CHAPTER 27: THE DAUGHTERS ARE AGAINST HIM.

After dinner, Romsey waved goodbye to his Dad and step-mother before returning to his room. Aurelia was still in her room and didn't come down till it was very late when the others had retired to bed.

She strolled out almost like a peep, sitting lazily on the sofa. Immediately, Genevieve her younger sister joined her, she sat very close to her, Aurelia caressed her cornrows; she really liked to to do that, playing with her sisters long punny tails. Tracing the strands of hair from different parts of her scalp, then she meshed and tied them together.

Genevieve sat on the lower part of the chair, hugging a big pink teddy bear that seemed to contrast with her slim stature, leaning her head to its soft hairy body.

"Why did you walk away from the table?" Genevieve broke the silence, turning her head with a blank stare at her sister's face.
