Nora’s stomach pain became so severe that her vision started getting blurry, she fought hard to remain conscious but it felt like she was going to faint.

“My. Phone.” She forced the words out as she asked Jake to help her get her phone but Jake was still worried about leaving her.

“It’s right on the table, I need to call Lila! I’ll be fine.” The words rushed out of her mouth in a bid to put Jake’s mind at ease.

Scanning the room with his eyes, they soon landed on the phone that was on the table and without hesitation or a second thought, he rushed to get it.

Jake never really cared about the Benson family, he didn’t care about anything but their money, the inheritance and he couldn’t let Nora die too.

He knew that soon everything would become his so all he had to do was act as if he wanted Nora to live, as if he liked Kai and Kai was the one who didn’t like him back.
