Tyler cursed as he read the message again. He checked the sender and sure enough it was from an unreachable number.

"Stop panicking. It's most likely a spam message. What can they know about us?" He yelled to his father who was pacing and muttering.

"Then why was it sent to both of us? This doesn't feel like a spam message to me. This is why I was against the last move."

Tyler rolled his eyes and slammed his fists on the table. "So what now, are you blaming me? Why should we take this seriously?"

Why was the universe intentional of pissing him off today. Why should he even take the text seriously? He saw his father typing a reply and he snatched his phone from him.

"What are you doing?" He asked with clenched teeth.

"Let me ask him who he is. I won't let him take everything I've ever worked for."

"What part of not encouraging the person don't you understand? It is a spam message that most likely was also sent to a few thousand other people." He ended with a yell and his father grabbed his phone and walked out.

Tyler hissed out a breath as he watched his father's retreating back. He read the message again trying to find a hint, anything to help him identify the bastard.

'Everyday is for the thief and one day is for the owner. How will you sleep at night knowing everything you have is about to come crumbling down. Start preparing.'

Tyler threw his phone across the room and held his hair. Had the message been targeted to them? He was going crazy.

His phone started ringing so he went to pick it up. Rosetta was the one calling. What did she want this time around? He sighed and picked the call.

"Tyler, is everything okay? Me and mom just got a very weird text."

"Ignore it." He snapped.

He heard her gasp. "Did you also get that kind of message? Has he sent something else to you?"

Tyler frowned and checked his phone and sure enough, there was another message. He opened it.

'Hi. Sorry for the barge in, let me introduce myself. Or is there any need? We'll get acquainted soon enough.'

Tyler clenched his phone in his fist imagining it was the bastard's neck. "Ignore it. There's no way anybody knows anything. We've been very careful about our operations."

"Sure. If you do find the person, let me know immediately."

"Okay." He dropped the call and sat down. He needed to think.

Justin sent the message and reclined on the sofa. He was finally putting his plan to action and it felt so damn good.

"So what other thing did you find out about them?"

Even though they had tried their best not to bring business, especially illegal ones home when he was still with them, there were lots of things he had found out but he knew his sister would also have new things to tell about them.

His goal for the Romanos was to bring them crumbling down on a pile of rubbish that was everything they owned and amazingly, they had made things incredibly easy for him by dabbling in illegal things.

There was always a fear of protection from the cops especially when it came to rich people but with his influence and power as well as the people's interests, he knew he was going to get what he wanted.

"Did you know they broke any and every labor law? We were barely paid."

Justin and Nelson glared at her in unison. "What?"

Nora rolled her eyes. "There wasn't really much I could do. It's not like I could leave you in their grasp."

Justin shook his head, "Them breaking labor laws won't do much damage to them. I need something they will not want out. I feel like playing hide and seek."

Nora looked at him with new knowledge. "You can be brutal."

Justin smiled charmingly, "Of course. Just giving them a taste of their medicine." He had so many things against them already but they were too big in his opinion to use as bait which was why he wanted to get some information from Nora.

"They abused their employees. Physically."

Nelson bounced up. "What did you say?"

Nora shrugged, "It wasn't very often but there were times they did. It isn't something you should get mad at me for."

Justin smiled bitterly. "Don't worry. I'll make it hurt for them"

**************************

Tyler sat in silence and darkness for what felt like an eternity. This wasn't the first time they'd gotten a spam message like this but something kept telling him this wasn't spam. He needed to do something but what? The idea that someone knew their secrets was terrifying, even for him.

His father was no help with his emotionality and his mother and Rosetta were as useless as possible. He needed to take care of this himself.

He picked up his phone reading the message again. It sounded like the person was toying with him. He gritted his teeth in fury, he would teach the bastard why it was a terrible idea to mess with him. He, Tyler Romano.

He remembered the last operation they had done which had messed everything up. His father's words came back to him, the coward. He hadn't said anything until he had messed it up himself.

He was going to deal with this mess himself the way he best knew. He sent a quick text to a contact he had promised never to use again. "Find where these messages are from. You have forty eight hours."

It sucked to be cheated on but that contact was the last and most desperate option he had.

His phone pinged with another text and he checked it warily. "Let's play a game. How many enemies do you think you have? I'm more than all of them combined."

He cursed and slammed his phone on the table. He wasn't going to let one idiot who probably was just bluffing to ruin what he and his family had built for years.

His phone started ringing with calls from his mom and he hissed and walked out of the room.

Meanwhile, Justin leaned back on the couch, a smirk tugging at his lips. His sister’s revelations had given him the exact leverage he needed. This was only the beginning. The Romanos would crumble, not because of some quick, reckless attack, but because Justin would make sure they were consumed from within, piece by piece.

“Breaking labor laws and abusing employees…” Justin’s voice trailed off as he thought about it. That information alone wasn’t enough, but it was a start. What he really needed was a scandal that would shatter their public image beyond repair.

His brother turned to him. “What’s the next move?”

Justin grinned, an excited look in his eyes. “We make sure they have no choice but to face the truth. I’ll keep sending them messages. Let them think they’re running out of time, and they’ll start making mistakes.”

Nora looked at her brother, curious. “What are you planning?”

Justin’s grin widened. “I’m going to let them panic. The Romanos are predictable when they’re desperate. And when they slip up, I’ll be waiting.”

He laughed softly, the game had just begun.

Justin took a sip of his coffee and smiled his thanks to the cook who returned it with a nod and went back to the kitchen. He hadn't exactly gotten close to his staff but at least now he knew their names and a little about their families. He was having fun living the life he currently was living. He opened his phone and propped it on its holder, tuning it to his recent favorite show, the Romanos family. It was amazing the level of privacy one could intrude in just because they had money.Benson entered the dining room, dangling a key. “I have to go and meet one of our directors. I'll come and meet you later at work.”“Sure.” Justin waved and smiled when he had closed the door. Since he started his quest for revenge, Benson had assumed the role of nursemaid and bodyguard whenever he was in the restaurant, which had reopened after the disaster. He turned his attention back to his phone. He was getting feedback from the Romanos in real time. Cameras had been planted in their houses and

Justin slammed the door in anger, noticing through the corner of his eyes the fact that his staffs subtly tried to disappear. He didn't even mind that, he was sure he had terrified his employees at work with the dark scowl on his face coupled with his communication prowess. He honestly wasn't happy with his behavior but the anger he had been feeling since he had seen his destroyed restaurant was still bubbling close to the surface.Benson didn't value his life obviously since he was the only one that stuck to him. Justin stomped up the stairs to his room and slammed the door, not surprised to hear the firm knock barely ten seconds after. He knew Benson had been following him but he really wasn't in the mood to talk to him, or anyone for that matter. Which was why he hadn't told anyone about it yet. He and Benson had become friends in the past few weeks and he already knew how Benson would react. He ignored the knock and the door was jerked open after the third knock by Benson, his fa

Justin sighed and repeated the same statement the third time. What had Benson been doing, hiring idiots? "Alright Sir. I'll use this and let you know the outcome." Justin gripped his phone hard, resisting the urge to throw his phone as an alternative to punching the man's face. He had officially launched his restaurant three weeks before, and just like he had known, it was doing well both in terms of sales and popularity. He had chosen his staff himself and had trained them on what was expected of them if they wanted to remain in his employ, but apparently, it hadn't been needed. Rumors had already spread about the way and reason the former staffs had been fired. Despite that, he had visited his dad's company the week before and had been alarmed at the state of the company. It was a wonder they still had shareholders. Since he had long being interested in tech and knew more about it than the idiot that had been appointed acting director, he had spoken with the board members in

Martha rushed into the room at the sound of glass shattering. “What the heck, Tyler?” The glass had shattered the television screen, causing glass to spread across the room, and a piece had embedded itself into Tyler's fingers. “Are you okay?” She rushed towards him. Tyler shrugged her off, mad with anger. “Do you know what I just watched?” His mother shook her head, and Tyler stood up, shaking with anger. “I just saw Justin on TV. Apparently, he has his own restaurant now and thinks he's a big deal.” Remembering the punk’s smile during the interview was making him more furious. Martha frowned. “What do you mean? Which Justin?” Tyler glared at his mother. “Which other one do you know?” Martha shook her head. “You must have seen wrong. It cannot be that pathetic dog.” “I saw him. He was just on the news. Apparently he's taking over a restaurant and renovating it now, and from the responses of people that were interviewed, they are really looking forward to it's reopening.

Justin hurried down the stairs, but as they saw him coming down, they all ran away. He cursed and started chasing them, but they were faster and quickly drove off in a van that didn't have a plate number. Justin stopped running and stared at the trail of smoke the car had gone, panting when Benson came to meet him with water. He collected the water Benson had brought for him and downed it. “Did you see those men?” Justin asked Benson, who had also finished drinking his bottle of water. Benson shook his head, “I tried taking some pictures, but they are all well covered. I'm sorry I wasn't there when they went into the restaurant. I was on a phone call with the company’s director.” Justin waved away the apology. “Don't be. Like I said, I'm not a child. Let's get back to the restaurant.” Justin walked back to the restaurant, wondering who they could have been. The annoying part was, there were a lot of suspects in his mind. He would have to watch, and eventually they would get c
