Chapter 25: The schorlarly ape.

Moving back to the time when Charlie was surrounded by the wild sunflowers…

Seeing that he had no other choice, Charlie bent down to remove the green gem from the hem of his clothes. Before he could stand up, the sunflowers had already attacked. Once the first one successfully penetrated his body, the others came rushing like a tide. They all attached themselves to him and began to suck his blood. It was this scene that was seen by the group before they gave up hope and turned back to leave.

Why do you always target my blood? Why?

Charlie lamented inwardly. He had already started feeling dizzy from the rapid loss of blood.

The flowers were even fighting for space when tiny tendrils shot out from his body. The tendrils shot out from every open pore in his body(his face was not left out), making him look like some kind of monster.

The tendrils quickly attached themselves to the roots of these flowers and starts to suck away. The predators finally became the prey.
