A YEAR LATER

Thomas's POV

I was in my office looking over some files when I stopped to suddenly stare at the picture frame of Grace and I on my desk. She told me to keep it in my office so she could brighten my day anytime I felt weak.

Remembering her words made a smile form on my lips.

I was glad I met Grace and I was even more glad to have her as my girlfriend.

She did more for me than I asked of her and she never expected me to do anything in return, that was how she showed me she loved me.

Even if meeting Natalia made me go through hardships at least I met Grace and I would never want to change the past if it meant not meeting Grace again, that was how much she meant to me.

Life takes drastic turns now and then all we need to do is brace up for the impact.

That's what I did and I was glad I have gotten to this point where I feel confident and loved.
