Chapter 04 - Best Exes Return

Damian grabbed Mr. Nadia with trembling hands, his voice filled with desperation.

"This is my death to face… Don’t you dare die on my behalf, old man!" he pleaded, refusing to let his housekeeper sacrifice himself.

He cared for Mr. Nadia deeply, like a father and in return, Mr. Nadia cherished Damian as though he were his own son.

"Ah! Gosh it hurts, this assassin's are everywhere, I couldn't just help myself Damian, as soon as I detected a gunshot damage in you... I rushed to this place, and I have called reinforcement too." Nadia tells Damian who manages to drag Nadia away from their attacks.

"Don't call for reinforcement, the whole world would finally be given a reason to believe that I am a Mafia." Damian says getting dizzy again.

The images of his two kids flashes through his memories.

"I can't give up now, Nadia, get everyone here recording me as I surrender to the police." Damian said to Nadia who was shocked.

"That's suicide, the police here will kill you, they have been given an order, we can find a way out of this." Nadia said, placing his hand over Damian.

This causes Damian to burst into tears as he holds onto his old housekeeper's face, who holds his back as well as Damian wept.

"Do you trust me?" Damian asked.

"Yes, Sir." Nadia replied to him.

"If we hide... They can finally kill me, but if I obediently surrender, they can only arrest me since they're people here already recording this illegal order, do you understand?" Damian said and his housekeeper noted with a yes to him as Damian stood up using his last strength.

"Announce it!" Damian orders Mr. Nadia whose eyes were full of tears, he was afraid Damian will be killed nevertheless by those stupid freaks.

"Damian Blackwell Surrenders himself to the Federal Republic Police force, in compliance with the presidential order!" Nadia yells on top his teary voice as people began to record his arrests.

The agents among the police could no longer shoot him dead but only arrest Damian as people streamed live, showing how Damian was maltreated, meaning his plan worked.

"Young master, I will come for you." Mr. Nadia, the housekeeper said as the police took Damian away, although this was a diversion.

Because the next Day, the opposition being Mr. Bilal, who is inlove with Lovina, Damian's wife will became the state prime minister whilst Damian stayed arrested in jail as much as they wanted.

For months, His Housekeeper Mr. Nadia fired deadly lawsuits to the presidency for staging a death coup over Damian's ambition, but the court kept delaying all the suits.

Mr. Nadia soon visits Damian, who looked malnourished and tortured.

"Young master, I can't bear to see you in this pain and state anymore, you're the only heir of Blackwell incorporation, they're messing with pure royalty, why do you let them torture you like this?" Nadia cries holding on to Damian's fingers.

"If your father was still alive, he would make them all pay! This is a disgrace." Nadia cries.

"Housekeeper, I know I have failed you, even my father too. I left him because I wanted to prove to him that I can succeed on my own, but now I know I can never trusts no one else but my true roots." Damian cries, feeling ashamed.

"You don't understand, you are worth trillions and trillions of dollars, you are not meant to ever suffer!" Nadia added.

"What do you mean?" Damian asked.

"You don't know?" Nadia asked.

"Blackwell incorporation is the richest incorporation in the world with its net worth over trillions and it's net worth is now private." The housekeeper tells him and that shocks Damian.

His father owns such an incorporation?

Damian's eyes and mouth opened in shock as the housekeeper handed him a document confirming his statement, with a section requiring his signature.

"So... All this while... I had this trillions? And this power?" He asked, shocked because he only knew his father was rich but not filthy Chaotic rich.

"Yes." The housekeeper replied.

"Housekeeper, but still... I swore to make my own money, I don't want to depend on my family's wealth, so for my political ambitions... Make sure the court declares my release." Damian says as a security officer walks in.

"It's time to leave." The officer announces to Mr. Nadia, who was disappointed that Damian refused his inheritance once again.

"Please Young master, sign the document at least." Mr. Nadia pleaded.

"Do we have a deal!?" Damian asked.

"Fine! I will act just like your father would!" The housekeeper says in rage and pain as he leaves the station and Damian Smiled In Hurt.

He now knew his true worth as he sums up his hardwork and his inheritance from his father's business, he indeed was a mega force.

"I am not an ordinary element." He says in his thoughts, holding still on his last starved energy for another night before a siren blows and the entire station is paraded with soldiers.

"Why are you grabbing me?" Damian asked as the prison security men manhandled him off from his room.

The security personnel personally ensuring he gets beaten per day and starved took him into a private room.

He gets seated, staring right into a dark corner of the room and then; The first lady of the country steps out and Damian's heart beats!!

"It is really Eliza, ha!" Damian scoffs, wondering why the first lady of the country paid him a visit.

"Damian... Remember me?" She asked.

"Of Course I do, why are you here?" Damian asked feeling a bit upset.

"Is that how you talk to your highschool Ex girlfriend?" She asked.

"Or are you out of words now, that you left me for that whore of a wife who left you for Bilal... The new prime minister or over the fact that I am the firsts lady of all republican states!?" She asked.

"What do you want from me? The president, Your husband obviously ruined me..." Damian was about to continue before he got interrupted.

"Did you just try to call me a whore?" She asked in between.

"I never said that." Damian replies.

"Wait... You think I am married to the current President?" She asked.

"Well..." Damian adds before she laughs walking straight to him.

"You think I will ever fall in love again after what you did to me those days, and come so low to marry that old pig?" She asked Damian.

"Eliza, it wasn't my fault." Damian tries to explain but she landed him a hard slap.

"Keep your mouth shut! You got me pregnant Damian!" she shouted, motioning to one of her guards who delivered a brutal punch to Damian's face.

"I dropped out of school because of you." She continued, her voice shaking with anger. 

"Everyone mocked me, humiliated me, treated me like I was worthless!"

"And what did you do after that?" She asked.

"I married Lovina." Damian replied with his voice heavy with pain. 

"A married a woman who never deserved me, who destroyed

my life and shattered my children's future." Tears streamed down his face as he spoke, his anguish spilling over.
