As Dane woke up, he immediately stood from his bed and grabbed his phone to check the time.

“What? It’s already 4 a.m.? I slept at 9 p.m… it’s 4 already?” Dane muttered.

He knew Butcher would soon arrive, so he headed straight to take a proper shower. After bathing, he dressed in decent clothes, carefully pulling them on over his injuries. The jacket and trousers he’d worn during the mission—once soaked in blood—had been soaking in the bucket. The stains had mostly faded.

He poured the bloody water out of the bucket, then placed the jacket back in to soak again.

That’s when he heard the sound of a car pulling up.

From inside the ship, he looked through the small glass pane near the window—just enough space to peek through. He spotted a Range Rover and another vehicle pulling up near the ship.

It had to be Butcher.

Immediately, he walked out of his room—and that’s when he saw Gary.

Gary had noticed too.

Butcher was back.

Gary and Dane both saw each other, but neither acknowledged the o

  • One Word Away

As he caught the suitcase, it bent slightly in his grip. He opened it.Dane was annoyed—really, really annoyed—but he didn’t say another word. He began loading the guns, bullets, and everything he needed into the suitcase. Once it was all packed, he closed it with a sharp click. He stood up, ready to leave. Jimmy was still staring at him, that smug look glued to his face.Dane walked toward the door. But just as he reached it, he paused. He didn’t push it open right away. Instead, he turned slightly and looked back at Jimmy. With his hand on the doorknob, he said, “After I come back from this mission… I promise you—if you ever act this way toward me again, I won’t let it slide.”Jimmy leaned back in his chair, that same smirk tugging at his lips. “That’s only if you survive.”Dane didn’t respond. He turned the knob and walked out. As he stepped into the hallway, he saw Jota standing beside the door.you’re always everywhere,” Dane said.“Please, sir. Let me carry your suitcase,” Jota

  • You Won’t Survive

Jimmy watched Dane. It was the eyes—eyes of someone who wasn’t just confident, but carried something deeper. This wasn’t arrogance. It was something else.“We’ve been talking for too long,” Jimmy said. “Well, today’s the day. You’re not going to survive. I’m sure of that.”Dane interrupted. “Okay. We’ll see. We’ll see if I survive or not.”Both of them stood up. They moved closer until their boots were almost touching. Their fists were clenched, and they faced each other with silent tension.“So you think I’m not going to survive?” Dane asked.“I don’t think you’re just going to fail,” Jimmy said. “Let me be clear—you’re going to die. You’ll die on this mission, and I’ll be the one attending your funeral.”“You fool,” Dane snapped. “Who the hell do you think you are, you bastard? You smell like shit.”Dane tightened his fist, ready to throw a punch at Jimmy. But just then, a knock sounded on the door. Both men froze.“Who is it?” Jimmy asked.“It’s me—Jota,” the voice answered. “You c

  • Mission of No Return

As Dane reached the room, Jota opened the door for him, and he stepped inside. He looked at Jimmy. The room fell into silence before Jimmy finally broke it. He was sitting with his hands resting on his desk, his head tilted forward. Without a word, he gestured to Dane.Dane walked over and opened the travel bag. Inside were all sorts of weapons—some he had never seen before. There was even a sniper rifle, a smoke screen, and nearly every other piece of equipment he could think of. He kept staring, then looked up at Jimmy.“So what about the car you said you were going to prepare for me?” Dane asked.“I spoke with Butcher. He said we shouldn’t give you a car—you’re too good at riding bikes,” Jimmy replied.Dane paused, disappointed. I really wanted to ride a car. I’m sure it would’ve been an exotic one. But now they’re saying I can’t even get that? he thought. Then he said aloud, “Okay.”“You want to take all the guns? Everything?” Jimmy asked.“No,” Dane replied. “It’s going to be too

  • Trigger Hour

As he took a bite of the steak, he realized it was incredibly delicious—and immediately began to eat faster. He rushed through the meal, finishing it quickly. Once done, he began undressing. He pulled off the suit he was wearing, folded it neatly, and placed it by the side of his bed. Then he removed his leather shoes. Now in just his underwear, he walked to the closet in the room and found a singlet inside. He put it on, then glanced at his phone. It was already 8 p.m.I need to sleep and reserve energy, he thought. He wanted to train, but knew he shouldn’t wear himself out the night before the mission. So he decided he’d just take a long nap—get some solid rest and be fully ready for tomorrow. He went to his bed, turned off the light, and fell asleep. The following day, as soon as he woke up, he rushed to the bathroom to pee. After that, he rinsed his mouth and took a quick shower. Coming back into the room, he walked to the closet, grabbed a towel, and dried himself off. Then he go

  • A Room in the Enemy’s House

Dane picked up the phone,“I just received information that you’ve already reached one of my skyscrapers in Genoa,” Butcher said.“Yes, sir. So it’s you who owns it?” Dane asked.“Yeah. I hope there’s no problem,” Butcher replied.Dane was about to say there wasn’t, but then he remembered Jimmy’s behavior.“Sir… I don’t think I can trust Jimmy,” Dane said into the phone. “Since I came under you, I’ve noticed a lot of people—even back on the ship—don’t like me. Plenty of them envy me. Same with Gary. He hates me like I did something to him, but I never did. And now Jimmy too.”Butcher replied calmly, “Listen, if there’s anyone I trust—anyone who’s a real man—it’s Jimmy. You can count on him. He might come off that way, but he’s a good person. Just don’t argue with him too much. He’s not the type to hold back. If you push too far—or throw a punch—he won’t hesitate to kill you. And if it comes to a fight between you and Jimmy, you won’t win. So don’t mess with him. I told him to arrange

  • Gravewalk

“Yes, maybe I’m the type who’s always in a hurry,” Dane said coldly, “but I didn’t come here to chat with you, make friends, or waste time. Just give me the gun and let me leave.” Jimmy had been smiling, but his face hardened. “You… you’re new to this, aren’t you? Don’t talk to me like that. I’m trying to be nice to you because of Butcher. But believe me—you won’t survive this mission. You’re walking straight into your grave.” He stepped forward slightly. “I already sent some of my men. Butcher asked me to send them ahead to get his nephew. But it turns out the kid is being watched. All ten of them were killed. His nephew hasn’t been captured yet, but they’re clearly under surveillance. And if those people spot you? You’re dead. So tell me—who the hell are you? You’re just one man. One.” Jimmy’s jaw tightened as he clenched his fist. “I told Butcher this. But he insisted you’re different.” He gave a cold, mocking smile. “Butcher said we should prepare a room for you to stay in.
