Chapter 50

Ray was confused. He was dreaming of consummating their marriage before waking up.

Maybe dreams were affected by subconsciousness. Bizarrely, in the dream, the face of the woman under him was vague. He wasn't sure whether it was Sarah.

So, when he heard her voice, he felt guilty. Disturbed in a sound sleep, he was in a daze for a slip second.

"What? I am dead?" he asked in reply.

As it grew brighter outside, Sarah saw she was in a ward and realized she had

been saved and was not dead.

After waking up, she was mad and hated Ray for being ungrateful.

But when she saw how silly he looked, she felt like laughing out loud.

To stifle her laughter, she stared at him with wide eyes; her face turned red from exertion.

Yet, still, she failed and burst out laughing.

Ray scratched his head and regained his senses. "Sarah, you're awake! This is great!"

Sarah snorted and turned around.
