CHAPTER ELEVEN “You lie, Sarah, you lie.” Marcos grabbed the handle of the door to the car and pulled forcefully, but the car was locked and he couldn’t open the door. “Unlock this door at once Sarah.” “No, I won't, just leave Marcos,” Sarah said with a shaky voice but the man she was speaking to didn't budge. Marcos put his hand into the car through the space in the window and tried to open the door from inside, but Sarah quickly grabbed the door handle before he could get to it. “Let go, Sarah, let go.” “Stop it, Marcos, you are hurting me.” Sarah whimpered at the pain she was in while Marcos tried to forcefully remove her hand from the handle of the car by pulling. “Aw! Let go of my hands!” Sarah cried out, but Marcos kept on pulling. “It’s either you come willingly or I make you.” Marcos continued to try to open the door from the inside while Sarah struggled to keep his hands away from the handle. Alerted by the squabbles, Ciro was forced to react. “Hey! Let go of he

CHAPTER TWELVE “Don’t just stand there and look at him, kick his ass,” Marcos ordered the second guard who was amazed at how fast Ciro avoided the punch from his colleague. “Marcos, don’t do this I beg you. Let him go.” “Don’t worry Sarah, they would just rough-handle him a bit, at least that would teach him some manners.” Marcos smiled mischievously and waited for the bodyguards to carry out his order. The second bodyguard slowly walked up to Ciro and positioned himself to attack, watching Ciro carefully to see if he was going to make any movement. “What are you waiting for? Huh? Come on.” Ciro said in a low tone to the bodyguard, which made him furious, and he rushed at Ciro with full force roaring. “Ou!” That was the sound that came out of his mouth when Ciro grabbed his two hands and kicked his stomach with his right knee, and then he hurled him to the ground. The first guard who had missed punching Ciro came back, this time, he grabbed Ciro from behind and tried to push

CHAPTER THIRTEEN Next, Ciro grabbed the third bodyguard who was holding onto his other hand with the fourth, and then he put his head between his armpit and pressed really hard. Feeling choked, the bodyguard was forced to let go of Ciro’s hand, and then he tried to free himself from being strangled, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t make Ciro let go of him. “Did you see that? That was wonderful!” “He is my type!” The lady said after her friend had spoken. She looked at Ciro with so much admiration, curling her lips at him. Seeing what had happened to the others, the bodyguard still holding onto Ciro’s hand decided to throw a punch at him, but he was too slow, Ciro quickly moved the bodyguard he was holding onto, and the punch landed on his face instead. Ciro let go of him almost immediately, and he sprawled on the floor. Instantly, Ciro grabbed the last guard who was holding onto him by the collar and looked deep into his eyes with a frightening gaze, causing him to

CHAPTER FOURTEEN The four guards who were a few meters away from Ciro looked at him with uncertainty, none of them was sure of what to do. “Come on! Go get him!” The old man who was enjoying the show urged the bodyguards, not because he wanted them to beat Ciro, but because he knew they were no match for him. “Could you just be quiet for once?” “I am sorry darling, this is really interesting to watch.” His wife scoffed, and then she rolled her eyes again at him and took two steps to her right, away from him. Ciro looked at the four men in front of him, and then he started to walk towards them gradually, but with each step he took, they took further steps backward.“You can see that your men are weaklings, they can’t even stand up to one man,” Sarah said to Marcos with a smirk on her face. “Be quiet Sarah! Be quiet!” “Or what? Are you gonna hit me again? Or maybe ask one of your men to help you?” Marcos growled at Sarah, but she seemed not to be bothered by his annoyance and

CHAPTER FIFTEEN “Yeah, we’d better leave here before things get more messy,” Natalie said to Elena, and they turned toward the driveway and left immediately with quickened steps. A few seconds later, the waitress who got worried about the sudden exit of almost all the customers in the restaurant decided to check what was happening after signaling to her male colleague. She looked through the little space between some of the customers who were standing by the door, and the moment she saw Ciro, she gasped. “What is really going on?” She asked, but no one seemed to care to give her an answer. While the bodyguard who was still standing held onto his bleeding nose, he looked at his palm, and when he saw the bloodstain on his hand, he got really upset and decided to make Ciro pay for head-butting him. He angrily rushed at Ciro with intense rage in an attempt to punch him. He threw the first punch at Ciro and it landed on his face, causing Ciro to move his head as a result of the pain

CHAPTER SIXTEEN “I can’t look!” The old man’s wife said and covered her eyes with both of her hands as she saw the car speeding towards Ciro. With a smirk on his lips, Marcos had only one mission: to crush Ciro with his car, and he was determined to do it. He fired with all his agility and proceeded to run him over at a very high speed. “Marcos!” Sarah yelled and tried to move over to the front seat from the back, but the speed of the car sent her back almost immediately. When the car was just a few inches from hitting Ciro, by just a flicker of luck, he dived away and landed on the ground, making a very loud thud. Marcos suddenly lost a little bit of the excitement in him; he had hoped that he was going to hit Ciro. “You son of a bitch!” He yelled angrily, and then he reversed the car and got ready for another round of attempts to run Ciro over with his car. “Please get up.” The waitress whispered when she saw that Ciro was still on the ground and that the black car had reve

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN “Call Daddy; I am sure he will have a good explanation to give,” Marcos said while he kept on steering the wheel through the busy road. Ciro fastened his seatbelt as soon as he got to the road, strapping it on and buckling it with his right hand, while he held on to the steering wheel with his left hand. He could see the black car in front of him, but he wasn’t sure he was going to be able to get to it through the busy road with lots of cars on the way. He looked around the car, and as soon as he saw the phone on the central control, he picked it up, dialed Sarah’s number, and put the phone on his right ear. “What’s that sound?” Marcos asked as soon as he heard the ringtone inside the car while he drove at a high speed. “What’s that sound?” He barked at Sarah, startling her. “It’s nothing,” she answered with a shaky voice, trying to hide her purse from Marcos, who had turned to look at it. “Let me have that.” “Let go, Marcos! Let go!” Sarah yelled, trying to

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN “Oh,” Ciro mumbled with a little disappointment when he heard Gregory’s voice from the other end of the line. “Yes, what do you have for me?” “Perfect!” He exclaimed after a few seconds, still holding onto the phone against his ear. “Just keep an eye on him, and send me his location whenever he stops driving.” Ciro dropped the call, and then he kept the phone where he had picked it up and paid more attention to the road. He drove for a few minutes until he got to a T-junction, then he took a right turn and drove for a few more minutes before he arrived at a lake house that seemed to have been abandoned for a while. He drove through the driveway until he arrived in front of the house, and then he parked at a corner and got out of his car almost immediately. He unlocked the main door by inputting the passcode and got in almost immediately. “It’s been a while,” he whispered slowly as he looked around the house and discovered that it had been the same way he left

CHAPTER NINETEEN Ciro tried to move to Sarah as soon as he saw that her hands and feet were tied to the chair she was sitting in, but she muffled again, this time with so much force and with a countenance that showed that she was trying to warn Ciro against impending danger. Just as he stood still, looking at Sarah, with his flashlight still on, he saw an object moving toward him from his left with so much force. Sarah muffled a scream loudly, but before Ciro could figure out what was going on, the long stick had already landed on his shoulder, causing the phone to fall out of his hand. Sarah muffled a scream when she saw that Marcos had succeeded in hitting Ciro with the stick, as he had been waiting for him behind the door. “You come to play hero! You should have stayed away.” Marcos said, still holding on to the stick with his two hands. Ciro crawled toward his phone and tried to grab it, but Marcos quickly moved over to it and kicked it away. “Do you have any idea of the ki
