The next morning, Liam woke up to chaos. Elena was screaming. Maya was shouting. And Dr. Kane was gone. "What happened?" Liam jumped up from the cot he'd been sleeping on. "He's gone!" Elena pointed at the empty workstation. "Dr. Kane. He's not here. And the files are missing." Liam's blood ran cold. He ran over to the computer. The files were still there.
