[Host has been acquired].

-[Welcome host!].

"Eh, what's this?" Jacob voiced out with a look of astonishment.

He looked at both sides, but he still couldn't get the characters out of his line of sight.

-[ Host, you have been chosen to wield great power!]

"Wait, why does it keep calling host? Is it inside of me," Jacob questioned.

Just as he questioned the characters before his eyes changed once again, it was as if the characters were giving answers to his questions.

-[ Yes I'm inside of you and you have ten seconds to decide if you accept this power or not.]

Jacob's mind was consumed by confusion and disbelief, causing his words to spill out in a torrent of frantic questions. "Power? What power?" he exclaimed, his voice tinged with a mix of incredulity and frustration.

A sense of bewilderment gripped Jacob as he struggled to comprehend the unfolding events. "What is happening?" he wondered aloud, his voice trembling with uncertainty.

Perplexed by the situation, Jacob found himself caught in a peculiar predicament. The sheer absurdity of the situation brought forth a wave of doubt as if his own sanity was slipping away. "Why am I even replying to some weird characters?" he muttered.

The character changed once again.

-[ you may choose to decline this power, but that would spell death for you!]

Jacob held his chin after seeing these characters change again,

-[ten]

-[nine]

" huh? It just started counting down," Jacob noticed the characters changing every second it counted down.

-[seven]

"Will I truly die if I don't give an answer or decline?" Jacob was a bit scared of facing death, not at this young age.

-[ six ( you shall die) ]

The character answered with bluntness.

Jacob; "..."

-[four]

-[three]

Jacob could feel his heart rate slowing down as the countdown get closer to zero.

Ba...dump! Ba...dump!

-[two]

-[one]

" I accept" Jacob shouted out.

The countdown paused immediately after he said that.

Gasping for breath, Jacob's lungs heaved in an attempt to replenish the oxygen that had been depleted during the intense ordeal.

The rapid and labored inhalations echoed in the air, punctuated by the repetitive sound of "huff! huff! huff!" His physical exertion had pushed him to his limits, leaving him questioning whether he would survive.

As the countdown finally ceased, Jacob's body sagged with a mixture of exhaustion and relief.

He took a moment to collect himself, his hand instinctively moving to his chest, seeking solace in the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. The touch of his palm against his chest brought reassurance, as he felt the pulsations gradually normalize, signaling that his body was gradually recovering from the strenuous ordeal.

Just as Jacob began to regain his composure, a sudden shift occurred. The characters before his eyes changed once again.

[ Congratulations on accepting this power! Your fate has now been turned around]

'Hmm! I think whatever this is, it was responsible for the vibrant blue light that surged forth earlier from my body,' Jacob thought.

-[ your body shall now undergo constitution examination and evolution!].

Jacob noticed that his eyes were getting heavy after seeing the last message the characters formed in front of his eyes.

[ host shall now remain unconscious for the next twelve hours ]

" wait! What ar..." before Jacob could complete his statement, the characters before his eyes started another countdown.

"This is complete madness, I've completely lost it this time." Jacob thought as his heart started beating in a fast manner.

[ten...]

[nine...]

[eight...]

[seven...]

[six...]

[five...]

[four...]

[three...]

[two...]

[one...]

[zero]

[host shall now go into a deep sleep]

"oh no! No! I have to get ready to leave for 'MMA Academy' Jacob said as he felt his vision darken as the notification appeared in his line of sight, and he fell into a deep slumber.

After the human race received an unexpected visit from the enigmatic species known as the Zenithains, a dark chapter unfolded in the history of Earth.

The Zenithains, driven by their desire for conquest, launched a full-scale invasion, unleashing a devastating war against humanity in an attempt to seize control of the planet.

The conflict between humans and Zenithains was fierce and relentless. Cities were reduced to ruins, and landscapes were scarred by the ravages of battle. Both sides fought with unparalleled determination, utilizing advanced weaponry and technology.

The Zenithains, with their superior capabilities and alien technology, posed a significant threat to human survival.

Humanity valiantly resisted the invasion, demonstrating their resilience and determination. Led by courageous leaders, armed forces, and their abilities humans fought back, employing strategic maneuvers and making sacrifices to protect their homes and loved ones. The war waged on for years, exacting a heavy toll on both sides.

Eventually, after countless battles and unimaginable losses, the war reached a critical turning point.

Realizing the devastating toll the conflict had taken on both species, leaders from the humans and Zenithains engaged in secret negotiations. A glimmer of hope emerged as a mutual desire for peace and coexistence began to surface.

Humans, acknowledging the Zenithains' advanced technology and recognizing the potential benefits it could bring, allowed the Zenithains to remain on Earth. In return, the Zenithains agreed to share their knowledge and technology with humanity, forming an unprecedented alliance.

However, the memories of the war and the initial invasion were not easily forgotten. To address the lingering concerns and foster a sense of preparedness, the humans implemented a law mandating that all individuals attend a specialized school 'Magisterium Military Academy (MMA),' for the duration of three years after completing high school.

This school aimed to equip humans with the necessary skills and knowledge to survive in case of a potential Zenithain resurgence or any other threat to their planet.

The curriculum of this school focused on a variety of subjects, including combat training, advanced technology operation, strategic planning, and survival skills.

*Ding! Ding! Ding! *

Jacob could hear the ringing of notifications in his ear as he slept. If he was awake, he would have seen this process.
