in this attack, he could feel the immense power behind it, how it was well curated, and how he was trying to make sure that nothing would hold him back. Darius countered with a gut blow; this made the man grunt, his back arched in the air as Darius pulled him by the cloth, hauling him into the craters that were there. In the next second, Darius bolted for the man. He leaped into the air, holding both his legs, and crashed to the ground like a meteor. The Masked Mist managed to get out of the way, but he wasn't fast enough to get away from Darius' repeated onslaughts. Each blow he threw was packed with enough power to take the head of an amateur off. His body p

Darius stood there looking at the person who attacked him; there was no doubt that they had every intention of killing him. The Masked Mist wasn't going to be able to do anything for the time being. Darius had managed to do some damage to him, but then he was a bit distracted by this second person here in the scene. He didn't even struggle with the new person in their midst; there was something about the way he stood there that made it clear they were about to get themselves into a scuffle that wouldn't be solved that easily. Darius already knew the second person had come to make sure he would save the Masked Mist from him. “Who might you be?”He muttered as he pulled in the other warrior; his movements were unreal and splitting fast. He didn't hesitate to go in for a slicing kick that sent the latter back. In another second, he used his left leg to snap the Masked Mist’s leg, then closed in with another jab that crunched two or three bones in his ribs. “You should be happy at

At the same time, while Darius was in Borimi, Luther and Cho had gone down to Northern Skull Island to investigate what they believed to be the production of ozario and other component drugs. They had been tracing the trails, but they couldn't get a ping at the specific location. Luther had dreaded that they would lose the trail, but they got a clear location that time. "With Lord Darius investigating what happened to Lord Fifth, it's best if we handle this. We can't get him tangled with what we have failed to solve..."Luther spoke, trying to keep everything in a normal state of mind. They were more than capable of handling hordes of warriors, but Luther had managed to break through the fourth pillar, giving him a clear advantage. Cho was right behind him at the third pillar; he was a warrior of high substance, eagerly training to surpass Luther. They had arrived at the location, standing on a building across from it, watching. It was clear they were about to face something tha

Luther stood there, staring at the man who had walked in. He noticed the way the man stood; he could tell there was something about the way he entered that place. “Eii, you aren't meant to be here…” The man said, snapping his fingers; there wasnt anything. Luther and Cho knew what it meant at that moment. There wasn't anything that would even hold them back. Luther took a stance, holding his dagger up and ready for a battle. "Cho, they are trained..." Luther muttered. In the next second, one of the men kicked him, but the blow was evaded. Luther struck him back, knowing that nothing would come his way, but there wasn't anything that would come from this. The warrior who had attacked Luther was resilient, kicking back to make sure there was something that would take down Luther. But Luther matched each strike; he blocked it, throwing the man off. But the strikes were not even easy; he dodged them almost as if he were trying to keep the attacker at bay. Cho, on the other hand,
