The humid air of Italy clung softly to Jack's skin as he and Lord Leo stood outside the grand Italian hotel, bathed in the orange-pink hue of the setting sun.

The tracker in Jack’s hand blinked softly,Scott’s signal had just resurfaced after hours of silence. His thumb trembled slightly as he pressed the green button, waiting for a miracle voice to break the eerie silence.

“Hello?”

The familiar voice came through.

Jack’s heart lifted instantly.

“Scott?”

But it was a cruel twist of irony. The line continued:

“I’m just kidding. Please leave a message,I’m currently not available.”

A mechanical beep followed.

Jack’s chest tightened.

“Shit!”

He snapped, lowering the phone from his ear.

Lord Leo, standing beside him, raised his brows.

“Didn’t connect?”

“No.”

Jack muttered in frustration.

“Voicemail again.”

His eyes darkened, his lips drawing into a tight line.

“I need to find him.”

He turned to walk, but Lord Leo caught his arm gently.

“Find him? How are you planning to do that?”

The warehouse was a cavern of shadows and steel, its air thick with the tang of rust and gunpowder. The overhead lights buzzed like angry wasps, casting harsh white beams across the concrete floor where Kyle Rick’s men stood in a tight ring, their rifles trained on Jack, Scott, and Lord Leo. Red laser dots danced across their chests and foreheads, pinning them like insects under glass. The echo of Kyle’s slow, deliberate clap reverberated off the walls, each strike a mocking punctuation to their predicament.Kyle leaned casually against the steel railing of the balcony above, his silhouette framed by the flickering industrial lights. His dark suit was impeccably tailored, but the smirk twisting his lips was anything but polished. It was the grin of a man who believed he’d already won. “Well, well, well.” He drawled, his voice dripping with sarcasm, each word stretched out like molasses. “The great Scott Benjamin, master strategist, walked right into my little trap. And with his lo

The iron gates to Scott Benjamin’s mansion creaked open under the pressing weight of dusk. The sky, a blood-orange canvas bleeding into charcoal grey, cast long shadows over the paved driveway. Gravel crunched beneath the tires as Jack and Lord Leo’s sleek black Lamborghini pulled into the Mansion, its tinted windows reflecting the surrounding trees like obsidian mirrors. The cars came to a silent halt beneath the sprawling carport that arched over the side garage, its walls paneled with dark mahogany and fitted with automatic lighting that flickered on like watchful eyes. The elevator doors at the far end of the corridor slid open with a clean metallic hush.Scott Benjamin stepped out.His shirt sleeves were rolled halfway up his forearms, and he held a steaming mug of black coffee like a prop, though his eyes were sharp. He glanced at the cars pulling in, then looked straight at them.“You’re already here.” He said, voice low, controlled, but edged with urgency.Jack stepped out of

Jack and Lord Leo exchanged tense glances as they stood just outside the elevator. Lord Leo pressed the phone back against his ear, pivoting to speak in hushed tones.“Where is he now, Commander?”Commander Marcello’s voice crackled through in calm urgency.“That man you tortured, the one who wouldn’t talk,he did eventually. Reluctantly. We knew if he didn’t know anything about Fero, he would know about Kelly Rick.” He paused for a moment and then continued. “Under pressure… he conceded.”The commanders added:“That Rick is currently operating out of a club owned by Ray Steven, but that club itself is a decoy. Beneath it is a massive underground drug facility, where they pack illegal cargo into trucks bound for export.”Jack nodded, absorbing every word.“What about the cops you dispatched?” He asked.“On their way there now.” Marcello replied. “But don’t engage. They will have to wait for my signal.”Before Lord Leo could say something further, his phone vibrated in his pocket.“I

Jack’s grip tightened on the woman’s wrist, halting the blade mere inches from Rex’s chest. She glared at him, surprise shifting into fury. “Let me guess.” She hissed, her eyes cold. “You’re the Jack our boss told us about. He said that you’re related to Bruce Lee.”Jack’s smirk deepened, disdain in his tone. “Maybe… Maybe not.”She sneered. “Too bad for you. Today was your dying day.”Jack’s gaze narrowed. “Don’t get your hopes up.”In a lightning move, she slammed her boot into the wall, levering her arm forward. Her knife flashed, but Jack yanked her wrist hard, pulling her off balance. He dove, pushing Rex out of harm’s way as both hit the floor.Rex hissed at the impact. Blood trickled from a shallow cut, pain radiating across his side. “You okay?” Jack asked, rising to brace him.Rex pressed a hand to the wound. “I hope so…”Victor slid across the floor and grabbed Rex by the shoulder. “Come on.” He hauled him upright and toward the door. Rex groaned, his voice weak.

The night was beginning to wrap itself in shadows by the time Jack and Lord Leo pulled into the hospital parking lot. The city lights glinted off the sleek surface of Lord Leo’s black sedan as it came to a stop. Jack stepped out first, his boots hitting the asphalt with precision. He scanned the area, sharp eyes taking in every detail with quiet caution, but nothing seemed immediately out of place.Lord Leo adjusted his coat and gave Jack a sideways glance. “Let’s make this quick.” He muttered. “I don’t like hospitals.”Just then, Victor’s car rolled up behind them, engine humming low. He parked a few spots away, stepped out, and pulled the car door shut with a soft thud. His eyes swept the perimeter and that’s when he saw it.A black SUV sat quietly near the side gate of the hospital. It was too polished and still. Leaning casually against it was a man in a white coat, one hand in his pocket, the other holding a cellphone to his ear. He wasn’t speaking much, just nodding, his eyes

The tortured man’s ragged breathing echoed through the chamber like a dying animal’s whimper. His sweat-matted hair clung to his forehead, and his wrists twitched against the leather restraints of the electric chair. His chest rose and fell in panicked spasms. The air stank of burnt flesh and fear.Jack stood over him, the dim red light of the controller panel glowing against his face. His voice was calm, chillingly so.“All right then.” Jack said, staring coldly into the man’s bloodshot eyes. “Talk.”The man’s lips trembled. His face contorted with something halfway between desperation and defiance. Then, with a shaky breath, he choked out:“Just... who the hell do you think you are...?”Before he could even finish the sentence, Jack’s fingers slammed the button. The chair came alive again, its cruel buzz searing through the air. The man screamed, his muscles tensing, his feet kicking helplessly against the floor. Saliva sprayed from his mouth as his head jerked back, eyes rolling.
