"All I need to do now is to not act exactly how I play in the game, but to think like it is the real world and my life and everyone else's life depends on it. So if you are ready to follow my lead, then I might just be capable of saving you and a few others." Everett spoke up with a determined look.

Mr. Daniel nodded his head in affirmation. Even if Mr. Daniel created The Blood Battlefield game and the Aero game was inspired by his game, the Aero game was still very complex and tougher than the Blood Battlefield. Everett did well to make each level tough with little odds of survival.

Unlike many other survival games that make levels one to ten easy so players could get a handle on the game.

The Aero game doesn't seem to work that way. The real deal begins from level one, and even though Everett was the creator, he still died several times while playing this particular level.

Surviving will be really tough, but he knew he had to do it because a timer would soon appear.

A timer of five minutes, and if he fails to escape before the time runs out, the whole building will explode and everyone, including him, will die.

"Let's go," Everett voiced as he began to dash through the hallway with Mr. Daniel behind him.

After running for a few minutes, they arrived in the area where a staircase that led to the floor below them, and also an elevator could be seen.

"It's safer if we take the stairs instead," Everett informed as they began to run down the stairs that led to the second floor below the floor they left.

While heading down, the roaring sounds of the lizards and cries of agony from the workers could be heard.

Everett reduced his pace as they began to tiptoe down slowly, and when they arrived at the location, they hid behind a desk that was flipped over.

While hiding behind the desk, Everett took a peek and couldn't find any survivors anymore. They had all been slaughtered, and their corpses were currently being eaten by the lizards.

Blood filled the whole floor like a pool, and the only sounds that could be heard were munching and bone-cracking sounds as the lizards ate the bodies of the dead workers.

"On the count of three, we will run towards that door over there. The door leads to another staircase that leads to the floor below us." Everett whispered softly to Mr. Daniel, who knelt down behind the desk and was visibly panicking.

"Are you crazy?" He spoke in a hushed tone. "What if they see us?" Mr. Daniel questioned with fear written all over his face.

"They don't have eyes. They only follow sounds. It's just like zombies. As long as we are quiet, we will make it to the door alive," Everett whispered as he took another peek to see how many lizards were on this floor.

There were a total of three, and all their attention was focused on the bodies they were eating hungrily.

"It's now or never," Everett muttered as he stood up and began to dash towards the door on his toes to avoid making a single sound.

He ran across the place silently and finally arrived in front of the door without catching the attention of the giant vicious lizards, but he noticed Mr. Daniel didn't follow him.

Everett shifted his gaze backward and could still see Mr. Daniel hiding behind the desk while shivering in fear.

"What are you doing?" Everett questioned without speaking a word. He only said it by moving his mouth and making hand signals.

Mr. Daniel shook his head in disagreement, afraid of moving from where he currently hid.

"Come on! If you stay there, you will die!" Everett gestured once more with his mouth and hands, hoping to convince Mr. Daniel.

Mr. Daniel still remained adamant and shook his head. He wasn't ready to die now.

Everett let out a sigh of frustration as he began to tiptoe back to where Mr. Daniel hid.

"You don't get it. We have to leave now. If we delay any longer, we will both die without even getting eaten by those lizards," Everett whispered to him. Hearing Everett's words, Mr. Daniel finally agreed to move.

Everett once again tiptoed to the door and stood there waiting for Mr. Daniel. Mr. Daniel took a deep breath in and out before standing up from where he hid and began to tiptoe slowly to where Everett stood.

"Nice, you are doing it," Everett mused as he watched Mr. Daniel tiptoe towards him while shivering in fear of not getting spotted by the lizards.

CRACK!

While Mr. Daniel walked forward, he accidentally stepped on a piece of broken glass, and it shattered instantly, causing a loud cracking sound to reverberate throughout the area, and the lizards stopped what they were doing and shifted their gazes towards him.

"Oh, shit," Everett cursed as he watched the lizards dash towards Mr. Daniel, who was already consumed by fear and unable to move. One of the lizards flapped its wings and flew upwards.

It opened its mouth widely, revealing its razor-sharp fangs as it headed towards Mr. Daniel from above with its mouth opened, aiming to bite off Mr. Daniel's head.

The rugged man with tattoos who sat across the box voiced out as he couldn't stand Everett's nonstop whispers with the skinny man."Shut up already!"Everett shifted his gaze to the man whose face was already bright red in anger."I recognize this guy's face. He is one of the characters I designed in the Aero game. Why did I have to be in the same truck with an asshole like him? Could this get any worse?" Everett pondered internally with a pissed-off look as he remembered the personality he gave this particular man in his game. And the personality was that of a murderer. In short, this particular man didn't value human life."The characters in the game are beginning to appear one by one. First it was Mr. Daniel, which I created after being inspired by DDD himself; second is this rugged thug named Vodka." Everett mused, with his fingers rubbing his chin in contemplation as he crawled back to where he once sat."Vodka shouldn't have appeared until level three, but for some reason, he is

Everett swiftly turned around after hearing the man's words, and he saw the monster now inches away from him. Unable to move out of the way, Everett lifted up his right arm, and the monster sunk its find into it and caused blood to be drawn.Everett screamed in pain as the monster bit his arm and kept clenching its fangs, attempting to bite it off. Everett screamed in pain as he swung his arms around and was able to knock the monster off and sent out a kick that struck the head cleanly and killed the bastard.Everett pamted heavily while glancing at his arm that was injured and bleeding. "Dammit. I got bit by a Demo Pox. I'll definitely turn. Goddamn it!" Everett panicked as he fell on his knees and shifted his gaze to the rest of the group as some of them were getting eaten by the monsters, while some were trying their best to survive.Even the Perilous military were out of bullets and began to fight with their fists and blades. With them running out of bullets, some of the militar

Everett's eyelids began to lift open slowly as he regained consciousness. Finally fully awake, he examined the area he found himself in. It seemed like he was in the back of a delivery truck with several other people. What they all had in common was the chain binding their hands."Shit. I have been captured by the perilous military," Everett intoned as he quickly understood what was going on.In the Aero game he created, during level one, if the player fails to complete the level within a certain time, a powerful group of soldiers known as the perilous military would appear and abduct the survivor. The military is known as operatives of the government in the game, a group that captures avatars and forces them to complete missions for the government to earn points and rank up.What surprised Everett the most was why the perilous military arrived way before the level one even ended. They were supposed to show up at the end of the level to conclude it and begin a whole new level, but for

"Mr. Daniel, let's figure out a way to escape!" Everett glanced at where Mr. Daniel had been standing, only to find him running away, leaving him behind."He seriously just left without me? That scumbag! After I risked my life to save him, this is how he repays me?" Everett exclaimed, his blood boiling with anger as he watched Mr. Daniel run away.SLASH!While Everett struggled to figure out how to escape, one of the giant vicious lizards lashed its long, razor-sharp tongue toward him, slashing his chest and sending him flying.Everett flew across the room until he landed on a wooden desk, b

"That's impossible!" Mr. Daniel exclaimed as he shifted his gaze back to the gruesome scene happening downstairs. His expression wasn't the one Everett was expecting after he had just told him something that sounded crazy. The expression on Mr. Daniel's face was one of shock and disappointment. It was almost as if he was expecting this, just not expecting it to be this way."No, the code was supposed to make my game dominate yours and then, with my game dominating yours, it would have enough power to clash with reality and make the Blood Battlefield into the new reality. But somehow, your code was able to dominate mine, and now your game, The Aero Game, is a reality!" Mr. Daniel grabbed his head, with buckets of sweat trickling down his face, and his white suit was now drenched in sweat.A puzzled expression appeared on Everett's face after hearing Mr. Daniel's words. It was almost like he was talking gibberish."What do you mean? I don't understand!" Everett questioned."There's no t
