Chapter 31
“This is my chance.”Laga carefully approached the crowd. One hand pressed against his shoulder as he picked up several pieces of bread, bottles of water, and a few other items scattered across the ground. He quickly moved away from the crowd, avoiding attacks from several prisoners who suddenly appeared nearby. When he glanced back, newly arrived prisoners were also falling under the long-haired woman's ability. The long-haired woman began coughing, yet she continued smiling and acting flirtatiously.“I can't let myself be affected by that woman's ability.”“You're nothing but a pathetic bitch!” A short-haired female prisoner suddenly appeared from the side and slapped her across the face repeatedly. The long-haired prisoner suddenly slapped her own face and began moving her body like a chimpanzee, copying the movements of the short-haired female prisoner.“I'm a cheap whore!” The long-haired female prisoner was startled by her own words. “What am I saying? Why... hit me now!”The ma

Laga froze the moment his eyes met Iron Mouth's.Even though the massive prisoner was badly injured, the pressure of his presence was still overwhelming.Laga slowly backed away until his back hit the wall. He noticed an unconscious prisoner lying beside Iron Mouth.“That prisoner is the one who took the medicine crate.”Iron Mouth picked up several bottles filled with green liquid from inside the box.“Iron Mouth ... is ignoring me. He doesn't see me as a threat. He's focused on recovering. I ... can't let that happen, but ....”The moment Iron Mouth looked at him, Laga immediately turned and ran toward the exit.Unfortunately, two prisoners blocked the way, one of them being the prisoner with an elephant trunk. Other prisoners were fighting throughout the area, cutting off every path.Laga quickly jumped to the side as the two prisoners smashed through a wall. He was forced back into the room, retreating while gripping the piece of steel bar and his metal blowpipe.“Damn, I'm trappe

“God, how much longer am I going to be stuck in this damn place?”“Don't yell if there aren't any enemies around us, Tomato! You're only going to attract the other prisoners!”“I'm not a prisoner! I'm an influencer and a content creator! I don't belong in this damn dead forest!”“I'm starving even though I've already eaten some bread.”“Shut up, all two of you!”“You're the one who needs to shut up! Your yelling is attracting the other prisoners. No, God! I hate this place!”Don clicked his tongue in annoyance.A thin mist surrounded the area, drifting slowly through the trees. Leafless trees towered ten meters into the air. Plant roots protruded from the muddy ground. Thorny black bushes that looked itchy to the touch could be seen scattered throughout several areas. There were no monsters, grass, or even small animals.Don let out a long breath. His body was covered in wounds and dried blood, and his clothes were torn and ragged. The blades on his hands and feet were cracked, broken

Boma immediately shoved Don aside. The two rockets slammed into the tree wall and exploded with enough force to fill the area with thick smoke and leave a large hole.Don was thrown outside, while Boma was pushed backward and slammed into the wall.“Damn.” Don hit the ground hard, rolled for a moment, then jumped back to his feet.He glanced at the smoke pouring out of their hiding place before turning his attention to the three prisoners in front of him.“My left leg and left arm hurt like hell whenever I move them.”Ale struggled, but someone suddenly stepped on her face. When Ale looked up, she saw a female prisoner standing over her.“Finally, I found you, you damn bitch!” The woman chuckled as she pressed her foot against Ale's face. “You've gotten even more disgusting since I saw you back there.”Ale couldn't scream because a belt was wrapped tightly around her mouth. She recognized the woman as the prisoner who had harassed her back in the arena. They had even slapped each othe

Ale glared at the female prisoner. Blood covered nearly her entire face. Her breathing was ragged, causing her body to tremble.“You ....” The female prisoner punched Ale in the stomach as hard as she could, laughing. “You think I'm going to be scared because—”Ale suddenly took a deep breath, ignored the pain, and screamed as loudly as she could. A powerful sound wave shot toward the female prisoner.Unable to dodge, the woman was blasted backward at tremendous speed. Blood burst from both of her ears. Her body spun through the air before crashing into a tree, shattering it and bringing it down.Ale collapsed at the same time as the female prisoner, who lay unconscious beneath the fallen tree. Several sections of the tree collapsed on top of her.The other three prisoners were stunned.“Shit! I need to finish off that stupid woman!” The rocket-handed prisoner immediately fired a rocket from his left hand. The rocket shot forward alongside the long needles thrown by the pierced prison
Chapter 36
“Shit, get out of my way!”“Stop pushing me!”“Damn it! I don't want to drown because of those damn waves!”The prisoners scrambled to save themselves in whatever way they could. Some rushed into the wreckage of ships and gaps between the rocks, only to get into fights with prisoners who had already taken shelter there. Others continued toward the massive rocky mountain behind the beach, relying on their abilities. One prisoner dug through the sand with his crab-like hands.“Get out of my hiding spot!” the prisoner shouted when another prisoner followed him from behind. The waves were right behind the prisoners, ready to swallow everything in their path. Screams and cries echoed through the area as the prisoners continued falling because the sand had become slippery.A prisoner could be seen riding on top of a wave, laughing loudly. Both of his legs had transformed into surfboards.“Look at me now, idiots! Don't I look cool?”“Shut up!” A prisoner emerged from the waves. His back rese

Derry and Susan were pulled deeper into the sand. Their bodies began sinking beneath the ground.Just as Susan was about to scream, her mouth was suddenly covered by one of Derry's strands of hair.Derry directed several strands of his hair downward and smiled when they wrapped around something beneath his feet.“Got you, bastard!”A prisoner beneath Derry struggled to free himself from the hair wrapped around his mouth and nose. He began having trouble breathing and was eventually forced to release his grip on Derry's leg.Derry kicked the prisoner as hard as he could, sending himself and Susan out of a hole and into a small underground room. The room was fairly cramped, large enough to hold only six adults. The ceiling was about two and a half meters high and supported by stacked wooden barrels and planks from the shipwreck. Water dripped from above, the walls, and the hole, making the floor slippery.“Damn it! You tricked me into bringing you to my hiding place!” A prisoner with cr

“You idiot! You dragged me into that cramped hole, and now you've brought me straight to the damn shark prisoner!” Susan cursed under her breath. “I should never have trusted an idiot like you!”“Stop blaming me, damn it!” Derry snapped back. “I've saved your life several times! You should be thanking me!”“You're seriously keeping score?”“So, who was the one who grabbed my leg?” the Shark Prisoner asked as he raised his massive axe. The edge of the axe gleamed faintly.Prisoners gathered around the Shark Prisoner. Some began to run, while the rest stayed behind, curious to see what would happen.A short while ago, a powerful tremor had caused part of the beach to collapse, sending prisoners tumbling into holes while others hiding beneath the sand were buried alive. No one knew what had caused it.“Do something, idiot,” Susan whispered.“Hold on to my hand or my clothes. I'll pull you away in just—”“I really am going to kill you, damn it!”“Now!” Derry suddenly shouted as he pul

Three moons still shone in the sky.The skull bone clock continued counting down.Buildings collapsed in various places, crushing several prisoners who were running through the streets. Some managed to escape using their abilities, while the rest became trapped beneath the rubble. In a narrow space between two buildings, Laga stood frozen as he stared at a prisoner. Blood flowed from his legs, while his clothes were soaked with sweat. He swallowed hard, trying to control his ragged breathing.“The Sword-Handed Prisoner... saw me. This is bad. I-I have to get out of here right now.”Laga looked down at his legs and gritted his teeth. “Damn it, why... why can't I move my legs? I... I can't let him catch me, or I'll... I'll die.”He pounded on his legs and slapped his cheeks. Both of his hands trembled violently until the piece of steel bar slipped from his grip and fell to the ground.“Run, idiot! Why the hell did you suddenly turn into a rock?”Instead of running, Laga collapsed hard o
Chapter 40
Laga gripped the bottle of purple liquid tightly, dragging his body forward with his knees and right hand. The gap was wide enough because it was supported by two large pieces of rubble and a sizable steel bar. When he looked up, two sword blades flew toward him through the gaps in the rubble. He rolled to the side, startled as one of the blades narrowly missed his chest. He shifted as quickly as he could, only to collide with the corpse of a prisoner.“You're getting on my nerves, boy! Get out here now!”The Sword-Handed Prisoner jumped and landed heavily on the rubble.Laga pulled the corpse of the thin prisoner over his body. He was pinned beneath the corpse and the collapsed building. He flinched when a sword pierced the corpse's arm, narrowly missing his hand.“How long are you going to keep hiding, boy?”The Sword-Handed Prisoner peered at Laga while thrusting both swords through the gaps in the rubble.Laga took shelter beneath the prisoner's corpse. His body shook as the Sword
