"What am I going to do? I hope I didn't blind myself by hitting my eye just now," Nathan, the supervisor, said with a hint of despair as he watched Andrew Wilson approach him.

"Don't forget that we live in a society governed by the rule of law. If you kill me, you will also be sentenced," he continued.

"In a society governed by the rule of law? You still know that it's a society governed by the rule of law," Andrew Wilson rebuked.

"You've done so many unethical things in school, drugging and seducing female teachers, leaving your post without permission, and losing your moral compass. You don't deserve to live."

"Even if I were to be sentenced to death, it wouldn't be up to you to decide. It would have to go through the judicial department, and you can't take the law into your own hands," Nathan hurriedly explained.

Upon hearing this, Andrew Wilson's lips curled into a smile as he said,

"Do you recognize this?" He took out a token from his waist, on which was carved a lying dragon staring back at him.

"Damn it," Supervisor Nathan cursed.

"You, a rat, don't even recognize this. Since you're about to die, I'll give you a lesson on your last knowledge point in life."

"This is called the Owl Dragon Token. Three of them were issued by the ruler of the Divine Land. Whoever possesses this token holds the highest authority and can act without reporting to anyone."

"Now, in your lifetime, you can see this token. It's a pity that you're going to die."

"Are you sure you won't tell me why you're targeting a five-year-old child?" Nathan was at a loss for words and swallowed a mouthful of saliva.

In the Apex Entertainment Club.

The door to room 306 on the third floor opened, and the smell of fresh blood wafted out.

Robert White turned his head and saw Andrew Wilson wiping his hands as he walked out.

"Let's go," Andrew Wilson said in a low voice.

"Yes!"

Robert White locked the door to the room as they left.

At the entrance of the club, Evelyn held hands with Ryan Wilson, waiting for Andrew Wilson and Robert White to come out.

When they saw them, Ryan ran over and Andrew Wilson picked him up, asking if he had misbehaved in front of his teacher.

Ryan shook his head and showed him the chocolate that his teacher had bought for him.

Ryan thanked the teacher and then approached Evelyn to tell her that he had kept his promise, she wouldn't have to see Nathan, the supervisor, again.

He also warned her not to tell anyone about what had happened that night.

Ryan then reminded Andrew Wilson that they had to go home because his mother had called.

Andrew Wilson agreed and asked Robert White to escort Evelyn home.

She wanted to refuse, but Robert White insisted, knowing that it was an honor to be favored by Andrew Wilson.

Evelyn bid farewell to Ryan and left with Robert White.

In the Smith family courtyard, Camila returned with exhaustion and collapsed onto the shabby sofa, overwhelmed by the emotional blow.

She never expected her father to be such a heartless person.

Over the years, she had raised Ryan alone, and her parents secretly helped her behind the backs of the elders in the family.

But in the end, her father treated her as a pawn in the struggle for the family's assets and his grandfather's favor.

At the entrance of the courtyard, a green taxi stopped. Andrew Wilson carried Ryan out of the car and stood still at the gate.

"Daddy, why aren't we going in? Mom must be worried. Let's go in quickly," Ryan said, pulling Andrew Wilson's hand.

But no matter how hard Ryan pulled, Andrew Wilson remained motionless.

Five years ago, when they had just graduated from college, their love was vehemently opposed by Camila's parents because Andrew Wilson came from a poor rural area.

It was at this gate that Andrew Wilson knelt down and begged for three days and nights in the pouring rain.

But Camila's father remained unyielding and showed no mercy.

Later, Andrew Wilson and Camila eloped, but the Smith family sent people to bring Camila back, and their relationship was temporarily broken.

Looking at the unchanged Smith family gate, Andrew Wilson recalled the scene of his pleading, "Uncle, Camila and I truly love each other. Please, let us be together. I will make her happy in the future."

"What can you offer my daughter? You are just a country bumpkin who needed the whole village to fund your college education. Get out of here!" The past scene was vivid in his mind.

But now, he was not the same person as before.

He believed that the Smith family would see him in a different light.

"Daddy, what are you thinking? Why don't we go in?" Ryan asked.

"Oh...nothing. Let's go in now," Andrew Wilson replied.

Walking into the courtyard, all the lights in the house had already been turned off and the Smith family had gone to bed.

Andrew Wilson was heading towards the main entrance when Ryan reached out and pulled him, saying, "Daddy, not that way, it's this way. You're going the wrong way." He pointed to a small house nearby.

Andrew Wilson was surprised.

Wasn't this the house where the nanny lived? How could the daughter of the Smith family be living on the same level as the nanny?

"Ryan... Ryan Wilson, you and mommy live in here?" Andrew Wilson couldn't believe it, staring at the small, dark house.

"Yes, ever since I can remember, mommy has always lived here," Ryan said.

"It's much smaller than where grandpa lives, but mommy says she's not unhappy because of it.'"

"Ryan, you're so sensible. Daddy will make sure you and mommy live in a bigger house than this in the future, okay?" Andrew Wilson smiled wryly.

It was all clear now.

It must have been Camila's father who did this.

The door to the house was gently pushed open, and moonlight shone in, casting shadows on the sofa.

"Mommy, why are you sleeping on the sofa?" Ryan ran over and hugged Camila, who had just woken up from the sudden noise.

"Ryan, where did you go? Mommy was so worried," Camila slowly raised her head and saw another person at the door.

The lights in the house were not turned on, and the moonlight cast a familiar yet unfamiliar shadow on her.

Even though Andrew Wilson was standing in front of her, she still had a half-believing, half-doubting attitude.

"It's me, I'm back," Andrew Wilson walked up to the mother and son.

"It's really you, you're really back?" Camila's eyes were red from crying as she looked deeply into his eyes.

Feeling each other's breath and hearing each other's voices, Andrew Wilson's heart was aching as he looked at Camila's tearful eyes.

"Have you been drinking?" Andrew Wilson whispered.

Camila nodded.

Her heart, which had been aching, suddenly turned into discomfort.

She had no idea that her child was being abused by the teacher at school and had not bothered to inquire about her child's academic progress.

Andrew Wilson suppressed his feelings of longing.

"Okay," Andrew Wilson said helplessly.

The two of them remained silent for several minutes.

Camila's phone suddenly rang and she answered the call.

"Camila, come back home. Your father was a bit harsh just now. Don't take it to heart. As for Ryan, I've already sent someone to find him. Don't worry, after all, he is my grandson-in-law. I don't want him to have any problems. As for you, just focus on preparing for the wedding next Monday. I've already booked the hotel."

At that moment, Camila finally understood that her father had been deceiving her all along, especially this time.

Ryan was clearly by her side, yet her father claimed to have found him.

She was utterly disappointed in her father.

"Dad," Camila called out loudly.

Her swollen eyes were filled with tears. She had just refused, but the person on the other end of the phone didn't give her a chance.

The call was disconnected again.

The room was quiet. Andrew Wilson had heard everything that was said on the phone.

"Do you believe I will marry him?" Camila cried.

"The date and location of the wedding have already been booked. This is a fact. Your father is a person who cares about face. If you back out now, it will be a huge loss of face," Andrew Wilson said, turning his head to leave.

"Dad, are you going to abandon Mom and Ryan Wilson?" Ryan shouted anxiously from inside the room.

"Daddy does want you guys. Daddy has other things to do. If anyone bullies you in the future, remember to call Daddy," Andrew Wilson said before walking out of the Smith family's courtyard.

Inside the house, Camila frail body was still trembling.

Watching Andrew Wilson's departing figure, she was already sobbing uncontrollably.

She never expected that their first meeting after five years would be so heart-wrenching. Her belief that she had held onto for so many years had completely crumbled in that brief moment.

Three people got into a car and headed towards the Smith family company. "Maybe we shouldn't go," Camila leaned on Andrew Wilson's shoulder, her face full of anxiety. "My grandfather and father hate you to the bone. I'm afraid something will happen if you go. Besides, they want me to get married next Monday. If you suddenly appear, I don't know how they will treat you." Andrew Wilson smiled slightly and said, "Don't worry. Since I dare to go with you to see them, I am prepared. You can take a nap if you didn't sleep well last night. I'll wake you up when we get there." He lightly brushed Camila's nose as he spoke. "Annoying," Camila said shyly. "Our child is here too, be careful." "Mama, I want to touch your nose too," Little Ryan suddenly said. "Why is your face turning red?" "That's because your mother feels very hot right now," Andrew Wilson laughed. After a sleepless night and mental exhaustion, the mother and son leaned on Andrew Wilson's shoulder and lap a

Outside the university town, Andrew Wilson was sound asleep in a hotel room when a phone call came in. "Who is it?" Andrew Wilson complained without curiosity. "It's me, Dad, Ryan Wilson." Andrew immediately woke up and sat up. "Ryan, what's wrong? Didn't you go to school today?" "No, Dad. Can you come here? I'm so scared. Grandpa just came and bullied Mom. He wanted Mom to get married, but Mom refused. Grandpa scolded her and there were four fierce uncles standing at the door, not letting us out. I want to go out and play with Mom." "I know. l'll be right there." After hanging up the phone, Andrew Wilson wondered if he had really misunderstood Camila. Maybe what scorpion said was right. Sometimes what he saw and heard with his own eyes and ears might not be true. He thought back to last night and realized that he had only complained about Camila and hadn't given her a chance to explain before leaving. Andrew Wilson picked up the phone and called Robert White. In the conference room of the Smith family, both sides were at a stalemate and the situation was getting out of hand. "James Smith, is this how you educate your children?" Ethan glanced at James and said, "I can overlook what happened before, but this time, there can be no mistakes in the marriage between Camila and the second son of our family." "Considering the sudden proposal from the Anderson family, it is convenient for business dealings between our companies, and for Camila, she has found a reliable home. It's a win-win situation." Sitting silently on the side, James' couldn't help but nod and smile, "Yes, I will definitely persuade Camila." "Yes, big brother, you must persuade Camila. It's not easy for her to raise a child alone. It's time to find a partner." "Camila, don't hesitate anymore. The second son of the Anderson family has a wealthy family. You won't lose out by marrying him." Looking at the ridicule of her relatives around her, Camila was completely dis

In the night of Los Angeles , the lights were dazzling, and the city was much quieter than during the day. His phone rang in his pocket. "Master Andrew, I have safely escorted Teacher Evelyn home.
