CHAPTER 21

Heavy dense gasps filled the air, enhancing the blunt silence that erupted from the crowd.

Everyone watched what would happen next. And then Nathan pulled out his gift. It was a bouquet. He dropped the flower and frowned.

“Oh crap! What has Nathan gotten himself into?” Neil whispered and shut his eyes in shame for his friend.

“I thought he said he wasn’t going to make it! Now dude’s about to get messed up again!” Marcus agreed.

They were both feeling bad for Nathan already. He has put himself in the spotlight and is now about to embarrass himself.
