(LEVEL UP: Class B - Class A Enforcer)
Leon blinked. “Wait, already?”
The system shimmered again. New Features Unlocked:

Advanced Mission Tier (Class A)
Inside his new Inventory, a single item showed up a rope,Then inside his weapon access a single item also showed up a dagger.
Leon frowned. “A dagger? What am I supposed to do with that?". He waving the screen away. “Yeah, no thanks. I’ll stick to my keyboard.”
The blue light chimed again.
(New Mission Available)
Mission Type: Class A - High Threat
Target: Pembroke Industries
Owner: Rey Pembroke
Offense: Illegal toxic waste dumping into Gotham waterways.
Secondary Crimes: Bribery, intimidation, and homicide of activists attempting to expose operations.
Objective: Bring Pembroke to justice.
Time Limit: 24 Hours.
Leon exhaled slowly. “Alright, Rey Pembroke. Let’s see what secrets you’ve been hiding.”
He sat at his desk, turning on his monitors. Then he bypassed firewalls, infiltrated databases, and pulled up years of hidden documents, transaction logs, illegal offshore payments.
When he finally hit Upload, the files and evidence spread through the city’s networks. Within minutes, the story broke on every news feed.
Just like always.
“Breaking News: Pembroke Industries exposed for environmental corruption and homicide.”
Leon leaned back, and yawned in exhaustion.
“And that,” he muttered, “is how justice should look.”
He shut his system down and decided to do something simple, something normal. Groceries.
Because he needed to eat.
The bell over the door chimed as Leon entered the small market down the street. He picked a basket, grabbed some fruit, coffee, and milk.
While scanning for the apples.
Leon reached for an apple at the same time she did. Their hands brushed briefly.
“Oh,sorry,” she said, pulling back with a small laugh. “Guess I’m in your way.”
Leon shook his head. “No, you’re good. Take it.”
“Thanks.” She dropped the apple into her basket and smiled. “I don’t think I’ve seen you around here before.”
“I moved nearby a few weeks ago,” Leon said, offering a faint smile. “Trying to settle in.”
“New to this side of Gotham?” she asked.
“Yeah,” Leon replied. “Figured I’d try somewhere quieter. Less chaos.”
She laughed softly. “Good luck with that. Gotham doesn’t really do quiet.”
“Guess not. I’m Leon, by the way.”He said.
“Gwen,” she said, extending her hand. “Gwen Carter.”
He shook it, firm but brief. “Nice to meet you, Gwen.”
“Likewise. So what do you do, Leon?”
“I’m a… freelance developer,” he said after a thought. “Mostly code stuff. Boring, really.”
“Trust me,” she chuckled, “I live off boring. I’m a reporter for GCN. Half my job is pretending to sound excited about traffic updates.”
“GCN?” Leon asked, pretending not to recognize the network that had been broadcasting his anonymous missions for weeks. “That’s pretty big.”
She shrugged modestly. “Big pay, boring job. But I guess it’s something.”
Leon smiled faintly. “Well, you look like someone who’s good at what they do.”
Gwen laughed. “You don’t even know me.”
“Maybe not,” Leon said. “But I’ve got good instincts.”
“Is that so?” she teased.
She tilted her head looking curiously at Leon. Then, she glanced down the aisle. “I should grab something real quick. Don’t let anyone take my spot .”
He smirked. “No promises.”
Gwen laughed and walked off.
Leon turned back to the fruit display, still half-smiling,until the blue light blinked into his vision.
[Mission Failed] Countdown Initiating... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1...
Leon’s eyes widened. “What, wait! Failed? How?”
Next thing he knew he was teleported, into the Error Zone.
“No… no, no, no,” Leon breathed, heart pounding. “I completed the mission. I reported Pembroke. The police arrested him!”
A distant screech echoed through the ruins. Leon turned, and saw them.
The glitch-creatures. Dozens this time, shaped like robotic ants with their metal jaws clacking.
He didn’t have time to think.
“Damn it!” he shouted, running through the twisted streets. “What did I do wrong?!”
Back in the real world,Gwen returned with her basket, only to find Leon gone. His groceries laying on the floor.
She frowned, looking around. “...Weird.”
**********
Leon returned to his apartment, gasping, drenched in sweat. His body trembled from exhaustion.
He staggered to his feet, taking off his jacket, trying to make sense of what just happened. He’d done everything the System asked
,he’d exposed the company, handed over proof, even sent it anonymously to the police.
He reported the crime.
So why did he fail?
Then the broadcast cast coming from the TV hit him.
“Breaking News: Rey Pembroke Cleared of All Charges.” “Authorities confirm that the allegations and digital evidence were fabricated to tarnish the Pembroke family name.”
Leon’s heart sank. He stood there, staring at the screen, at the grin of the man who had poisoned the city’s waters and gotten away with it.
His fists clenched. “No… that’s not possible,” he muttered. “I saw the proof. I had the proof.”
He grabbed his coat and stormed out.
He headed to Gotham city Police Department.
When Leon pushed open the doors, the first person he saw was detective Ethan Black looking up from his desk with surprise. “Leon Vargas?”
Leon exhaled shakily. “You… you’re the guy who hit me that night.”
Ethan stood in surprise.“Yeah. I didn’t expect to see you again so soon. You look better.”
“Forget that.” Leon’s voice cracked slightly. “Why was Pembroke released?”
Ethan's expression changed.“That case isn’t mine anymore, Leon.”
“Don’t give me that,” Leon snapped. “You know what he did. The evidence was solid. People died because of him.”
Ethan sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “It’s Gotham. You know how this city works. People like him don’t fall, they just land softer.”
“So that’s it?” Leon said bitterly. “He walks free and everyone just pretends it didn’t happen?”
Ethan didn’t answer. He looked tired, like a man who’d seen this cycle too many times. “Go home, Leon. Stay out of it. For your own good.”
Leon stared at him for a long moment, then turned and walked out without another word.
Back in his apartment, Leon sank into his chair, staring blankly at the wall. The city outside buzzed with life, all moving on like nothing had happened.
Then the blue glow came again.
(New Mission: Correct the Injustice)
Target: Rey Pembroke Class A Mission - 24 Hours Remaining
Leon’s breath hitched. “You’ve got to be kidding me.”
This time, there were no options to report, only one word was on the holographic display.
[TAKE ACTION]
He stared at it. Then, slowly, for the first time, he understood. The System wasn’t asking him to report the crime.
It was asking him to correct it.
it was asking him to take action.
Leon goes to (WEAPON ACCESS) selecting the dagger,it appears on his hand.
Leon looks down at the dagger, seeing his reflection on the metal.
“So this is what you want,” he whispered. “You want me to do the job myself.”
“Fine,” he muttered.

Pyromancer part three
The screen went black. Silence filled the warehouse except for the faint hum of the old lights.Pyromancer turned slowly toward Gwen, who was still tied to the chair, trembling. He crouched beside her, his masked face inches from hers. “Show’s over,” he murmured. His gloved hand gripped her jaw and forced her to look at him. She whimpered.“Let’s wait for your boyfriend to arrive,” he said, a cruel grin spreading beneath the mask. “If he comes…” He leaned closer, whispering. “…he goes boom.”Gwen blinked rapidly, tears gathering in her eyes. “Why?” she managed to say through shaking lips. “Why do you hate him that much?”Pyromancer paused. Then, slowly, he pulled off his mask. Half of his face was burned , melted skin twisted into something that barely looked human.“You really want to know?” His voice dropped, low and bitter. “Two years ago, I had a plan. A masterpiece. I was going to cleanse that school, burn it down. But your precious Detective Black… he found me first.”His one go

Now.The wail of sirens grew louder outside ,closer by the second. The cops were here.If they found him like this… masked, injured, surrounded by debris, it was over.Leon staggered to his feet, limping toward the nearest exit.He yanked the door open and slipped into a dark corridor filled with hanging pipes and debris. He could hear voices now, detective Ethan shouting orders.“Secure the perimeter!” “Check the east wing!”Leon’s heart pounded in his ears. He pressed himself against the wall, trying not to make a sound. He spotted a vent cover near the floor. Bolts rusted, but loose enough. He crouched, ignoring the pain in his ribs, and ripped it open with shaking hands.Metal groaned.“Did you hear that?” someone
Pyromancer part one
Leon had gone all out, private table, city view, the kind of place where the waiters spoke in hushed tones and the menu didn’t bother showing prices.Gwen leaned back in her seat, swirling her wine. “You really know how to surprise a girl, Leon,” Gwen said.“You know,” she added between sip of red wine, “I still can’t believe you managed to get a reservation here. It’s always booked months ahead.”Leon smiled faintly. “I have my ways.”“Oh? And what ways are those?” she teased. He leaned back with a casual smirk. “A man never reveals his secrets.”She rolled her eyes. “Uh-huh, mysterious as always.”For a few minutes, they talked about lighter things, the city, the rain, even how bad the coffee was at her newsroom. Then, as their plates were cleared, Gwen rested her chin on her hand, studying him.“So,” she said, with curiosity, “what is it you do for a living again?”Leon froze for a moment. He wasn’t prepared for that one.“Uh,” he started, fumbling with his napkin, “I do… freelance te

The door creaked open.Gwen froze. Her eyes widened for a second before she masked it with a smile. “Ethan.” “Gwen.”Silence stretched between them an uncomfortable one. The kind that brings up old memories neither of them wanted to revisit.“What brings you here?” she asked.“I just need to ask a few questions,” Ethan said, flipping open his notebook, avoiding her eyes. “About last night. The Pembroke explosion.”Her expression changed slightly. “You think I had something to do with that?”“No,” he said quickly, then sighed. “But you were there, Gwen. With someone. A man. Who was he?”Gwen’s lips pressed together. “Just some random guy. It was raining, and he looked like he’d been caught in it. I… let him share the taxi. That’s all.”Ethan studied her face, the way she wouldn’t look at him directly. “Alright,” he said after a moment, shutting the notebook. “Just… be careful, okay? Whoever that guy was, he might be dangerous.”She gave a small nod. “I will.”He turned to leave, his foo
